Chapter 12

It wasn't long before the boys pulled up outside the Miller's house.

Alvin beeped the horn and revved the engine, signifying he was ready to go now. Simon glared at him, "Really Alvin, you've only just claimed driving privileges back again, do you really want to push it by revving your engine?"

Alvin looked at him, "If it gets these girls movin', I don't care!" He pressed the horn again;

and was welcomed with a response as the girls began filing out of the house. Jeanette and Eleanor came out the door and made their way into the car – They then noticed a problem, "Uh where's Britt gonna sit?" Jeanette asked, doing up her seatbelt.

Alvin turned around, "Ahh Sh*t...crap she's gonna kill me if I make her sit in with Alex and Steph...or she may like it...hmm"

He didn't have long to think about it when Brittany came strolling down the garden path, just as Alex pulled up in his car behind Alvin's.

She lowered her sunglasses and peered into the full car. With an unamused look on her face, she pushed her sunglasses back up her nose, and popped her hip to the side, "Am I supposed to sit in the trunk? Or lay across everyone's laps? Hmm, Alvin?"

Alvin put the car in neutral, grumbled something under his breath and proceeded to get out of the car. He smiled charmingly and wrapped his arm round Brittany's waist, ushering her, "Look, Britt, babe, there's no room in my car so you'll be riding with Alex and Steph, 'kay?" She dug her heels in and stopped short, looking Alvin in the eyes, "What? Why?"

He put the charms on again and pushed her edgingly closer to the car door, which he also managed to open, "Cause sweety, ya took too long and if we don't get a move on we'll miss the beginning" he then gave a kiss on the cheek and pushed her lovingly into the car. Brittany made an "Eeep!" sound as she somewhat tumbled in.

Alvin closed the door, calling out, "Think of it as the fun car, 'kay? You look gorgeous by the way! Love your effort!" and clambered into the driver's seat, "Ok, we all set? Awesome, let's go".

Driving off, Steph turned round to face Britt, "Don't worry you're in the fun car!" Brittany gave a sarcastic smile, "Yeah with you two smoochin' it up, great! It's not fun yet"

Steph laughed, "Can't kiss and drive Britt, and gimme a minute, we'll make it more funner than Alvin's car" Alex smiled and concentrated on the road ahead, they were coming up to overtaking Alvin and the others, "Funner? Oh hey we're 'bout to pass the others, do something to throw them off, that'll be fun"

Brittany laughed, "Geez it doesn't take much to distract Alvin"

Steph turned back around and looked out the front window, "Hmm...i have an idea" she smiled and faced Brittany again and winked, then shifted her body toward the window. Brittany took a second to register then smiled and shifted her body too.

Alex glanced over to his new found girlfriend and shook his head, "Ah no, you're not are you? Oh sh*t you are!" They came up to the side of Alvin's car, and Alex beeped the horn to grab their attention.

"Oh look, here comes Alex's car" Eleanor said, peering out the window. The others turned their heads to see. Alvin made a glance, so as to not take his eyes off the road for too long, as Alex beeped his horn again. On that beep both Steph and Brittany flashed their bra cladded breasts on the window.

Elearnor burst out laughing.

Simon looked away red, but laughed under his breath, before giving a cough as to the inappropriateness of the situation.

Jeanette was in the middle seat and caught a glimpse before giving a nervous giggle.

Theodore was over the other side and took a while to register, but blushed and looked at Eleanor, then quickly darted his attention out the other window.

Alvin glanced, then turned back to the road, only to shoot another glance again. A smile sweeped across his face as he wound the window down, "WHOO! Give it to me ladies!" He was whooping his arm in the air pretending to reach out to the girls.

Steph and Brittany lowered their tops and laughed hysterically. Alex was still trying very hard not to be overly distracted, but managed to sneak a peek.

Jeanette let out a squeal, as Eleanor gripped the seat, "Uhh Alvin?"

Simon looked quickly at Alvin then the road and managed to quickly straighten the wheel back upo, as Alvin had started to drift over to the other lane, "ALVIN!"

"Oh %$#!" he quickly straightened up and yelled out the window, "Crazy women! Trying to kill me!" then he laughed and rolled the window up.

