Gray yawned as he slumped on the couch. The house was very silent, the only thing he can hear is Juvia's distant humming in the bedroom. Gray frowned. He was quickly reminded that Juvia, along with Lucy and Levy will go out bonding or something. He was annoyed because he had to take care of the house while she is gone. And what's worse? It's freaking Halloween. Annoying children will constantly knock on your door to ask for candies and all Gray wanted was to rest.
Just then, Juvia went out of their bedroom while fixing her hair. Gray can't help but notice how stunning she looks in her dress. She wore a simple blue dress that compliments her eyes. And he loved the way she let her hair flow down naturally on her shoulders.
It seems like he didn't want her to leave this house and instead push her back in the bedroom.
"Gray-sama, how do I look?" Juvia said with a smile on her face. Gray smiled back at his wife. Damn, how can she be so cute?
"You look good, Juvia" Gray said, much to the bluenette's delight.
"Really? Gray-sama likes my dress! Juvia will start to wear this more often!" Juvia said as she wrapped her husband in a tight hug. Gray struggled to breathe, but he didn't mind since he likes it when Juvia hugs him like this.
"Oi, oi. Do you really have to go? I mean, Lucy and Levy can go together without you…" Gray mumbled, his cheeks were turning a bit red since it was kind of embarrassing for him to ask Juvia to stay at home.
Juvia looked up at Gray and smiled warmly at him.
"Gray-sama, Juvia would like to stay at home tonight. But Juvia promised Lucy-san and Levy-san that she will accompany them, they have been planning this for a long time. And well, Juvia somehow wishes to spend time with them too"
Gray sighed. Well, he had all the time in the world to be with his wife. Giving her some time with her friends wouldn't hurt.
"Alright. But if you can go home earlier, I would be very happy" Gray mumbled and Juvia gave him a kiss on his cheek.
"Thank you, Gray-sama" Juvia said as she walked to the door. Before leaving, Juvia said to him:
"Gray-sama, Silver needs to be fed. I know that you can take care of him while I'm gone" Juvia smiled before she left.
Gray rubbed his temples. He forgot for a brief moment that he has a baby to take care of while Juvia's away. He wasn't really good at babies, he just wants to play with them, that's all.
He walked to his son's bedroom, and he saw his son wide awake. Silver was chewing the tail of his shark stuffed toy and Gray chuckled. Silver paused when he saw his father staring at him. Gray walked over him and took him in his arms.
"You know, your mom doesn't have to tell me that you are already hungry. Come on, let's get you something to eat" Gray said he watched Silver throw his stuffed toy on the crib and gave him a toothy grin.
Gray set him on his high chair once they reached the kitchen. He took something out of the fridge, a cooled bowl of mashed pumpkin. Gray was wondering if Juvia was serious about feeding Silver pumpkins. Sure, it's healthy, but Gray isn't really fond of eating it.
"Are you good with yucky vegetabes, Silver?" Gray asked and Silver just smiled happily and reached out his tiny hands to Gray.
"I'll take that as a yes. So, should I heat this or not?" Gray wondered but then pushed the idea of heating the food. He took a spoon and sat on the chair facing his son. With the spoon in his hand, he scooped an adequate amount of food on the spoon.
"Say ahh" Gray said and he slowly pushed the spoon in the baby's mouth before pulling it away.
Gray smiled victoriously since he was able to feed his son without any mess at all. And then, he heard the doorbell ring.
Gray sighed as he put the spoon down.
"I'll be back soon, Silver. I'll just deal with some kids"
Gray approached the door and opened it. He looked down, hoping to see your average kid. But no, it wasn't what he was expecting.
"Mr. Fullbuster! Trick or treat!" Seira Fernandez said sternly. And Gray raised his brow. How on earth can this girl lift to heavy sacks of candy that's almost twice her own size? And he was wondering if she was serious about her costume, wearing an armor and having a real sword strapped to her waist.
"Hey, shouldn't your costume be that of a princess or something? You're a girl you know" Gray asked and Seira seemed to have realized something.
"Damn, I was too fixated on the competition that I missed out on the big picture!" Seira said and Gray raised his brow.
"What do you mean-"
"The reason why I wasn't getting enough candy is because of my costume! I should've known!" Seira cried out
"Oi kid, what the hell do you mean by 'not getting enough candy'? It seems like you broke through a candy factory and stole their candy" Gray said and Seira looked at him, her eyes burning with determination.
"If I change my costume, would you give me more candy?!" Seira asked and Gray rolled his eyes.
"Look kid, it doesn't matter because I'm keeping all the candy to myself, okay? Besides, you have a 5-month worth of candy you can eat with sacks twice your own size" Gray said, and in a blink of an eye, Seira already requipped her costume into a pink princess gown. And she summoned a sword and pointed it at Gray's throat.
"Give me your candy, or else I'll cut your head off!" Seira threatened and Gray knew that this kid is definitely Erza's girl.
"Woah, woah, I'm just kidding! Here's your fucking candies" Gray handed Seira a small pouch of candy and Seira's sword vanished. She now wore a wide smile.
"Thank you, sir! It seems like your suggestions were quite effective!" Seira said as she ran to the next house with her sacks of candy. Gray raised his brow at the girl.
Seira said something about a competition, perhaps that's the reason why she's so desperate in getting candies?
