Thank you for all reading this. hope you like this one also. Sorry if I'm posting t o soon, I'm just really excited and am a few chapters ahead of posting. The next chapter is the battle.

I don't own the Percy Jackson series, Unfortunately Rick Riordan does.

It was a bright sunny day when the Romans first started pushing forward. They didn't move their camp closer. Just the catapults and the war elephant was walking closer to the barrier. The barrier protected us from monsters, but these were demigods. They weren't monsters.

Octavian had proved to be in charge and in sane. He wanted us all dead. So I also heard the story of what happened at New Rome. Both stories clicked together like pieces of a puzzle. Anyways Octavian wanted revenge really bad. When Chiron tried to talk peace with him it ended badly.

Over all the gods were still ignoring us. I hadn't heard my father since that dream. Eros hadn't talked to me either.

However he did leave a bow on my bed. The right size for me, black with carving spelling Death in Greek all over it. The quiver was full of arrows that black tips and feathers but there was nothing special about the. There was also a note with his signature.

I was sitting in my usual spot watching Owen when it happened. He was practicing using his sword, mid air with no opponent

He was flying a little too. Then the Matt came out. He watched till Owen stopped. Then Owen said as he started cleaning his sword, "I believe you were going to tell me why I haven't seen Clair in years."

"I did say I would tell you." Matt came down and sat by Owen. They were about ten feet from the forest so they would hear my reaction if I did anything.

"So what happened to my best friend?" he said. I drew in a breath. If this was Matt, then what was the chance that I was the person they were talking about.

" My mom dropped me off at Camp Jupiter and was gone for only twenty minutes." He started and Owen started to get comfortable.

" She was just gone. The mist covered it up for the mortal, making them think that my mother had been gone for a week. The put Clair in the foster Care system. Even the demigods running couldn't find her. By the time it reached everyone she was just completely gone. No trace at all of where she went." Matt said putting his head down.

"I wasn't supposed to go to Camp for another day, but I told my mom I wanted to go earlier." He said his shoulders sagging, " If I had stayed one day later she would have come with to drop me off."

"I'm sure she's doing just fine in the Mortal world. She's only a legacy after all." Owen said trying to lift his spirits.

"Yeah, I guess." He said playing with a small gold knife.

"Not to make this conversation any more depressing, but how can you follow Octavian's plan. If we were to take over we could go through the camp and make sure Clair wasn't part of it." He said.

" And she come leaping back into our arms. She wouldn't come back with us. She'd want to stay with her little buddies. Better I didn't know she was here at all." He said sadly.

" I remember the first time I met her we were picking up, Alex, Taylor,Christopher, Samuel, and Nathaniel. Cesar and I were to young to go to camp yet. We were sitting in a room and she was sitting across from me. I was trying to get him to play cards with me. Cesar refused and then she asked if she could play." He smiled and leaned back into the grass.

"Yeah. Whenever we're here I feel like someone is watching us? Do you feel it?" Matt asked.

"Yeah but it's kinda comforting." Owen said.

"You're weird." Matt said pushing Owen's shoulder.

"Matt, Owen come on. Octavian called a meeting." A boy called to them. They got up and ran towards him. I silently made my way back to camp.

It was a miracle that I hadn't accidentally been spotted, or ran into the Roman cyclopes or centaurs.

I had been finding memories recently that I hadn't remembered before. Lots were about Mars. Something about him being my Grandparent. He seem to visit at least once a year. Matt was a demigod. Son of Apollo, but he was larger due to being a legacy of Mars.

I remember playing in a field with a boy that looked like now if I think about it a younger version of Owen. But I could just be I wanted it to be him.

Clarisse was busy training everyone last minute for when the Romans attacked. Chiron had stressed how much responsibility was on me to keep Owen busy if they were to attack. Armor was made so that I could fly easily in it. It was made as lightweight as possible, the only problem was to make it as lightweight as possible was hard because making it lighter took away from the areas it was protecting me from.

Guards were left at twelve spots in groups to warn us if the Romans moved closer or began their attack

I was always positioned in an almost treeless area. The farthest away from Camp. If they came closer I could fly faster than anyone could run.

I don't fight. If it really Matt, my brother. What do I do? Turn away from the people that have been protecting me in my worst years or go to my family? Nico is gone, the seven is gone. I don't think I'll ever talk to Mark again or at least till I'm around twenty five.

What would have happened if I went with my mother that day? Would I ever know I was a child of a greek god. Would the Greeks and Romans ever meet again. Or would we have fought the war on separate sides just like the second titan war?

Hope you liked it. I want to post the next chapter tomorrow. I probably will. Thanks again for reading. Anything that should happen or anything that is confusing, just tell me in a review or message me. Thanks-Tyme