Simon was not laughing, "Alvin you could've made us crash"

Alvin waved him off, "Ahh all under control"

Jeanette relaxed slightly, "It could've been worse, you need to pay more attention to the road"

Alvin sighed, "Oh geez, yes ma and pa kettle" he indicated toward the parking lot and followed Alex's car to the carpark. As he wound the window down and grabbed the ticket form the machine, he placed it in his teeth and followed the road around, "What was I supposed to do? There were boobs! BOOBS!"

Theodore gave a smirk from the backseat, which Alvin happened to see from the rearview mirror, "Ha, caught you Teddy boy!"

Theodore's face changed as EAlearnor and Jeanette looked at him. Eleanor blushed and smiled.

Simon was looking out the window for a parking space, but his tone of voice was still the same, "Well, you don't look then. I mean it was pretty stupid of Steph and Brittany to do that anyway, but, I think I'll be driving home"

Alvin made a face at him and rolled his eyes before swinging into a spot next to Alex. He stepped out of the car and put he ticket in his pocket, "Man you're such a grandpa"

Simon got out of the car and held his palm up, "Keys Alvin", he cocked his head to the side.

Alex and the girls got out of Alex's car, as Eleanor, Jeanette and Theodore climbed out too; Brittany and Steph were still laughing.

Alvin looked at Simon and rolled his eyes again, throwing the keys over the car to him. Simon caught them in one hand and didn't bat and eye. He smiled triumphantly, "Thank you, at least we'll all get home in one piece now"

He went and held Jeanette's hand and started toward the plaza. Eleanor and Theodore followed suit.

Brittany came and wrapped her arms round Alvin's neck and kissed him, "Aww did Alvie loose his driving privileges?"

Alvin smiled and caught a peek down her top, "It was worth it to see the twins"

She slapped his playfully and wrapped her arm round his waist, as he draped his arm over her shoulder.

Alex shook his head and smiled at Steph, "I am never gonna get bored with you around" and he kissed her lightly on the lips.

Steph smiled back and blushed a little, "Well maybe next time you'll get a show all to yourself hmm?" She slapped him playfully on the butt and started off toward the plaza, following the others.

Once they'd all gotten snacks and drinks and finally decided on what movie to watch, the group filed into the theatre. It was empty inside and so they had the whole theatre to pick from, but Alvin started for the back row, so everyone simply followed and they all sat in a line; Alvin, Brittany, Steph, Alex, Eleanor, Theodore, a spare chair for Theodore's snacks and Jeanette and Simon; and began watching the movie ads and nibbling on popcorn. They were going to watch the movie Simon had chosen, 'Something to do with Love', much to Alvin disappointment. He said loudly "Why the hell did we choose this one for? No-one's here so therefore it must be a sh*t-arse movie" then slumped down in his seat and took a swig of coke.

Simon shushed him from the far end of the line and said, "Because we are. Besides this movie's received great reviews and there's something for everyone, so shut up and enjoy!" Jeanette smiled at Simon and lowered her head on his shoulder gently. Theodore was busy getting through his snacks, as Eleanor wrapped her arm round his middle and nuzzled his cheek. He turned to her and smiled, feeding her a chocolate button. Steph had her feet up on the chair in front of her and was trying to throw popcorn into her own mouth, and then throwing it at Alex for him to catch. "Ah I'm crap at this" she laughed. Simon shushed her. Alex threw a piece up and caught it in his mouth, "Just watch it and catch" he smiled his brilliant smile. Steph looked at him challengingly and smiled, "Ok, I'll try again" she threw a piece up and it bounced off her nose, "Maaww, I can't do it. Here throw one to me, maybe it's my bad aim" Alex smiled and took another piece throwing it gently into her mouth. Steph smiled and chewed on the popcorn kernel, "Ha ha, success!"

Alvin was still pouting and played with the arm of the chair, lifting it up and down. Brittany looked at him and leant over and whispered into Alvin's ear, "You know we don't have to watch the movie to enjoy it you know" Alvin's eyes lit up, he whipped his head to face her. He could feel his heart pumping faster, a huge smile came across his face and he buried himself in Brittany's neck, kissing her playfully. Brittany tried not to make too much noise but let out small squeaks of enjoyment as the movie theatre dimmed and the trailers began to play out.

Steph looked over and nudged Alex, "Look's like someone's getting the action movie he wanted after all"

Alex leant and looked over at Alvin and Brittany, busily making out. He smiled and whispered loudly, "Get a room bro!" Alvin kept kissing Brittany and held a thumbs up.

