To War
Naruto opened his eyes and smiled down at Hinata. She had fallen asleep with her head on his chest and had managed to slide up so that her head was tucked under his chin. He leaned back, kissing the top of her head gently before resting his chin on her head again, his left hand squeezing her right slightly and his thumb gently brushed over hers, and his right hand drew very gentle lazy circles on her back, fingers brushing lightly over her skin. She shivered slightly, sighing contentedly as she squeezed his hand tighter, her left arm tightening around his back. He wrapped his right arm around her as well and kissed the top of her head again. This time, she turned her face up to his, kissing him and smiling.
"Good morning," she smiled as she lay her head on his chest again.
"Good morning Hinata," Naruto smiled hugging her tighter. "We should probably get up. There is technically a war now officially going on."
"I know," Hinata sighed. "But I don't want to."
Naruto smiled and kissed the top of her head then sat up, the blanket falling off of them and making her squeal in surprise, pulling it back up around them. Naruto chuckled, kissing her then picked up his shirt and boxers off the floor. Hinata sighed but put the blanket down and stood, walking over to the clothes she had gotten the day before she moved in with Naruto in the house Tsunade had given them as a wedding present. Naruto pulled his clothes on quickly then sat back against the wall, watching Hinata move around the room, getting dressed and fixing her hair, using chakra to clean herself up so she didn't need to take a shower. After a moment, she noticed Naruto watching her and blushed.
"How did I ever manage to deserve an angel like you?" Naruto asked.
Hinata smiled, blushing even deeper but finished getting dressed then sat in his lap
"You just got lucky," Hinata stated.
Naruto smiled, kissing her and she wrapped her arms around his neck. After several minutes, he pulled away and sighed.
"Right, war," Naruto sighed. "Fun fun."
"Don't worry," Hinata smiled. "I'll be cheering for you."
Naruto smiled, kissing her again before they stood, going into the bathroom and brushing their teeth before leaving the house and heading to the main gate where Sasuke was waiting with the Uzumaki, Uchiha, Jinchuriki who were all now wearing the uniforms Naruto had given themas was Naruto, the Konoha 11 that remained, Sai, Matsuri, Konan, Temujin, Shizuka, Suigetsu, Mangetsu, Minato, Kakashi, Tsunade, Jiraiya, Aoba, and Jugo.
"Alright," Naruto smiled. "Sorry we're late. We were-"
"We don't want to hear about it," Hiashi interrupted as the Hyugas also arrived. "Why does your Chakra Flow seem to think you have Byakugan?"
"I have the next step up now," Naruto stated turning to him and allowing the Genjutsu that had kept his Tenseigan hidden to fade. "The Tenseigan. It's like a cross between Rinnegan and Byakugan and also gives me other powers. I'm sure you'll all see soon enough."
"Most likely," Hiashi agreed. "We should go. Best not to keep the Forbidden waiting."
"Agreed," Naruto nodded.
"Hold on," Minato spoke up. "I let it rest for a bit because yesterday was Naruto and Hinata's wedding but-"
"Dad, he was allied with the Forbidden," Naruto stated. "Hiashi is not at fault. That problem has been dealt with."
"I...alright," Minato sighed. "In that case, let's get going."
Naruto nodded and they all headed out, Naruto taking the lead as he could sense the army of the Forbidden's creatures. When the trees fell away to the same barren wasteland where they had battled the Thirteen, they saw the army of creatures standing before them, anywhere from a hundred thousand to a million for as well as Naruto could count them. However, the real problem, was behind them. Twelve distinctive people stood on top of a stone spire in the center of the army. All twelve had been reanimated by the Forbidden, judging by the rotted decaying look of their bodies, the same as the Uchiha that had gone into the fog when the Hidden Leaf Village was attacked. And all twelve, were perfectly recognizable, even from the mile or more distance they were at.
"You've got to be kidding me," Naruto growled. "The Thirteen are here?"
"Twelve of them," Sasuke stated. "The Zero-tails isn't. They probably all got a power boost from the Forbidden, though."
"Undoubtedly," Naruto growled entering his Nine-tails Chakra mode then adding his Tenseigan Chakra Mode.
Everyone stared in shock at his new look as Naruto created a pair of rods from his spheres again.
"I'll handle the Thirteen and the Forbidden," Naruto stated. "Hinata, you, Tsunade, Sakura, and Ino will stay here. Tenten, you're going to defend them."
"You're letting Kushina go but not us?" Sakura complained.
"Kushina Uzumaki is a bit special," Naruto stated. "You see, in addition to the Uzumaki Kekkei Genkai, she was blessed with having another unique ability that she has, as of yet, kept hidden. You see, when Obito pulled the nine-tails out of her on the day of my birth, some of Kurama's chakra stayed, even if Kurama himself did not."
"What, so, she's a Pseudo Jinchuriki?" Sakura asked.
"Yes," Kushina smiled. "I am."
Suddenly, golden flames burst to life over her body, her hair rising in nine glowing tendril like sections, looking suspiciously like Kurama's tails. Aside from that, the shroud covering her flak jacket spread to a full-length coat and she formed a pair of chakra kunai from the shroud.
"You know, I never was able to learnt that," Naruto stated.
"I know," Kushina smiled.
Everyone moved to form a line with Naruto in the center and ahead just a bit. The creatures began to charge forward as all of the other Jinchuriki entered the highest level they could without becoming a full Tailed Beast. Then, everyone charged. Naruto slammed his foot into the ground as the creatures neared them, and the ground exploded skyward, launching numerous chunks of rubble skyward with at least a dozen creatures. Both the creatures and the rubble crashed back down in the Forbidden's army just as Naruto and his army tore into the creatures. Naruto sped ahead, easily tearing his way through the army, rods whipping through the air at the same time as the spheres, now divided into smaller ones, streaked around him, blasting anything he missed or anything that tried to get to him. Sasuke was shortly behind him, Susanoo using a sword to kill anything around Sasuke while its other two arms used a bow and Amaterasu Arrows to ignite groups of the creatures a distance away. The Jinchuriki, and Kushina, were after him, Fu using Samehada and B using his unique swords and style to fight. Behind them were the Uchiha, Nagato, and Konan, then came the Hyugas, Aoba, and Honoka, who had apparently been training with Aoba in kenjutsu. Behind them came the others.
Naruto leapt out of the army and flew at the stone spire, all of his spheres returning to him. The twelve fallen foes made no move to stop him. As Naruto neared them, Satori appeared in front of a surprised Naruto and smashed him back into the army of creatures, forming a massive crater. Naruto pushed himself up, letting his rods turn into spheres and using them to clear a space around him then drew his Sword of Kusanagi and his Double-Edged Sword.
"Is that Satori?" Sasuke shouted as he reached Naruto.
"Sure is," Naruto nodded. "Feel like throwing me?"
Sasuke nodded and had his Susanoo pick up and hurl Naruto at the demon bird. Naruto slashed at Satori as he passed but Satori avoided it, Naruto flying at the reincarnated shinobi instead. Just as Satori moved to chase Naruto, Naruto vanished, reappearing behind Satori, Sword of Kusanagi Blade already embedded deep enough in Satori's back that it was visible inside his mouth. Naruto extended the blade then spun, cutting Satori in half. Then, Naruto landed in the army of creatures, beginning to spin and slash, taking the creatures down rapidly. He was almost half the way to the stone spire but he knew the others would never survive if he didn't draw the army's attention. Fortunately, the army decided he was the only true threat, and all but ignored naruto's own army as it began to flood toward him.
