I'm back. Hope everyone is enjoying their weekend and in some people's cases the spring break? I know I am. Thanks for reading this.

Stars15963: That song does fit that chapter. This one is more happy though. But I mean it's not sunshine and rainbows yet. Thanks.

I was sitting underneath Thalia's tree when I saw them. Centaurs, their horse half being a light tan and they had horns sticking out from their head. There were five of them. Each carrying a large bow. I had stood up when I saw them and had stepped on a twig causing it to break.

The noise caused them to look at me. They slowly nudged each other. Grinning one notched an arrow. I slowly started to back away. Something told me these Centaurs weren't part of the party ponies.

Then he drew back the string. Three steps back, and then he released it. The arrow flung towards me but stopped at the barrier. The centaurs frowned. I took the chance as they looked sadly at each other and away from me to run back to camp.

I ran to the big house where Chiron was sitting on the porch. He quickly stood up when he saw me run in.

"Clair?" He said softly but worriedly. "What is it?"

"There were Centaurs with weird horns in their heads. They were outside the border. One tried to shoot me." I said as quickly as possible.

"Show me." He said quickly and I took off running and he followed me quickly. When I got back they hand barely moved. Probably were waiting for me to come back.

They examined Chiron closely. Then they looked at me again with eyes bloodshot.

"Clair, you need to start staying away from the border. These are Roman centaurs." He says slowly backing away still looking at them.

As soon as we were out of earshot and eye sight of them I asked, "What does it mean if they tried to kill me?"

"It means you're enough Roman demigod for them to smell you. I'm willing to say you are the daughter of a demigod." I nod slowly, processing this information.

"When you were little, was there particular stories your mother told you?" He asked.

I frowned, thinking. "Cupid she really liked Cupid.

" She's probably a Daughter of Venus or Mars then. " He said. "Venus couldn't be bad"

I just nodded. This made my brother Roman. Then it came flashing back to me.

I was seven again. I was in a small hallway, sitting in a chair watching my mother as she read over some papers. Suddenly door flew open on the other side of the hallway. Three boys walked over. The two taller ones had dark hair. Whereas the third had bright blonde hair.

I was seeing this from someone else's eyes. As if there was an invisible person there and this was their memory.

"Matt!" I shrieked and jumped off the chair and started running towards him. He moved forward in front of his friends and knelled so when I ran into him.

When I reached him he pulled me up into his arms and stood up with my arms around his neck. He was holding me against his hips.

"Hello Clair. Did you miss me?" he said happily and I nodded vigorously at the last sentence.

"How about me? Did you miss me Clair?" The blonde one said. I frowned and drew my head back away from him.

They all a laughed and I grinned for being able to make my brother both smile and laugh.

Suddenly another man walked in and asked ," What is so funny boys?" He smiled at them much like ones father would.

"Father this is my little sister, Clair." Matt said.

I bowed my head from Matt's arms and then when I looked up said, " It's a pleasure to meet you, sir."

My mother walked down and set her hands on Matt's shoulders. She had a forced smile. The man was grimacing at me. As one might at a cute but annoying bug.

" Mars, it's good to see you." She said forcing a larger smile.

"May I speak to you alone, Sylvia?"

She nodded before saying, "Matt watch your sister for a moment I need to talk to your father."

Then I sat up. Will Solstice was above me the moment I sat up. He presses a cool rag to my forehead and calmly but sternly said, "Lie back down you'll cause headaches if you do that too often."

"Go get Chiron and tell him she's awake." He called to one of his siblings.

"Can I get water?" I said as I carefully lied back down. He nodded and put a straw in my mouth.

I drank a few gulps then thanked him. Then he pressed another straw to my lips. "Two small sips, remember small." He said slowly punctuating small each time.

I sipped once and I could taste vanilla ice cream. Not those bad ones mortals produce. The kind that is freshly made, still fresh and cold. I took another small sip then. Let Will take it.

Then Chiron came in. Will left and then he said, "What was it about?"

"I was seven and I was sitting with my mom in a hallway. Then my brother came in and I ran up to hug him. He was holding me and then The Roman God, I think he was Roman. Anyways Mars came in saw my brother then me then went to talk to my mom. "I said quickly.

"So your mother is close to the Roman gods." He said nodding.

"Oh yeah Matt called him father." I said waiting for Chiron's reaction.

"Well that takes us back a step. You may be a legacy or you might not be. We still have no way of proving anything." Chiron said looking down at the blanket covering his fake legs.

"Well What about the Roman Centaurs? Didn't they prove it?" I asked.

"They proved you might have been around Roman Demigods. If you ever had blood donated to you from your brother or if your mother is a demigod. I'll we can prove is that you are related to at least one Roman demigod.

That night my dreams repeated that event over and over again. The ending always changed though. Sometimes a monster popped out and then it would repeat other times mother came out.

Thanks for reading. Hope you liked it. I'm hoping to write and post the chapter by next Sunday. No guaranties though. Bye