From further down Simon could hear something happening further up the line, he eant and looked, then sat back and sighed in disbelief, "Oh for the love of, ALVIN" he whispered loudly, "Really?" then he turned to Jeanette and began picking up his snacks and drink, "Come on, I'm not sitting where I can hear this" and he began to make his way to the front of the theatre. Jeanette quickly gathered her things and followed Simon, carefully, down the steps toward the front, thinking to herself, "Well, maybe I'll get more out of Simon if we're alone"

Eleanor noticed Simon and Jeanette's sudden move to the front of the theatre and looked in Alvin and Brittany's direction, realising why they had moved. She nudged Theodore and whispered, "Maybe we should move, if we want to watch the movie too?" Theodore nodded and began picking up his snacks.

Alvin let out a small moan, "Oh yeah"

Steph's eyes widened as she quickly stood and pushed Alex up, whispering loudly "Yep time we moved elsewhere too, c'mon you guys move it" Eleanor and Theodore shuffled out of the line of seats and managed to find ones towards the middle, and Alex and Steph sat on the far right, closer to the front.

Brittany looked and realised everyone had gone, "Hey, where is everyone?" Alvin cradled her head back towards his and said softly, "Does it matter?" and began kissing her again.

Jeanette sat silently next to Simon. She glanced at him and saw how intent he was watching the movie; smiling and chuckling to himself, giving the occasional commentary of the scenery and random facts; "Did you know that they had to do scene in one take? Apparently the cost for hiring that hall is massive and any more takes would have blown the budget" to which Jeanette would generally reply with, "Oh really" or "That's interesting" but her responses were on autopilot. Her mind was ticking over as she thought about taking advantage of the two of them alone. She didn't want to go over the top like Alvin and Brittany; she hoped to save that type of behaviour for behind closed doors, if she and Simon ever reached that type of behaviour that is. She just wanted to kiss him, have him kiss her and caress her gently and lovingly; to hold her, and be interested in her rather than facts and the world around him. He said he'd make more of an effort after all. Maybe he needed to be reminded. But she didn't want to come across as needy or nagging.

"Be subtle" she told herself, and slowly lifted the arm of the seat between them. Simon glanced over and smiled moving his arm from the arm of the seat to his lap then looked back at the screen. Jeanette frowned a little at him, "Ok maybe a little more than subtle" she thought and snuggled in under his chin and rested her arm on his chest. She could feel his heart beating. A little faster than usual. She could feel his head move, and his arm pull out from under her and rest around her shoulders. He kissed her softly on the head. She looked up and smiled. Simon looked down into her eyes and became instantly lost in them. She had the most beautiful shade of jade green. He noticed her pale pink lips and suddenly longed to kiss them. He leant down and gave her a long, soft kiss. All the while wondering, "Why don't I do this more often?" and closed his eyes, while Jeanette thought, "This is all I wanted". Slowly Simon reached his other hand and slid it up her arm and gently cradled her face, stroking her cheek with his thumb. Jeanette closed her eyes too and reached her hand and stroked the side of his face. His fur was a little coarser, he mustn't have shaved that morning, but she didn't mind. They continued to kiss before finally pulling apart. Jeanette blushed and smiled at him, Simon leant and whispered, "I'm sorry" and smiled, kissing her again on the head. Jeanette closed her eyes and whispered back, "I love you too" and snuggled into his chest again.

Eleanor peered and watched as Simon and Jeanette kissed romantically and settled back next to Theodore. She whispered, "Looks like Simon and Jeanette have forgotten the movie too" Theodore took a peek and smiled to himself, "Aww see but that's sweet though" he gestured toward the back of the theatre, "Unlike those two" Eleanor giggled. She looked up at Theodore, who smiled at her and popped another gummy snake in his mouth, leaving the end hanging out. Eleanor tilited her head and grabbed the other end with her mouth and began chewing closer to Theodore. It was like 'Lady and the Tramp' style spaghetti scene, as they inched closer bit off their own halves of the gummy snake and kissed lightly. After she'd swallowed, Eleanor launched her lips onto Theodore's and began kissing him a little harder. Theodore was taken back a little, but relaxed and enjoyed the moment. He tried sliding his hands up her back again, and then slid them back down and gripped Eleanor gently on the backside. She jumped a little and moved her kisses from his mouth over to Theodore's ear, and began nibbling softly. Theodore closed his eyes and whispered to Eleanor, "No, no you can't there, that's my weak spot, no Ellie, what if someone hears us? Steph and Alex aren't that far away"

