Another Path

Yes, the new chapter with the Buu Saga getting even better. But with each chapter we only drew closer to the end. And that's kind of sad. At least for me, I don't know about the people reading this.

Depressive thought aside, we have a new chapter and we must read now!

Chapter 31: Down the Corridor

The pack of fighters finally arrived into their destination. The place where Babidi and his lackeys had taken their refugee. The place was nearly ten thousand miles away from the Tournament Arena, but because of everyone's current power, flying such distances were too easy to cross in matter of minutes.

"Hey look!" Gohan pointed towards a particular gap in the earth they were looking at. Instead of been green from the lawn, it was dry brown flat soil. There was a 'house' of a sort right in the center of the place. It was white with some red tips "The place looks dig out or something"

"Yes, Babidi buried his ship, that's why we couldn't find it!" Kibito exclaimed after missing the very obvious.

"Indeed, we must keep our guard up. Babidi is no fool and must have planned something" The East Kai stated in a serious tone "And most of all, we must not attack the ship. One tremor powerful enough might revive Majin Buu and bring the destruction of everything" The fighters looked seriously to each other. That was quite the bad situation they were in.

Just another Friday.

"Oh my, the Supreme Kai finally showed up" The dark sorcerer said in his evil glee from inside his space ship "We must give him the proper greeting he deserves" He snapped his fingers and the ship's door automatically opened. The wizard set in his eyes in one of his top minnions "Dabura, tell Pui Pui to get ready for the first level" The red-skinned demon did as told.

On the outside the ship's door slid open without a warning. The pack of warriors got ready for a fight. But no one showed up. And no energy could be detected on the other side of the ship's threshold. They looked at one another for an answer.

"Maybe they are letting us in" Tarroc stated a possible answer.

"No. It must be a trap. Babidi obviously wants to lure us inside and trap us to steal our power" The white-haired Kai said now in his grim voice.

"Like if he could trap a Saiyan" The Royal fighter Vegeta said annoyed floating directly into the entrance and going down a rabbit hole. Before The mohawk man could stop the Saiyan the other fighters followed the same example.

"Don't worry master" The red-skinned assistant said to his worried master "If they are as powerful as Tarroc showed against me then we might stand a chance if we all fight Buu together" The from the East quadrant sighed.

"As true as it might be Kibito, I would rather avoid that fateful possibility with my life" The Kai replied. He and Kibito followed the other warriors into the dark insides of the alien spaceship.

Seconds later, the Z-gang was inside an ample circle room, the roof a dome-shaped construct. It certainly was alien but also quite dull. That Babidi guy didn't know a thing about interior decoration. There was a circle in the middle of the place. It looked like another hole to go through.

"So what's going to happen now Supreme Kai?" Piccolo asked in curiosity. He couldn't detect energies so a trap could be a very plausible attempt on them.

"Babidi will send his most powerful warriors to fight us and try to drain us from our energy" The pointy-ears person replied, his eyes fixed at a door in the other side of the place "And be wary. Babidi only selects the most powerful evil warriors and gives them more energy with his dark magic"

The same door the Kai was gazing at finally opened, a slender black-and-white being dressed in a white chest plate with spikes in his back and a long sausage-like head stepped into the light. His name was Pui Pui, an alien from the distant planet Zoon.

"You are now in the first level. Master Babidi is in the deepest one, almost four levels beneath" The white and black alien explained with a tauntin grin. It didn't faze any of the fighters at all "Not that you will live to see so far!"

"Who wants to go first?" Goku asked towards the gang, oblivious to the 'threat' that was in front of them.

"I will" Vegeta said now leaving no ground for a retort. The Saiyan stepped forward stretching his neck "I need to vent some frustrations" The Prince stepped forward into the battlefield ready to kill. And no one would get in his way.

The black-and-white being was flummoxed that no one thought of him as a real menace. Still, he knew those Earthlings were only mumbling to not look so scare.

"So ready to die?" The white-armored Majin said with an evil glee. Vegeta snorted with a grin.

"That's the best taunt you can think off?" The prince shot back "So much for the so-called darkest most evil creatures of the universe" Pui Pui had a vein of anger popping on his forehead.

"Keep babbling if you want, but all the energy I beat out of you will only be used to resurrect Majin Buu" The lackey blurted out.

