A/N: LAST CHAPTER! The next one would just be an Epilpgue or a preview of some sort~ BOOK TWO IS ON THE WAY! ILYGSM! Please continue reading until the very end~ That's all I ask for, to read my story :) My story almost has a six thousand views thanks to you guys. I know it's not much, but it's over-whelming for a first timer :) THANK YOU ONCE AGAIN!
I couldn't remember much. Just a head rolling on the floor and soldiers dragging me back to the jet. Strapping me down to a chair and injecting something that eventually made me sleep for almost 2 weeks.
When I woke up, the first thing I saw were paper cranes above me. They were hanging with messages written on them. Get well soon. You're our hero. Stuff like that.
Beside me was Jaydyn and Marcus. "She's awake! OMG, you're awake!" Jaydyn enveloped me into a bear-crushing hug.
"Jay, can't breathe." I muttered
"Oh, sorry."
Marcus quickly called the nurse and then the others so that they could greet me.
When everyone was there, General Ivy, Portia, Toni, Fluorine, James Tesla from BETA, some other trainees and Rooka was there too.
I realized everyone was already wearing their corresponding squad jackets. Rooka was able to get in Gamma. She told me she scored DELTA but she knew otherwise. I saw some XETAs and THETAs but when I looked at my four closest friends they were wearing different jackets. Special ones.
ALPHAs
"General Ivy said it was one of your personal requests. We're team ALPHA now."
Everyone each had a story to share. About what happened while I was out. They were afraid Dragona was out to set another war on us but they were actually grateful and said as a token of appreciation, they decided to put a statue of me in the middle of the throne room. They are now part of our many allies.
They also said the news of my fight spread across the world, and now the whole world finally recognizes Creta again. General Ivy was filed with so many alliance requests that she said she won't be seeing us for a while.
Rooka has a boyfriend. A GAMMA one to be exact. She says he looks cute when he talks about sword measurements and using cross bows. I'm glad she found her match.
Toni said he'll definitely miss being a BETA, but he was ready to live up to a responsibility of an ALPHA. Although they didn't exactly score ALPHA, General Ivy said we make a great team.
Jaydyn told me to check myself out in the mirror. So I asked for a small one.
While I was my unconscious state, they decided to change my looks for the better. Not change as in plastic surgery but the way they mended my wounds looked like I had them a long time ago. Wounds leave scars, and I'm fine with that. My hair was shorter, curlier. It wasn't red anymore, it was darker, bloody. I became a lot more tanned. They had to fix my eyes because of me falling face flat during the battle. They made them a little smaller, so it looked like I was glaring even though I wasn't. In short I looked more...
"Intimidating," I said. "Nice, but intimidating."
"That's the point," Jaydyn said.
"Do you like it?" she asked. "I was the one who dyed your hair. I know it's a big change but-"
"Jay, I love it. Stop worrying. Change... it's... it's good. Especially right now."
I removed the dextrose connected on my right hand and heard a nurse squeal in fear. "Get me some clothes. I'm fine. I could use some walking right now."
I easily stood up as the nurse hurriedly grabbed fresh clothes and my squad jacket. I took a quick shower in the infirmary bathroom and changed there. As soon as I was done I looked at myself in the bathroom mirror. I wiped the moist on the glass and just stared. I touched the tips of my hair, my hand trails to my cheeks, then I finished with combing my hair backwards with my fingers.
I went out to the fields. I haven't roamed the whole area so I decided to take my time until sunset came.
I found myself standing infront of the garden where the fairies had their light show. I felt a small hand tap on my shoulder. I turned around in shock.
"Oh, it's you," I said. "Bella right?"
She nodded. "Don't worry. I don't recite creepy prophecies anymore."
I smiled a her, "Shouldn't you be with your other fairy friends."
"They've already picked their companions."
"What companions?"
"You see, graduated trainees with fairy companions are a must. I'm new and shy, so I wasn't able to interact with the others. Every fairy is devoted to their companion until they retire or reach OMEGA level."
"You could be mine," I suggested.
She looked up with the cutest expression that could be laid out on her tiny face, "R-really?"
I shrugged, "Why not? I just woke up form a 2 week coma."
She hugged a small portion of my head, "Thank you so much America! I mean Titania. General Titania. I keep forgetting that."
"Just call me Tania, Bella. Come on, it's getting late. Tell Queen Louisita that you might be going out more frequently than the other fairies."
And with that she flew happily back to the garden. I stayed still until I couldn't see her light anymore and walked back to the building.
I entered the ALPHA suit and it was rowdier than usual. Toni, Jaydyn and Marcus were playing this game called Mario Kart on the television while Portia had this device on her ears. She said it was called earphones and it plays music but only you could hear it.
Jaydyn saw me and gave me a box, "Don't drop that. That's an IPhone. You use it to call people, text people, play games, play music stuff like that. It's your first step if you want to stay here forever~"
I looked at her confused, "What's a text?"
Portia giggled at my cluelessness.
"We have so much to teach you Tania."