"It's not like I care or something" Gray said to himself. He knew it was going to be a long night for all of them. Especially if there is a young girl wearing a princess gown and threatens you in order to get some candy if she comes across your home for Trick or Treat.
Gray shut the door behind him.
"Glad that's over. Now, back to Silver"
As soon as Gray reached the kitchen, his mouth hung open when he saw Silver completely covered with his food.
"Ah fuck, my night gets better and better" Gray said as he took Silver in his arms and brought him in the bathroom.
Gray open the faucet and filled the bathtub with warm water. It was just the beginning of this long night, and yet he was already worn out. He was about to turn to remove Silver's clothes, but then he realized that it was already gone.
"What the- Where the hell did your clothes go?! Nevermind, that's the least of my problems. Here you go" Gray gently placed the baby in the tub. He reached out for the shampoo and then he heard another doorbell, much to Gray's chagrin.
"Wait here, Silver. I'll just get the door" Gray said, clearly annoyed.
When Gray reached out and opened their front door, he saw a boy wearing a black shirt with a skeleton print on it. And the boy's eyes were bored as ever.
"Trick or treat, bitch" Levin Dreyar muttered. And Gray was not amused.
"Your tongue's quite sharp for a 5-year old" Gray said and Levin rolled his eyes.
"Aren't you too old to be wearing your birthday suit?" Levin said passively and Gray looked down only to see his boxers on the floor. Gray put them on in record time.
"And you should at least put more enthusiasm, you know" Gray pointed out and Levin repeated again.
"Trick or treat, fucker" Levin said falsely trying to be enthusiastic.
"Okay, stop. Just stop. No seriously, what do you want? I know you don't want candy" Gray looked at the blonde in front of him.
"What makes you think that?"
"Well, you're an asshole at a very young age" Gray stated, "And if ever you need candy, you don't need to ask me anymore. Your sacks are bigger than Seira's"
Levin looked at his sacks before looking back at Gray.
"Fair enough. Seira's been running around for candy because she wants to have more candy than me. It's her makeshift competition that I do not give any fucks with"
"Oh so that's why she's so desperate"
"I'll tell you the truth, stripper. These bags doesn't carry candies, but they carry the bodies of those people who didn't-" Gray threw the candies at Levin's face before shutting the door and locking it.
Gray knew that kid was mad, and twisted. Well, what can he expect? The kid was a combination of Laxus Dreyar and Mirajane Strauss! He knew Levin was messing around but there is this slightest possibility that bodies are stored inside that sack.
"I might be overthinking things…" Gray said to himself
"Oi, thanks for the treat! I'm just kidding about the bodies" he heard the young Dreyar behind the door.
"Damned brat. Anyway, I'll have to get back to Silver"
Gray went back to the bathroom, and he was relieved that Silver was sitting there, quietly playing with water.
He continued where he left off. He took the shampoo and put some on his palm. Absentmindedly, he began to wash Silver's hair. He sudden feels like the shampoo was still tacky and he knew that he should be making some foam sooner or later.
"What the hell? I'm sure I just wet your hair!" Gray exclaimed as he stared at his son. He was completely dry, not even a single droplet on him.
Gray stared blankly on his son. He studied his son's blue eyes, and his bright smile.
"Why am I freaking out? Your mom does that all the time" Gray chuckled as he watched his son melt into the water. Yes, his son was now dissolving into water in the bathtub… Wait, what?!
"WHAT?! Hey!" Gray tried to reach out for his son, but his hand slipped past through his water body. And soon Silver disappeared in the water of the tub. Gray was close to losing his mind.
He most definitely can't freeze the tub! And he has no idea how on earth he will find his son in that mass of water. And he must ensure that Silver will not pull the cover of the drain.
He needs Juvia. He definitely needs Juvia.

"Gray-sama! I'm ho-" Juvia stopped when he saw Gray soaked in water with foam on his hair. Silver also sat on the small water basin on Gray's lap, completely dry and was throwing balls of water at his father's face with a wide smile. Gray didn't seem to mind the water slapping on his face.
"Gray-sama-" Juvia began but Gray cut her off.
"It's alright. I was able to figure out how to get him revert back to his normal form from his water body." Gray said as he picked up his son and brought him to Juvia.
"Is Gray-sama alright? Juvia feels bad that he has to go through this. And Juvia should've told him sooner about Silver's abilities" Juvia said as she took Silver in her arms. Gray smirked and placed a hand on his wife's shoulder.
"I'm fine. And it doesn't matter. Besides, I'm quite proud that my son is a strong one. But, I'm quite disappointed that he didn't showcase any Ice Make Magic. Well, we'll get to there soon"
"Juvia's glad that Gray-sama took it well" Juvia smiled
"Yes, I had a rough night though. Two deranged brats came for Trick or Treat and my son gave me a hard time to give him a bath. But, I actually like my night to get rougher after you put Silver to sleep tonight…" Gray smirked and Juvia's face turned red.
"Gray-sama!"
Gray laughed and kissed his wife's forehead.
"I love the both of you" Gray said as his eyes pointed at his son and wife.
"Juvia does too, Gray-sama" Juvia replied with a sweet smile.
"But I'm serious about what I said about tonight"
"Gray-sama!"
