It was mid Wednesday. I was with Jason and Percy they were both sparing. Then Owen came up to me.
"Hey Clair." He said coolly. His hair wasn't sticking up but it wasn't fully combed either.
"Hi Owen." I giggled.
"I was wondering if you'd like to go on a date with me tonight?" He asked.
"I'd love to." I gushed blushing.
He smiled and leaned forward to kiss my cheek when he showed up. Cupid didn't look any different.
"Owen" He scowled not breaking eye contact with me. "What in the name of the major gods are you doing?"
"I was simply saying hello Father." He croaked out timidly.
"Your brothers are waiting Owen." He said coldly.
"Yes father. Goodbye Clair." He looked into my eyes and I knew he was going to see me tonight.
"Yes, goodbye Clair." He put a hand on the back of Owen's neck and led him around the corner. I followed him into an alley and hid well eavesdropping on their conversation.
"Why can't you just be a good boy and do as I say." Cupid's voice was melodious and fatherly.
I cautiously peeked out. Owen was looking up at his father, who was leaning over him, with his arms crossed.
"I don't see anything wrong with her." He objected.
"Her brother killed your oldest half-brother." Cupid cried.
"Yeah her older brother who I can guarantee has never come in contact with Clair. Just because he did something doesn't mean Clair will." He defended
" I know. " Cupid admitted, "I just couldn't bear to see you get hurt." He wrapped his arms around his son. Owen didn't look happy at all.
"Please for me and your brothers." Cupid's face was almost irresistible, I almost felt bad for him, key word being almost.
Owen scuffed. Cupid's eyes bulged. "Father what has she done to prove she is any harm. Give her one chance, please." Owen looked up eyes wide.
Cupid shuffled his feet. He tried to look anywhere but sighed. "Fine, but if she does one thing you break up with her. When's your next date?" He confessed.
"Tonight." Owen beamed.
I quickly and quietly snuck back to the arena and continued to watch Jason. Only two minutes passed before Owen had come came up and wrapped an arm around my waist. I forced myself to look surprised and slightly worried.
"I got my father to at least accept that fact that I'm going on a date with you." He beamed. I smiled. "I'll pick you up around sunset. Is that Ok?"
I nodded and he grinned. "Well bye." He said. I leaned forward and kissed his cheek. He then ran off. Probably back to his father.
"What do you know." Jason laughed. "Their on their second date."
"Oh, shut up Jason." I scuffed blushing.
time skip.
I finished getting ready by pulling my hair back into a high ponytail. I had a little bit of make up. I was wearing jeans and a running jacket with slits in the back for my wings.
Then Owen knocked on the door.I swiftly opened it. Owen smiled at me. Then said, "Hello Clair." He was carrying a picnic basket and on top of it was a blanket.
He lead me down to the fields of mars. Then from there to a a nice spot of grass. He spread the blanket down and I sat down on it. He did the same thing, then he opened the basket and handed me an apple and a bowl of caramel.
I smiled and said, "Thank you."
Sorry about the longer delay than usual. I have a giant school project due soon and I've got seasonal allergies, so writing has been hard.
Stars15963: That one is my favorite chapter. I got to write fluff :)
I don't own the Percy Jackson series.
Then I looked up and gasped. You could see all these stars. It was gorgeous. Owen took the apple from me and cut it up. Then he handed it back. I munched on the apple well dipping it into the caramel.
Then when I was almost finished Owen pulled me onto my feet. He looked angelic and gorgeous. The stars lit his hair perfectly and made his eyes glow sweetly. His wings glowed a little from the stars light. He grabbed my hand and pulled me into a run. Then he let go and jumped into the air. He drifted up about ten feet and then began to circle waiting for me.
I followed him and jumped up. He met me at seven feet up. Then he sprung even higher. I followed him. We began to hover around fifty feet off the ground. Then I moved forward as he did. I wrapped my arms around his neck. Rhythmically beating my wings with his. His going back when mine went in and vise versa.
He then wrapped his arms around my waist. "Does this make you my girlfriend?" He asked.
"I'd like to be." I giggled.
"Then it is done." He grinned and then leaned in. His lips still tasted like caramel. I kissed him back and closed my eyes.
A minute later we both broke away. "As much as I'd like to continue, I can't stay in the air any longer." Owen panted.
I followed him back to the blanket. I lied down and he did the same right next me.
Ten minutes passed as we just lied there and look at the stars. Then Owen said, "When are you going to come back?"
I watched the sky as I said, "I'm think I'm going to go back to Camp Half-Blood get my stuff and then move in with Matt."
"That sounds nice." Owen said smiling. He sat up and pulled me onto his lap. He then pulled out my ponytail and began to braid it. I closed my eyes happily.
Then half an hour later we both stood up and I helped him fold up the blanket. Then we walked hand in hand slowly back to where I was staying with the other Greeks.
We walked down the hallway and stopped at my door.
"Thank you for tonight." I blushed.
"No, thank you." Owen said taking my hand and kissing it.
"Bye, I'll see you soon." I giggled and leaned forward and pecked his lips before slipping into my room. I smiled.
Thank you for reading. I Phobos and Deimos might be in the next chapter and then after that one, there is only one left of Clair being Fifteen. Then the chapters will probably be about Clair when she is around twenty one.
Thanks again for reading-Tyme
