Sorry its been so long, i took a break for the weekend and monday.I'll try to not make a habit of it.
Wasabi pulled up to the Hospital, "Honey said she was in room 3b."
Hiro nodded, then threw open the door and got out, followed by Wasabi. The large building loomed over them, it was much nicer than the one Brains got stuck in when they found her. The building was three stories and had large windows. They walked in through a large double doorway, to a bright white room. A women sat behind a desk typing away at a keyboard. Hiro walked up to the women, "Can we go see our friend in 3b."
She nodded and pointed toward a hallway, "Sign in, than take the elevators to the third floor, b should be the first on your left." She flashed a smile, Hiro and wasabi returned it, signed in and left down the hallway.
They walked to the elevator in silence and ascended the three stories. The doors hissed open to a white hall, three chairs lined up next to every door, only one was occupied, and by a blond girl. She wore a yellow dress and high heels and was sniffling.
Wasabi sat directly next to her and put an arm around her shoulder. "How is she?"
"Shes stable, and looks promising." She glanced at Hiro as he sat down, then whispered to Wasabi. "How's he?"
"I talked him down for now, but i have no idea how long it will last or what will happen the next time we see Krei."
Honey nodded, then looked to the door, then back down to the floor. Wasabi patted her shoulder as if knowing what she was thinking.
"Are we allowed to go in?" Hiro asked
"Ya, if you want to."
"That's the only reason i'm here." He mumbled pushing open the door.
The room was small, if had wooden floor and white plaster walls, a counter ran around two walls. A sink, some hand sanitizer and other cleaning supplies littered the counter top. A bed lay against the third wall looking at a blackened TV. The occupant of the bed had short black hair, with a purple strike down the middle of her bangs. cables snaked under the covers, presumably into her arm, the stark white blanket that covered her didn't have a spot on it.
A few chairs sat against the wall next to the bed, so Hiro sat down in the one closest to Gogo. "Don't worry Gogo, you're going to make it through this and when you do Krei will not be a problem, he won't bother anyone ever again, i'll make sure of that." He placed a hand on the blanked. A single tear rolled down his cheek, he looked out the window, why did it have to be on the third floor?
He stood up and walked out the door. Wasabi gave him a strange look that he couldn't quite make out. "So should i take you home?"
"Can we stop by Freds on the way?"
"No." His answer simple, yet commanding. His word was final.
"Why not?"
"Because i know why you want to got there and you're not ready. We split you up for a reason and right now you're still going to be split up. So i can take you home or we can stay for a while, or we can go somewhere else. But not Freds."
"Oh come on Honey Lemon you ca-"
"I fully agree with Wasabi on this." She interrupted. "We all remember what happened last time." Her voice getting soft as her mind wandered to that horrible memory that still hung with them all.
Hiro went silent, and in a flash of motion was in the elevator and slapped the lobby button. The doors hissed close as Wasabi got up and stuck his hand out to try and stop him but to no avail.
Fred opened up his pantry looking for something to eat. Heathcliff walked in and tilted his head at Fred, it wasn't uncommon for Fred to be looking for a snake but most of the time he would ask the butler to make it for him. Fred noticed the man standing there and said, "I want to make something for Brains when she wakes up."
Heathcliff nodded and walked up next to him, he started pulling down food ingredients. "No, i want to make it myself… but to be honest i don't know what to make."
The butler pointed to a box of spaghetti noodles, "No, i don't think she would want spaghetti, got anything else?"
He pointed to a box of macaroni and cheese. Fred glanced through the panty one last time, "fine, it doesn't look like there's anything else anyway." He grabbed the box and read through the instructions as Heathcliff smiled and walked out of the kitchen.
Brains woke up to the smell of cheese wafting through the air, she open her eyes to see Heathcliff dusting a vase on the other side of the room she was in. "Hi Heathcliff. Wheres Fred?"
Heathcliff turned on his heels and nodded toward a closed door right next to himself. She smiled and attempted to stand, her legs wobbled nearly causing her to fall. But she managed to hold her balance, she walked up to the door and pushed it open. Fred stood over a pot on a stove that appeared to be on. Might not be the best idea to sneak up on him right now. "Hey Fred."
Fred still jumped, but probably much less than if she would have said it right next to him. He spun around, Brains was leaning against the doorway. "You awake, good. I hope you're hungry because i'm making mac and cheese."
She smiled, "Of course i'm hungry i've been asleep for… how long have i been asleep for?"
Fred pulled out his phone and looked at the clock. "Roughly a day."
Her eyes widened and her jaw dropped slightly, "a whole day."
"Yep."
"Well… how long till the foods done, i'm starving." She smiled again.
He smiled back, "not very long, couple minutes maybe."
"We can talk more than, mind if i use your shower?"
Freds cheeks burned red, "Ya… sure… i-i mean ya. Down the hall, third door on your right." He stammered like a fish out of water.
Brains gave a slight giggle, "Calm down, its not like i asked you to join me." Freds face grew a few shades darker. "Unless you want to." Her eyes seaming to try and seduce him in a glance.
"i-i i…" Brains laughed and walked away to let Fred finish cooking.
Yep thats it expect more tomorrow.