"Then I'll make sure you are dead before that" The prince retorted with an even bigger smirk. Vegeta's body shimmered slightly, his super dash of speed too fast for the Majin minion. A fast uppercut to the chin sent the alien creäture head over heels to land into one of the walls, framing it perfectly with his silhouette. The magician's lackey twitched his arms, slowly recovering from the nerve-numbing strike. Pui Pui unleashed his ki into a shock wave the released him from the imprint of the wall.

Before the Majin creäture knew what had happened though, Vegeta was already pointing at him with his index finger and his thumb up, like a children would do to look like a hand-made handgun. The Saiyan Prince easily blasted Pui Pui with a deadly Bang Beam, the head and thorax of the alien exploding into purple gore. It gave a more colorful tone to the place.

"I forgot how nice it felt killing weaklings" The widow peak fighter stated with his trademark cocky glee. The hole in the center of the room instantly went down, a black hole stretching into the depth.

"Guess that's our lift" Krillin joked jumping inside the hole. The others followed along though Kibito and the Supreme Kai were the last ones. They were still trying to understand how Earthlings were powerful enough to destroy one of Babidi's minions so easily.

Inside the ship's lowest level, the dark magic warlock was clutching his hands in anger. How could anyone destroy his servants? They all had been empowered with evil strength, for Aspect' sake! No earthling commoner would make sport out of him. He would show them.

"Curse them!" The yellow-skinned wizard bellowed in his high-pitched voice. His furious eyes glared at his demon servant Dabura, who was in one knee "Why didn't you inform me about these fighters?!"

"I apologise, my lord. But non of them were present when the scouters checked the planet a hundred years ago" Dabura explained on his knee. The warlock took a deep sigh to gather his mood before doing something drastic. He had to play cool for now.

"No matter. I still have some useful warriors to draw power from those Earthlings" The sorcerer stated elated his crystal ball floating in front of him by magic. The image changed into a common aisle of his ship.

"Send Yakon to the arena" The warlock ordered towards the foot soldier on the screen. The servant ran away and did what he was told. A sudden scream indicated his servant of the darkness had done the job.

Back on the Martial Arts Tournament, the audience was booing the announcer and many other workers. They were throwing food or anything heavy enough to hit the guys that weren't fighters. They came to see fights and there was no one doing that.

"Please, listen up everyone!" The blonde announcer desperately said, shielding himself from the incoming projectiles of the audience "As many contestants have left the stadium, we are sadly forced to disqualify them" The audience was again roaring in an anger "However, thanks to an anonymous offer, the remaining contestants shall fight in an all-out Battle Royale!"

Lime walked into the white ring, alongside the moustached egomaniac Satan and the dark-skinned green-dressed Killa. She sighed. It wasn't going to be funny at all. Now she really wanted to punch her boyfriend for dumping her in this dull situation.

The three fighters left for a corner of their own, the blonde announcer in the centre. Satan was stupidly posing with his hands raised in V sign with his two fingers. Killa was also doing some weird poses, Ginyu worth. So far Lime proved to have brain cells. She was standing on a corner arms folded and not paying a lot of attention.

"This is an all-out fight. The same rules apply for this combat" The announcer yelled, the gong sounding and the people cheering.

Satan smiled to himself. The Battle Royale had been his idea to the judges. And he knew for certain that without the weird freaks in his way, he would finally be able to claim his Martial Arts tittle. And his opponents weren't that special either. Just a pompous guy and a little girl. He would make quick work and knock them out without suffering. The least price to pay so to achieve fame.

"Now begin!" The announcer said through the mike. Killa shot forward right into Lime, Satan following behind him with the same target in mind. The moustached man jumped through the air, performing some stupid-fashioned kicks that would obviously impress the audience.

No one was impressed.

The dark-skinned man aimed a fist towards the little girl. However, Lime was still on her same spot, arms folded over her chest. She wasn't trying to fight yet.

Just as Killa was throwing his punch, the brunette casually shot her leg into the man's guts in a blurring motion. She sent him careening outside the arena into the grass completely knocked out and a few bones broken.

Satan was now sweating buckets while he was falling after his flamboyant parading. He hadn't expect the girl to be one of the freaks. As soon as he landed on the arena, Lime disappeared from sight, instantly materialising in front of the man, landing a short knee to the crotch. It wasn't against the rules because it was an all-out fight.

The moustached man fell to his knees, grabbing his in pain zone. Then he was knocked out cold.

"And hopefully he won't have children now" The brunette thought a bit cheered up by that thought.

