Pain. It filled Hiros body like a tidal wave. At first it was just a little prick, like a doctor giving him a shot. Than when he looked down and saw the crimson blood flowing through the jet black fabric pain exploded through his whole body. His legs slowly gave out and he slowly slide to the ground, using Gogos body as a support, her loose grip not able to hold him up right.

Everyone else stood in stunned silence, unable to move. Paralyzed by fear, and distracted by the scream of pain that ripped the silence to shreds. Gogo was the first the recover, she dropped to her knees and looked Hiro over, a bullet hole dead center of his chest bled profusely, she grabbed Hiros hand, giving it a small squeeze. "Hiro no, no, no please." She was met by a weak squeeze from Hiros hand. "Its going to be a ok." She pressed her hands onto the wound to attempt to stem the bleeding that would kill him soon. The sound of foot steps tore her eyes up from the bleeding boy at her knees.

Honey Lemon and Brains were running in the direction that Krei and Abigail seemed to have disappeared off to, while Fred and Wasabi were running up to her. "We got to get that suit off him and get him to a hospital. There's nothing i can do if the bullets still inside him." Wasabi told them as he bent down and grabbed the neck of the suit, then tore it open. Earning a grunt of pain and a small scream from Hiro. "Sorry little buddy but it had to be done. No slip ups on the secret identities." He then gingerly lifted the boy into a sitting position, he examined his back and saw that there was no exit wound. "The bullets still inside him, we have to get him to a hospital now."

But Hiro never heard the reply, for something pushed against his chest again and another wave of pain exploded through his body like a wave crashing down on a beach. So much pain that Hiros mind couldn't take it anymore and did the one thing that it knew would stop the pain, it passed out.

Hiros eyes opened to a large white room, a dull pain emanating from his chest. He sat up from the bed that he awoke on, looking around he saw a dresser, a bookshelf with a few books on it, and in stark contrast to the rest of the room a large table sat just a few feet from him. It looked to be made of some kind of wood, around it were four chairs evenly placed in a circle. All of them but one were occupied.

The head of the table was empty (Presumably for Hiro to sit in.), on its left sat a man, brown hair, deep brown eyes. He looked to be in his forties, and he looked very familiar. Across from him sat a women, long brown hair that flowed smoothly to her mid back, her eyes also brown but much darker than the mans, she also looked to be in her forties, and yet still familiar. At the opposite end from the empty seat sat a face that looked no different from the last time he saw it.

At the other end of the table sat Tadashi Hamada, his face bright with happiness and his dark brown eyes glowing with anticipation. he wore his normal attire, jeans and a gray tee shirt with a black jacket over it. He hadn't changed a bit since Hiro last saw him, and before he anyone knew it Hiro had Tadashi wrapped up in a huge hug, shouting his name.

"I know you missed me knucklehead, but i'm not the only one here who missed you. Hiro, i know its been 14 years, but… meet mom and dad."

Hiro slowly turned, the man and women had stood up and approached him, tears streamed down his moms cheeks as they embraced, his father placed a hand on his shoulder and gave him a large smile, "it's been awhile since i could talk to you son, but don't think that we haven't been watching you. You have done some amazing things, we are so proud of you and love you with every ounce of our hearts." His father's voice was strong and manly, it had a tinge of an accent from somewhere Hiro didn't know.

"I've missed all of you so much. I love you all too." Tears streamed down Hiros cheeks like a waterfall. There was nothing he could do to stop them, he turned back to Tadashi and tried to wipe away the tears. "We got Callaghan. I made these super suits and we captured Callaghan, now we're all super heroes, even Beymax. Oh and i'm dating Gogo!"

His brother rubbed his head, "We know Hiro, we can see what goes on down there from here, and can i say that i'm not surprised. I don't know why, but i had a feeling you two might ignore the age difference and start dating. I'm happy for you guys, Gogo needed a guy who wasn't a complete tool like her last few boyfriends." He cast his eyes at the ground, "we were very close to having her at this table with us. If she would have been knocked a mere inch to the right, she would have died on impact."

"Hiro," it was his mom who spoke next, her voice was soft and soothing, a lot like Honey Lemons without the accent. "You can tell us all about it later, right now you have a decision to make." She gave him a wide grin.

"What do you mean?" He looked between his family with a confused look.

"Your condition, i hate that word, you got shot in the chest for Christ sake, oh i'm ranting. Anyway your condition on earth is not yet bad enough for us to take you, you have to make a choice to either stay here, or go back to earth and live the rest of your life. Than when you die of another cause, be it natural or not, you'll come right back here to us."

Hiro took a few steps back, "i have to choose my family or my friends and life!? no no i can't make this decision. I want both, i want you guys back in my life!"

His father walked up to him and dropped to one knee. "Hiro it's been too long for us, our bodies have degenerated. Your mother and i never got this option, we died to fast for there to have been a choice to make, same with your brother. But right when he got here he wanted to go back, he did. He couldn't leave you in good heart if he had the choice, but he didn't. There was nothing he could do to come back."

He looked between the faces that watched him, waiting for his decision. "Tadashi what do i do?! I don't want to leave you guys, but Gogo and everyone else. What about Aunt Cass!? She can't lose both of us."

"Than go home, we will still be here when you get back. It's up to you what you must do, none of us can tell you what to do in this decision."

"How long do i have to make my choice?"

"About 20 minutes." Tadashi rubbed the back of his neck.

"Fine." He walked to the bed and layed down, his mind filling with images of his friends, of his inventions, of his brother and the amazing things they did together, of Aunt Cass and her spicy wings. All this for 20 minutes.

Until "Hiro, i'm sorry but your out of time." His mother spoke to him in her soft and soothing voice.

"I'm going back. I can't leave them back there with nothing."

"Than that's what you decide. Don't worry we won't be going anywhere, we'll always be here." His mother wrapped him into a hug. Than his father joined in as well as Tadashi.

"Good bye son, we're going to miss you."

"You'll do great bonehead, you remember i said that anytime you think that stuff is not going your way. Remember to treat Gogo well, she loves you just as much as you love her. One last thing, would you never go all vigilante again, it's too dramatic. You seemed like a kid who had a piece of candy stolen. Also Aunt Cass knows, about you being the big hero 6, good luck and love you!"

"Now just lay down on the bed and you'll wake up back in your body." His mother tried to hold back tears, but despite her effort they flowed free down her cheeks.

Hiro got into potion, but a new voice filled the room. "Wait! Can you relay a message?" Hiro sat up and looked at a small black haired boy, he looked really familiar. "I'm leikos brother, remember me? Anyway can you tell her that she did everything she could, and that there was nothing she could have done to save me. She's been sad about it recently." Hiro gave him a smile and nodded. Than got back into position and closed his eyes.
