Dipper gasped and took a step back. As he did, he tripped over backwards and started being sucked into the portal. "AH! NO NO NO NO!" Dipper yelled as he was sucked Into the portal.

Chapter 2: The Telepathy Twins
When Dipper was on the other side of the portal he continued screaming for it seemed as if he was falling from the sky. He landed with a hard thud on the dry ground. He sat up and rubbed his head.
"AH! What the? Where the heck am I?" Dipper asked as he surveyed the area trying to figure out where in the world he was.
He noticed that he was on top of a hill with a forest behind him. He looked over a small town, and there was a large, noticeable water tower that read on it in all capital letters, "REVERSE FALLS".
"Reverse Falls?" Dipper asked, confused.
He got up and felt significant pain in his body. He was, however, able to walk. Dipper picked up his signature pine tree hat and put it back on his head. Then he made sure he still had his journal of "3" in his vest. He felt that it was still there then he started to make his way down to the small town of Reverse Falls.
As Dipper walked down the street of the remote and quiet town, he noticed that there was hardly any one to be found. He continued walking until he saw a light blue tent in the middle of a parking lot. On top of the tent was a star with multicolored appendages, and an eye in the middle. Dipper hid behind a nearby tree, and saw lots of people going into the tent. This tent was as familiar to Dipper as if it was straight out of his nightmares.
"Gideon." He mumbled to himself.
Once everyone had gone inside the tent, Dipper sneaked inside. The brave boy was prepared to face off with Gideon, but what he saw was 80 times more surprising then what he had expected to see. He saw two people figures up on the stage where he had anticipated to see Gideon. Both of the figures looked about Dipper's age, and in fact, one looked almost exactly like Dipper. The only difference between the two was that the Dipper on stage had gelled back hair and it revealed his birth mark on his forehead. He was also wearing a light blue shirt, similar to the one that Gideon wore, black pants, and light blue shoes. To complete his ensemble, he wore a midnight black cape, and a turquoise colored amulet. The figure next to him almost completely resembled that of his own twin sister, Mabel.
The difference between them was that this Mabel seemed to be not as silly, and a little more focused on getting the attention of the crowd with her cuteness. She still had her long brown hair and also wore a shirt that was the same color and style of that of Dipper's doppelganger. She wore a short black skirt that went half way to her knees, black tights, light blue heals, and a headband with a turquoise orb in it. However, she wore the same amulet as that of the boy standing next to her.
Dipper was utterly shocked at what he saw. He quickly ducked down behind one of the benches that the people were sitting in. He didn't want to be noticed by the weird versions of him and his sister. He started to think about what Mabel might have been doing. He wondered if anyone even knew that he was gone. He was deep in thought until he heard the final line of the twins' song that made him snap out of his thoughts. He heard his doppelganger say,
"We enjoyed you coming by."
Then he heard the other Mabel say,
"Please come back again."
Then Dipper heard both of the twins say in unison, "Thanks for visitin'...The Telepathy Twins!"
"'Telepathy Twins'? That's basically just a telepathic version of the 'Mystery Twins'," Dipper whispered to himself.
People started to clear out, so he dashed out of the tent, quick as lightning, and went back behind the tree he was hiding behind earlier. When people started to clear out enough, Dipper snuck back inside the tent and went backstage. He saw two figures walk down a small hallway, go into a dressing room, and shut the door. Dipper slowly followed behind, and watched and listened through a crack in the door. The door wasn't completely shut so that made it easy. Dipper listened closely and he could hear what the twins were saying.
"That was quite a show we put on tonight, wouldn't you say brother?", said reverse Mabel. "I think it was one of our best shows yet."
Dipper could see reverse Mabel brushing her hair as she talked to her clearly oblivious brother.
"Are you even listening to me?", she asked, getting irritated.
"Sorry, what?" , said reverse Dipper.
Then reverse Mabel said, "UGH! Are you looking in that dumb book again?"
"ITS NOT DUMB, ALRIGHT! This book contains secrets about this town that most people couldn't begin to comprehend. I'm looking for the other journal at this possible hiding spot. Once I have it, I'll rule this town!"
"You mean WE! WE will rule this town!"
"What? Oh! Yes, of course...we." Reverse Dipper displayed a sly smile as he continued. "What's better, is that this pathetic town won't even see it coming. US! The Gleeful Twins, will have ultimate power!"
Dipper gasped and jumped back a little bit causing his journal to fall out of his vest.
"What was that?" Reverse Dipper asked.
Both of the reverse twins saw something move from a crack in the opening of the door. Dipper quickly snatched his journal, put it in his vest, and ran as fast as he could back down the small hallway. He was running until he couldn't move. He looked down and saw that he was floating. He was surrounded by a blue green aura, and he was going backwards. He was still turned around when he heard a voice coming from behind say,
"Well, well, well. Look who we have here. If it isn't the Pines boy."
Dipper could tell it was his reverse self, but he was confused at the same time. Did the reverse Dipper know that Dipper was his opposite self since he called him "the Pines Boy"? Then reverse Mabel picked up the conversation.
"So, what are you doing here Gideon?"
"Gideon?!" Said Dipper, frightened and confused.
"Wait a minute...", said reverse Dipper. He then turned the boy around and said,
"Wait a second! You're not Gideon! But why do you look and sound...like...like me!?"
Dipper got nervous as he saw the irritated and anxious looks of the reverse twins. Dipper could see blue fire appearing in reverse Dipper's hand. Dipper got scared, and then said,
"Dude, I'm Dipper Pines! I'm from another dimension!"
The reverse twins looked at each other with devious smirks. Then reverse Dipper dropped Dipper Pines hard on the ground. Dipper rubbed his head, then looked up with a worried expression on his face. He saw the reverse twins smirking down upon him. Reverse Dipper then clutched his amulet and said,
"Good night, Pines!"
Before Dipper could even respond, he was knocked unconscious. The twins giggled evily as they dragged the boy into their dressing room. They made sure the door was shut, and locked it.