"Dad!" A black-haired girl in the audience with ponytails yelled. Lime face-palmed.

"Too late" She thought while the people cheered for the new Champion.

The ceremony continued with the announce of the new Championess but the woman fighter didn't pay heed. She would give the belt back to Goku or Gohan. They deserved it.

The door behind Dabura and Babidi suddenly slid open, a new fighter showing up. The shadows of the ship were covering his frame entirely.

"My lord, why haven't you sent me there to take care of those pests?" The new comer asked. He enjoyed the new power his master had provided to him. But with Saiyans right next to him and not jumping in scene to severely cut their throats open and slide their guts to disembowel them was making him very angry.

"Now, now, my dear lackey. Patience is the game here. I cannot simply blurt out loud all of my well-placed plans, specially not with the Supreme Kai out there" The wizard answered, arms resting lazily behind his back. The minion fell back in line, knowing that refuting would mean his death.

"Let's see what Yakon can do" The crystal showed the second stage.

"Alright, I'm going next" The palm-haired fighter of Earth said now stretching his muscled arms. The others didn't argue there. With Goku fighting there was only win for them.

The door towards the wizard's fighters opened again. A tall slimy green-skinned 'thing' or something for that matter showed up in green-scaled reptilian body. He had one long talon protruding from each of his forearms. His mouth was drooling with the prospect of eating some fresh ki energy.

"It's Yakon!" Kibito exclaimed in dread. And it was very dreadful.

"Goku, you must be extremely cautious here!" The Supreme Kai told the now-fighting Saiyan, who turned his head back "Yakon's species has the ability to absorb any surrounding light to use them as power"

"Got it" The Earth champion replied with a thumbs up. Not that he would give the guy the chance of absorbing energy. What kind of fool would do that?

The green monster moved forward, the long claws of his arms suddenly stretching out an entire foot. Not that it was any more intimidating than before.

"Ready to die, vermin?!" The demon taunted, drool falling from his lips.

"Are you?" The Saiyan replied with a smirk in his face while cracking his knuckles. The demon may tower over Goku for a feet or two but the Saiyan was not going to bat an eyelash in fear. This was not even going to be amusing.

The green creäture lashed his hand from left to right, the movement nothing but blur to a normal human eye. But all the seasoned fighters in the view side of the ship saw the attack like slow motion. The palm-haired warrior lazily rose his forearm and blocked without being moved back an inch. The monster widen his eyes just for a second but kept on attacking with his other free claw. Goku, however, only hunched his upper body to the right and the sharp appendage passed on without even cutting the orange clothes of his Gi.

The green monster was so taken aback after his second failure that never saw Goku dashing from behind and landing his sharp boot of foot in the back of his head at full strength. A kick strong enough to effortlessly behead the possessed monster. The monster's head exploded with a noiseless pop. The next second his body fell limply into the floor with a thud.

The Supreme Kai was still aghast. How could there be powerful fighters that made quick work of some of the darkest creatures of the cosmos?

"Hey, Babidi! Why don't you show yourself so we can see how weakling you are?" Goku taunted to no one in particular. But obviously, he knew the wizard was hearing him. Such a common trait for those with megalomaniac ego.

"That wretched piece of shit!" The dark warlock cursed his magic swirling around him by his anger "Who does he think he is to destroy my minions?!" The blue-dressed demon stood up in full seven feet.

"Don't worry master, now it's my turn" The red-skinned Dabura stated with a vampire-fanged smile.

"Yes, but you must win. I cannot let all my best guards die before Majin Buu is revived" The Madoshi commented while his second strongest minion walked away. Once Majin Buu was back then all his minions would be irrelevant to him. But until that point, he had to rely on them.

"So who goes next?" Krillin asked to no one in particular now one floor lower. They looked all the same, however, so noting the difference was rather impossible.

"Hey, I like to watch in the VIP section so I'm not going in unless necessary" Yamcha replied with mirth. Next to him Tien nodded with the same thought.

"I will, if that's okay" Gohan stepped forward bold and ready. The door of the third stage opened and the blue-and-white dressed demon showed up. The power he had was stronger than all the other fighters they had faced.

"Dabura!" The Supreme being and his attendant yelled in unison fear.

"Um, who?" Goku asked eyebrow raised towards the overlooker of the universe.

"Dabura is one of the strongest beings in the universe, a Lord Makaioshin of the Demon Realm" The Supreme Kai explained.