She giggled "Who cares?" and flicked her tongue on his ear lobe. The sensation sent shivers down his body and created a feeling inside him that was unlike anything he'd felt before. He ran his hands over her back again and down her arms, gripping her hand with one hand and holding her head with the other. It felt so good. Really good. A little too good perhaps? Then he felt it. He moved away slightly and twisted his body round, trying to relax and holding a popcorn bucket on his lap. Eleanor looked a little rejected. She thought he was enjoying it, then she looked at his face. Theodore was bright red, even in the dimply lit theatre and had his eyes closed. He was mouthing something but she couldn't work it out, and his legs were bouncing as if he needed to go to the bathroom. Then she noticed the way he was now sitting. It looked uncomfortable, like he was hiding something. Then the penny dropped.

Eleanor smiled and came in to hug Theodore around his shoulders, "Oh Teddy Bear. I'm sorry"

Theodore didn't answer, he just kept mouthing something and kept his eyes closed. Eleanor tried to comfort him, "Theodore, I'm flattered really"

Theodore opened one eye and looked sideways at her, "I'm sorry Ellie, I am, it's just, well, wait, what? Flattered? This is not flattering it's embarrassing" he closed his eye again and continued to concentrate on whatever it was he was concentrating on.

Eleanor kissed him on the cheek, "Oh my sweet Teddy Bear" and leant down on his shoulder. Theodore breathed out and began to relax. The feeling appeared to have more or less subsided, but he kept the popcorn bucket resting in his lap just in case, and leant over to kiss Eleanor on the head. Short after he'd relaxed enough to put his arm around Eleanor's shoulder and continue watching the movie.

Steph turned back around, and sat sideways in her seat and whispered to Alex, "Well it seems everyone's getting action except us" Alex looked back toward Eleanor and Theodore, to notice Theodore stop suddenly and twist around, he moved back round to face the screen and whispered to Steph, "Looks like Theo is getting more action than he can handle" Steph peeked over the seats to see Theodore's expression and turned back, "Oh no, poor little darling" she muffled a giggle as Alex smiled and flicked her on the arm, "Do NOT say a word, you'll only embarrass him more" Steph held her hands up in defence, "What? Me? Oh I'd never do a thing like that" Alex lifted his eyebrows at her as Steph laughed, "I'm serious, I wouldn't. Not to Theodore anyway" Alex smiled and leaned over to kiss her. Steph wrapped her arms around his neck and pulled him closer, lowering herself down, only to bang her head on the other seat behind her. She reached behind her head, "Ow" she tilted her head back and flicked the arm up, then concentrated her focus back on Alex. He smiled and gave her a look asking, "We're good now?" Steph smiled and winked, "It's all good baby" and ran her hands down his sides, resting them on his hips. Alex managed to somehow position himself so he was straddling over Steph, although, one leg was out laying flatish along the back of the seats, while the other was balancing himself. Steph positioned her knees up behind his backside and looked into his eyes. Gosh they were beautiful. She pulled him in for a kiss and immediately flicked her tongue in his mouth. Alex didn't seem the least bit surprised and simply returned the gesture. He allowed his hands to roam over the curves of her body, up and down her hips. Steph giggled as he ran them over her side and covered her mouth. He looked at her and raised an eyebrow smiling. Steph's eyes widened, "Don;t you dare, I have the loudest laugh, we'll get kicked out" Alex smiled and leant in to kiss her again, "Well I don't want that, I'm enjoying being in here" and he began kissing down her neck, and the same time his hand slipped under her top and softly caressed her stomach. Steph moaned softly near his ear and held his head closer to her neck, running the other hand down his back. She whispered something in his ear, but Alex didn't hear it, so he lifted his head and asked, "Huh?" Steph smiled seductively at him, she was breathing heavily now and thrust her hips toward him. He gave a slight moan , "Oh geez"and looked at her, as she ran her hand down his chest. He could feel something and knew he needed to stop. She leant up to kiss him, but he pulled away. Steph lay her head back down confused. She'd never been rejected like this before. Alex started moving back, as Steph pulled her legs out and sat with them up to her chin. What had she done? Did he not like her? Alex sat back in his seat and tried to catch his breath. He looked down in his lap and shifted his gaze over to Steph. She knelt on the seat and leaned over to him, "What's the matter?" He gave a few deep breaths before patting her on the hand, "Look baby, I'm not doing this in a movie theatre, ok? That's all" He picked her hand up and kissed it, looking into her eyes he could see she was a little hurt, "Steph, fooling around is one thing, but going all the way is another. I love you too much to do it with you now...especially in a movie theatre...with all our friends nearby, ok?" She lowered her head, "Ok" then noticed his groin and looked up at him, "You were having fun though?" Alex gave her a look and said, "You can't tell? Now shuddup, I gotta relax and think of dead puppies or something" She giggled and threw another popcorn kernel in her mouth, catching it for the first time.

