Chapter 3
Alex's Point of View
Waking up I was disorientated and confused. I was in a dark room but I wasn't tied up, instead I was on a bed with water and a sandwich beside me. However I wasn't exactly hungry so I made my way over to the door and started pounding on it. Seconds later it opened.
"Who are you?" I hissed at the tall man who appeared.
"I get to ask the first question." He replied as he closed the door behind him.
He clearly saw me eyeing the door and trying to weigh up my options.
"Try and escape and I will hurt you, and that isn't what I want to do." He stated.
"Really then why was I kidnapped?" I questioned.
"I didn't have any other option. Now it's my turn. How do you know Erin?" He asked.
"What?" I asked confused.
"Erin Lindsay I saw her with you." He replied.
"Why do you want to know about Erin?" I questioned.
This seemed to annoy him. He grabbed me roughly by the arm and gave me a shove towards the wall. Once he had me held firmly against it he spoke again.
"I said I was the one asking questions." He whispered angrily into my ear.
"You also said you didn't want to hurt me. It didn't take long!" I complained as pain spread up my arms.
He gave an angry sigh before releasing me.
"Just answer the question and I wont." He told me.
"Are you planning on hurting her?" I asked.
"What no, I just need to see her, talk to her." He said.
I couldn't tell if he was lying.
"Fine. She's my mom." I said praying this would help me figure out who he was.
"Your mom?" The man asked, clearly not convinced.
I nodded in confirmation.
"Oh well this complicates things." He sighed as he ran his hand threw his hair.
"Who are you? Why does this complicate things?" I asked getting annoyed by his lack of information.
"Because dear, Erin is my daughter which makes you my granddaughter." He smirked.
"Excuse me?" I gasped.
However he ignored me, instead calling in one of his men.
"Change of plans, I need Erin brought here to me. We can't use this girl for a message after all." He ordered.
"Brought here? What the hell are you planning?" I yelled.
The man, Erin's father, my grandfather just smirked.
"See you soon granddaughter." He whispered as he closed the door leaving me alone yet again.
Erin's Point of View
After a heated argument with Bunny I stormed out of her office. I could hear her following me but I chose to ignore the fact. Once outside I expected to see Alex waiting by the car where I had left her, but she wasn't. I assumed she had got cold and got back into the car however when I opened the door it was empty.
"Alex?" I called out but got no response.
"Alex come on we have to go!" I complained.
It wasn't until I saw her smashed phone on the pavement that I knew something was seriously wrong. I immediately pulled out my phone and called Voight.
"Erin what's wrong?" Bunny asked as she appeared by my side.
I ignored her as Voight answered.
"Hank I need you guys here. I am at Bunny's office something happened Alex. Please hurry!" I cried.
"We will be there soon." Voight assured as he ended the call.
"Something happened Alex?" Bunny questioned.
I turned to look at her and I knew, I just knew she was somehow involved.
"Please tell me this isn't because of you!" I hissed.
"Why would you say that?" Bunny whispered but I could tell she was lying.
"Mother I need you to tell me who is responsible for this!" I roared.
"I….I…don't know Erin." She stuttered.
I glared at her but before I could say anything a black Van pulled up. Two men holding guns jumped out.
"Get in the van and I wont hurt you. Object and I will send word to kill your daughter." One of the men ordered.
I thought about fighting back but if what he was saying was true I couldn't risk Alex's life. So reluctantly I allowed them to shove Bunny and myself into the van, taking my gun as they did. Once they had us in the van they used chloroform to render us unconscious. By the time I awoke I was tied to a chair in a dark room.
As I looked around my new surroundings I was relived to see Alex staring back at me, she too was tied to a chair. Bunny was behind me still out of it.
"Hi." She mumbled as I managed a weak smile.
"Only back and already in trouble?" I laughed, trying to lighten the mood.
"Not the time mom." Alex sighed.
"I know sorry. Are you ok? Did they hurt you?" I asked concerned about her safety more so now given her situation.
"I'm fine they didn't hurt me, only tied me up when they arrived back with you two." She explained.
"Do you know who is behind this?" I asked.
"Your dad apparently." Alex told me.
"What?" I yelled causing Bunny to jump awake.
"W-W-Where are we?" She cried.
"In another one of your messes." I said sarcastically.
"How exactly is this my fault?" She argued.
"How is this you fault? Everything is your fault!" I hissed.
"Guys shut up!" Alex yelled as the door opened.
"I knew I should have gagged you." A man I didn't recognise smiled.
"Hello Bunny, Erin." He added.
"Neal?" Bunny whispered, in either shock or fear I couldn't tell.
"I thought it was time for a family reunion. Don't you agree?"….
Until next time ;-)