"Maka-what?" Tarroc asked now really confused by the bizarre terms.

"Makaioshin. A Shinjin like myself and the other Kais and Supremes, although born corrupted and thrown into the Darkness by the Kaiju Tree" The white mohawk man explained again, his sight still fixed on the mighty devil.

"Yeah, because you just explained in English, right?" The hybrid retorted arms over his chest not amused.

"It means that Dabura is an evil Kai" Piccolo said now stoic and keeping his eyes in the soon to be fight.

"Was that so hard to explain?" Tarroc said to the Supreme Kai with taunting glee.

However, Gohan paid no heed to the Kai's answers and stepped right in front of the fiend, ready as always. Whatever the demon was, the hybrid didn't care. He only knew that he would be nice for a warm up.

"Master Babidi, take us to a distant place" The demon said towards his master. A few seconds later, the arena shifted like if traveling through dimensions and then everybody were in what looked like a desert. Though unlike those of Earth, this one had nearby lakes of crystal-clear water with many rock mesas around the sandy place. Not that it made a difference for the half alien. He would still win.

"So you are the runt that wants to die by my hand?" The demon taunted, floating up in the air. He would make quick work of the runt. Gohan floated along with a stoic expression.

"Yeah, yeah, can we skip the cliché monologue so I can kick your ass?" Gohan asked sarcastically and cutting the bullshit out.

"Such a rush will be your undoing" The demon stated, knowing he would win without breaking a sweat. Gohan barely smirked, folding his arms to his sides and his power erupting around his body in the form of the dark red Kaioken times ten.

This should do as a nice warm up.

The powered-up hybrid shot at thousand times notch speed, his left fist very casually landing against Dabura's right cheek. The demon jerked his head by the furious momentum, a spray of blood flying away from his bleeding lips. The Makaioshin clutched his teeth in anger, responding with a short forward uppercut. Gohan folded his arms into his chest x-crossed and received the force without as much of a flinching. The rocky ground rumbled by the shock beneath them but the demi alien kept on without paying attention to that. Dabura didn't have time to be surprised by the kid's resilience before a forward foot to the sternum sent him careening backwards. The half alien chased after him.

Dabura floated now coordinated, inhaling. But not because he was out of breath. Then he unleashed a powerful stream of fire from his mouth. The Saiyan though only stopped on his tracks not going to fall in whatever tactic the demon had. He placed two fingers in his forehead and teleported. He rematerialised behind his enemy and fired a short knee blow to the hip, Dabura never expecting it and yelling out in pain. By that time, Gohan had already dashed towards the demon's left side, his right elbow shooting up casually and hitting the forehead with planet-busting strength.

The Makaioshin recoiled in pain clutching his injured face. When he finally opened his eyes two seconds later, the purple-dressed hybrid was already above him, firing an axe strike that sent the demon careening down into the rock mesas that crumbled with a deafening shock wave booming around the place.

On the sidelines, the East Kai and his attendant had their mouths on the ground.

"Unbelievable!" Kibito exclaimed in utter shock "A mortal is beating Dabura!"

"This is beyond unreal" The Supreme Kai stated. The other fighters didn't say a thing. Because they knew how powerful Gohan truly was. He was still stretching out.

Gohan casually floated in the air, waiting. A second later the ground trembled and the demon showed up again for more. His blue-and-white clothes were ragged but he was only very angry.

"You have some skills" The Makaioshin stated, trying to not sound impressed by the power he was fighting against. Maybe he would be pushed to unleash his true strength. Never he thought such a common vermin of a backwater planet like Earth could do that to him.

"You have no idea" Gohan remarked with confidence. Dabura flew backwards, planting his feet in a rock cliff that had survived the shock wave.

"If that's how you want to play, fine!" The evil Kai stated, a red aura with lightnings covering his frame. His powers started to go up. His strength completely overpowered that of Cell's when he had become Ultra perfect "I will now show you the true power of the strongest Demon!" The ground trembled, spider webs of cracks spreading from the powering up fiend.

The demi alien jerked an eyebrow. That was it? What a fraud. And the Supreme Kai had almost wet his pants because of this weakling.

"You have to do something!" Supreme Kai yelled frantically "Gohan won't survive against Dabura's true power!" But no one was moving to help the fighting Saiyan. In fact, everybody were extremely relaxed about the situation.

"Just wait Kai" Tarroc chimed in with a smirk. This fight was one of the few interesting ones so far.