Alvin too had Brittany laying on top of him. Since everyone else had split, they'd lifted all the arms of the seats to create a lounge type seating for them to lay on, and were busily making out. Alvin ran his hands along Brittany's back and down her sides. She giggled a little and flinched at her ticklish spot. Alvin slid his hand over her back and slapped her playfully on her backside. Brittany looked at him with a confused, almost curious, yet smiling face, "Uh, what was that?" Alvin shrugged, "Love slap" and pulled her in again. He ran his hand along her thigh and knew it was not a good idea. He could feel his hormones racing and sensed his breathing becoming heavier. But the next thing he never expected. Brittany began...moving?...on him. It was a sensation he seemed to like, albeit it took him a little by surprise, but he could get used to it none the less and he moaned silently to himself and brought his hands around to her stomach. He looked up at her. Her eyes were closed and her lips were slightly apart. He kept travelling up until he fingered the edge of her bra. Brittany moaned again and covered her mouth to silence herself. She slowly slid and lay on Alvin's chest, looking in his eyes. Alvin wished she hadn't slid, as it made him become a little more excited. He grabbed her hips and began encouraging her to move with him. But something seemed to click with her, and she sat up. Alvin was shocked and had his hands sort of left in suspended animation halfway in the air where Brittany's hips had been. She looked shocked and flustered and began playing with her hair, sitting with her legs tucked up and staring at the movie screen. Alvin didn't know what to say or do. He lay there for a while, trying to catch his breath and lay his arm over his forehead. Damn his head was sweaty. Then he caught a whiff of his underarm – yeeuuck. He flopped his arm down off the seats and tried to compose himself enough to be able to sit up without...damaging himself. Once he had and his breathing started to sound normal again, he went and moved closer to Brittany. She was still staring at the screen and fiddling with the same strands of hair. Alvin kissed her shoulder, "Britt, babe what's wrong?" Brittany looked at him quickly and then back at the screen, her eyes looked glazed over. He looked concerned and shifted himself to sit sideways, one leg crossed in front of him, the other left hanging off the edge of the seat, "Brittany, talk to me" he gently took her chin and guided her face to meet his. She closed her eyes and a tear rolled down her cheek, her mouth began to tremble. Alvin just looked at her and drew her in for a hug, caressing her hair and whispering, "It's ok babe, it's ok" Brittany left out a soft cry and sat up. She wiped under her eyes; careful not to smudge her mascara, and looked at him with a soft smile, "I'm sorry, I didn't mean to get carried away" Alvin shrugged, "S'ok with me" Brittany closed her eyes, "I just...I'm not ready" Alvin let out a sigh and hugged her again, "Britt, it's fine. OK? I think we may have just got a little too lost in the moment." She opened her eyes again and he kissed her softly on her lips. She smiled and turned to face the screen, "I suppose we better watch some of this movie hey?" Alvin laughed, "Eh, at least we'll catch the ending" Brittany giggled as they watched the screen fade to black and the credits begin to roll, "Ok so the ending was sooner than I thought then"

Alvin laughed, "Oh look Anne Hathaway was in it" He looked around for his cap and put it on his head, pushing his sweaty hair underneath. Then he looked at Brittany. He hair was a little ruffled, and her skirt was now sideways and riding a little higher, "Might wanna fix yourself up there beauty, or things are gonna look even more suspicious"

Brittany looked down at her skirt and stood up, shifting it and straightening it up. She pulled a pocket mirror from her bag and began fixing her hair.

Alvin leaned back on the seat with his feet on the seat in front of him. He waved as Theodore, Eleanor, Alex and Steph all stood up. He was pleased to see they'd all found their own little nookie hole, and with that he laughed at himself, and stood up ready to meet them all outside the doors.
