"Hey," Carter peeked her head into Tony's lab, where Tony and Bruce were waiting for her, "you guys wanted to talk?"

"Yeah," Bruce nodded.

Tony gestured for her to come in.

She entered and went to sit on a computer chair near them. Carter twirled casually in her chair and shook her thoughts away. "What did you want to talk about?"

Tony hooked a foot underneath her chair and rolled it closer, poked her in the ribs, and pushed it flying across the room.

Bruce caught the chair and spun her around once more.

"We've made some pretty cool friends and we got some vibranium out of it." Tony held up a small glass box with a metallic lump in it. "We can suppress your powers, Carter."

"We just need to know if you want us to," Bruce finished.

Carter thought for a moment. "Yeah... I think I'd like that."

"Really?" Tony asked, kinda shocked.

"Yeah, I mean, it was kinda fun at first, but now I'd kinda just like to be normal again." She smiled slightly.

Tony opened his mouth to say something, looked to Bruce, and shut it again.

"You're sure?" Bruce asked. "Once we do this, there's no going back. The vibranium in your blood will counteract the serum Parks used."

Carter nodded. "Yeah, I'm sure."

The scientist and the mechanic nodded to each other.

"Okay, that's that then. Give us a little while to get our counter serum together," Tony said.

Bruce put a hand on Carter's arm and she felt something wet there and made a face.

"Hey Carter!" Tony said way too loudly. "What do you call a fish with no eyes?"

Carter narrowed her eyes at him, and then felt a prick in her arm. "Hey!"

When she turned, her dad was already backing away with a vial of blood.

"Did you just-"

"Yes," Tony answered with a nod. "Run along now, we're going to play with your blood."

Carter shook her head, "Whatever, I'm going to hang out with Laynie and James."

"Have fun," Bruce called distractedly. "A fish with no eyes?" Carter heard him ask on her way out.

"Fshh," Tony replied, cracking up afterward.

Carter rolled her eyes as she stepped onto the elevator. She was pretty elated at the prospect of being something similar to normal again. The powers were cool, but they were a burden and a worry too. She didn't have the time or the heart to deal with them, which was precisely why she thanked the universe Bruce and Tony were geniuses. It would be nice to forget the whole ordeal never happened... And just be Carter again.

Author's Notes:

Lartovio: HI! It me! Sorry we've been so spotty with the updates guys! Next chapter is the last one, and we're already working on the next fic! It's going to be our best fic yet, even better than the first one I think. It includes two new Marvel Universe characters (which are, unfortunately, not Avengers. Though we are working on incorporating the more recent movies into our little universe.)

I want to personally thank all of you for being so awesome. It's hard to think that we do this in our down time and so many people from so many places read it! It makes us feel pretty special. Thanks guys 3

WayToDawn: Here's another update you lovely people. I hope you enjoy it! Next chapter, is the last for this fic and then onto the next one. :) Thanks for all the follows, favorites, and reviews. We'll update again soon.