"Trust us Supreme Kai" Piccolo said now, watching the fight with accurate sight "I've trained with that kid since he was four. And mark my words, he hasn't warm up yet"

The fiend yelled top-lounge, shooting forward with deadly velocity. Gohan saw him coming but decided to change tactics. His body remained limp, when Dabura stroke with a murderous hook to the face.

The demon of the Underworld smirked in delight. He was pounding the runt with his full strength and the whelp couldn't defend himself properly. He was going to win and fulfill his mission. Majin Buu would be revived in no time. All the strikes he landed were sapping the energy of his enemy. He was growing weaker while he remained intact.

Firing a knee up, the half Saiyan was doubled down while the Makaioshin rose his left hand up.

"Got you!" The demon yelled elated, his hand firing a massive red energy sphere. A slow attack from Gohan's point of view, however. He smiled to himself, playing the part of been powerless for now. But he was far from that. The red blast hit Gohan dead on. Nothing remained from the earthling hybrid. Or at least, from one of the hybrids. Because at the time of impact, there had been two of them.

"Quite a fool" Dabura stated cleaning a trickle of blood from his lips. Apparently, he hadn't found out the charade yet.

"Really, who?" A voice remarked towards Dabura from behind. The demon slowly turned around to see the half alien still alive and barely scratched with injuries. More accurately, not scratched at all.

"Ho...How?" The hellish being stammered for a question. He had gone all out. Nothing would have survived. Mortals and Immortals would have been reduced to ashes by his true might.

"That wasn't the real me, just a duplicate I created at the last second of impact" Gohan explained, his years of fighting paying off. From the sidelines everyone nodded in approval. The kid was a great strategist. The demon had been played for a fool in the best strategic way.

"Now, let's see if I can end up my warm up" The demiSaiyan told the demon with a smirk, the Kaioken shinning again, now up to thirty times normal. To Gohan, it long ago stopped being straining. After mastering two Super Saiyan forms, the Kaioken was rather tamed in comparison.

The powered-up fiend grinded his teeth in wrath. He wasn't going to jock around. He would kill without mercy or pity.

Those were his thoughts when a light speed foot embed inside his guts. The half alien had fired his attack casually and yet devastatingly, a bulge almost piercing through the demon's back. The Makaioshin was still processing what was going on. Until the white-hot pain washed over him, spite flying out of his mouth.

Before Dabura had registered the first kick, two more had already landed, one in his shin buckling him to one knee and the other kick as roundhouse hitting him full in the wrinkled face. Dabura's brain shook inside his skull, his teeth and jaw bone loosen from the cranium after the numbing white-hot pain. The red-skinned being was sent careening through rock pillars, each crumbling into small-size rubble. The monster from the Underworld recovered faster, however, and backflipped with his feet pressing the ground. He skidded into a halt after paving a small trench for four or five miles.

"So want to give up?" The alien asked, his power still brimming in red colors. He was asking out of courtesy though. Gohan wasn't going to let anyone so evil to live.

The fanged creäture panted, his body tired and fatigued. He wasn't going anywhere fighting head on. An idea shone in his mind. It was perfect. As he had said before, the kid's arrogance would be his undoing.

The demon now fully stood up like if he had been reenergize. Gohan wasn't buying it.

"Why don't you attack me?" The demon asked with obvious taunting. He then spun around, tapping his shoulder like if willingly exposing himself "Right here in my back" Dabura knew his victory was a certain. Th kid would foolishly fell in the trap and attack from behind. But before he could reach him, Dabura would spit him in the face and turn him into a useless stone statue. Once he did that, he would keep the hybrid as a personal trophy like many others that had thought of standing against him.

His mind tactic didn't let the Makaioshin hear a technique called 'Special Beam Cannon' fired from behind him. The next thing Dabura knew, blood suddenly bubbled to his mouth, a gaping hole appearing in his chest. He slowly dropped to his knees, the blood lost already handicapping him into a very painful death.

"There, I did as you said" Gohan was now in front of his enemy, still shinning red and with a bored look in his face.

"But you..." The demon attempted to talk but more fluids oozed from his wounds. The hybrid jerked an eyebrow.

"What? You never said to attack you hand to hand, did you?" The Saiyan exclaimed with mirth, after beating the demon in his own game. Not that it had been that challenging in the first place.

A flash of yellow ki later and Dabura was no more into the living world.

