Chapter 2
When Cerise ran off, Daring raced after her.
"Cerise!" He called when they were in the enchanted forest. Cerise turned.
"Oh, hey Daring." Cerise replied. "Why have you followed me?"
"I- I wanted to talk to you," Daring stammered. He leaned forward to kiss Cerise. Cerise moved to the left. Daring fell flat on his face, getting a kiss from Carmine in the process.
"Carmine?" Daring asked, confused. He looked up at Cerise, who was giggling. "You will get one next time!"
"Bring it on!" Cerise cried as she ran back to the school. Daring got up and raced after her.
When they got back to Ever After High, Headmaster Grimm wanted to see Cerise in his office.
"So," he said. "What you were saying earlier…"
"Headmaster, I'm sorry. The thought just slipped, that's all." Cerise replied.
"Even so," Headmaster Grimm said. "I am interested to know who your dad is."
"Well," Cerise began. "Please do not get angry at me or my parents about this."
"I will not," Headmaster Grimm promised.
"Well," Cerise murmured. "My mum, Red Riding Hood, married the big bad wolf."
"Well…" Headmaster Grimm said, sitting back in his chair. "This is pretty serious Cerise, but I will still give you the choice. You can change to become the next big bad wolf, or you can stay as the next red riding hood."
"Can I decide about this on legacy day?" Cerise asked. Headmaster Grimm nodded and Cerise was allowed to go. She did not believe what she heard. Was she really able to follow in the tracks of her father?
That night, Cerise didn't know what to do. She did not want people to know about her family secret at all. 'What am I going to do?' Cerise asked herself as she settled down into bed. She closed her eyes and fell asleep.