"Well done son!" Goku said happily. Tarroc gave a thumb up. Vegeta just growled and Piccolo gave a silent nod.

"So shall we go?" The hybrid asked jumping down the rabbit hole along his friends.

The dark warlock yelled in anger. How could they kill Dabura so casually? One second, he was winning and the next he was gone. The Madoshi wanted to rip his hair apart from his scalp. Problem was, he didn't have hair.

"Tell me something, those aren't normal humans, are they?" The wizard asked to his minion in the shadows.

"Actually, my lord, the three eyes, the scarface and shorty are humans. The green guy is an alien but I don't know what kind. But the freak-haired ones are all Saiyans" The rough voice explained.

"Saiyans?!" The wizard yelled, the word almost too awful to mention out loud "Do you know what those beasts can do? Don't you know about their Legend?!" While Babidi had never met those aliens before, his father apparently did years before creating Majin Buu. And he had left a diary refering to a crowd of mighty warriors that could transform into giant golden monkeys that had unparalleled powers.

"I know sir. And to make things worse, I can accurately say that the four of them can transform into Super Saiyans" The last comment made the wizard want to gag his own eyes out with his fingernails. Why did things had to happen to him right now? The servant, however, was quick to ease his master's mood "But pay no heed to those grim omens sir. Just let me handle the black-dressed one" Now the wizard was intrigued by that. He looked at the group of fighters, particularly to the black-dressed one.

How did they call him? Tarroc, that was it.

"A personal grudge?" The puke-color-skinned warlock inquired mildly curious.

"Quite so" The man's voice replied "But don't worry my lord. Once I have started pounding that Super Saiyan, Majin Buu will be resurrected in no time" In truth, he didn't care about Majin Buu. He only cared about his revenge against the blasted monkey. He had thought he could escape from him.

But he always finished his jobs.

"Just don't mess around like Dabura did" The wizard commented, looking at the energy meter. It was like a clock, the tickle barely reaching what in Earth would be 1 pm "He offered so little energy it's almost nothing" The warlock returned his sight curious about some other thing.

"Tell me, are those humans a real danger?" The yellow-skinned sorcerer asked, pointing towards the pictures in the crystal ball.

"On their own, Dabura could have grinded them into dust. But it's not hard to see that they can perfectly work as a team and defeat anyone stronger" The hidden being explained to his master.

"Then I will have to put them against someone unbeatable" The warlock smirked with evil intentions "Now go for that Saiyan pest" The minion nodded and left.

Babidi's fingers clicked and then a book materialized in front of him. But it wasn't just the regular book one could pick up from a store. This was a magical tome. The Ancient Curses of Binding Powers. The tome allowed wizards and sorceress alike to control the power of seals and locks, magic that could not be broken by any kind of physical force. But it didn't only allow to make seals. It also showed how to break one.

The wizard started floating, enchanting a dark spell in a long forgotten language. Black lightnings covered his short frame while a new item hovered next to the book. It was a small rectangular ivory-made box he had found in a desolated planet in the South Galaxy. It had been left as a barren wasteland after an amazing fight against a monster.

"Paparapapa!" The wizard enchanted, throwing his lightnings into the small item. The box trembled like wanting to be torn apart. Like if there was something inside trying to crawl away.

A snap of fingers and the box disappeared.

"Now let's see if those fools catch my bait"

While the group waited for a new fighter, The Supreme Kai and Kibito were whispering a conversation for themselves.

"It's amazing sir" Kibito said towards his master "These Earthlings are proving to be even stronger than we first thought they would"

"I can't believe it too, Kibito" Supreme Kai said towards his attendant in a surprised tone "For mere mortals to have so much potential that it even overwhelms me and yet to keep it hidden for so long, it's simply mind-staggering" Everyone paced impatiently around the room.

Then a new echoing sound reached the defenders of the green planet. A low-tuned flute playing with perfect orchestra rhythm.

"Is that music?" Goku asked his sharp ear jerking up. The other Saiyans also heard the special tune. It wasn't a music hypnosis so no one was suddenly enthralled into darkness. But the music was good, no doubt about that.

The floating box went towards Krillin, who opened his eyes in surprise.

"Um, guys, I have a box for a stalker" The monk tried to lighten the mood with a joke "What do I do?"

"Just blast it, you fool!" Vegeta growled. Was it to hard to blast everything like he always did?

The turtle fighter sighed, raising his hand. Before he had charged a blast, however, the box had attached itself to the opened palm like if magnetically attracted to it.

Two seconds later a deafening portal exploded from behind the humans, who couldn't even yell before the massive wind gusts sent them spiraling away.

"Krillin!" Goku yelled but the booming died his voice. Before the warriors could properly react to save their friends, the portal was gone. And so were the three human warriors.

"What the Hell just happened?!" Gohan yelled but that was the precise moment when the door slided open. A man walked out in tall green-skinned splendor. His eyes were a dark blood-red color framed with black sclera. He was easily eight feet tall with silver sharp things coming out of his shoulders. He was dressed in a casual battle black robe that only reached up to his elbow, showcasing black spikes in his forearms like a natural armor and also offensive weapon.

The remaining fighters were now looking serious. The power this new fighter had was no laughing thing. Yet his sight from Hell was fixed in one and one person alone.

"My, my, little Tarroc" The obvious extraterrestrial being stated in his gruff voice "For a moment I thought I wouldn't see you again"

The aforementioned hybrid became stiffer. His body was no longer in a casual stance. Now he was balling his hands in fists. He knew exactly who the new comer was. He could never forget that voice. It belonged to the bastard that transformed him into Super Saiyan. To the freak that took his only family away.

"Who saw the truck?" The bald monk asked now not trying to sound funny at all. Because what happened hadn't been amusing for anybody. The humans recovered, standing up in the middle of a street.

"Guys, we are in East City" The former desert bandit said now looking around the buildings and recognising the place.

"But why would Babidi teleport us here?" The tryclops asked. This smell like trap. It was then when the flute played again.

"That music again" The shorter monk commented now wary of that particular music.

Indeed, the box was again echoing with great melody, floating in front of the human fighters. The music died down and the box's marble-made structure suddenly shattered.

Then Hell broke loose.

The black clouds covered the bright sky in less than a second. Earthquakes and lightnings made the city ramble to its foundation. The entire world trembled to the core. The humans were sent into the air by the hurricane wind gales that washed the city like a tornado. Concrete, cars, and even people started to fly away into the distance by the forceful weather. Short buildings were being uprooted from the ground, the giant constructs tearing themselves apart by their own unstable mass.

Back in the Tournament, the entire arena trembled by the new wrathful hurricane that raked over the place, taking everything and everyone that wasn't fast enough to escape.

The new champion Lime had to cover her face from the unnatural tempest of Earth. She could feel a distant powerful energy along with Krillin, Yamcha and Tien.

Something smell awry for the warrioress.

A black lightning finally stroke in the middle of East city, the booming thunder that followed noisier than ten nukes exploding at the same time. From the epicenter of the impact a figure was slowly fading into existence in blue light. Almost like a holographic ghost returning to the land of the living. And one could already see it was something big.

Scratch that, something big looked small next to it.

From below to above, the shadow of a creäture finally manifested. First giant-sized clawed feet embed into the asphalt with a solid thud. Then the legs slowly came next, the skin a tough hide of black lizard-like scales. Then the also-scaled body trunk with a twenty-feet long humongous tail with a sharp edge at the tip of it right over the rear of the creäture. Finally long arms sprouted from the shoulders and finally the head. A massive cranium that looked like the skin had been peeled off and replaced with white squama stared to the brand new world with cat-eyelid dark red eyes. Lines of deadly sharp fangs framed the gargantuan beast's maws. The three human fighters stared in utter disbelief to the giant creäture that had blacked out the entire area with its massive one-yard heft.

The towering lizard-like monster yelled like a mad beast. He needed to feast.

Notes from Chapter 31:

Dabura's power up is the one he used against Gohan in cannon with some changes. In both stances, it didn't do exactly a lot.

Goku and Gohan killed their oponents. Is anyone surprise? Because I'm not.

We also have a female Martial Arts champion. Better Lime than Satan.

And we now got into a movie fight. Which I prefer Hirudegarn over Janemba.

In this universe Babidi found the music box along with the Kashvar magic books. Because all the Konatsians and Kashvar died in the fight, the Priest also sacrificed his life to seal Hirudegarn in one box and without placing him inside a person. It's magic people. I really can't explain that.

Gohan didn't get a Zenkai because it was a warm up for him.

Gohan knows the Special Beam Cannon from Piccolo.

Because some people will ask eventually, the guy Tarroc hates is Ledgic. He survived the fight with Tarsum all those years ago. And now is stronger thanks to some training and Babidi's magic.
