I do not own Naruto Shippuden or any of the characters. So, for those who haven't figured it out yet, the shroud Naruto has is similar to his Six Paths Chakra Shroud but with flames at the ends of his sleeves.
Stress Release
Naruto blocked several attacks from Hagoromo, each sending off a massive explosion of chakra, and after a moment, he shoved Hagoromo's staff away as Hagoromo teleported off to one side. Naruto spun, leaping directly at Hagoromo. Just as he slashed, Hagoromo appeared behind him, slashing at him. Naruto spun, blocking the staff then grabbed it and spun, hurling Hagoromo away before hurling the staff after him like a javelin. Hagoromo rolled out of the way and Naruto charged forward, slashing at Hagoromo as Hagoromo tried to avoid the attacks and stand at the same time. Finally he formed a second staff out of another sphere and slammed it into Naruto's side, blasting him away and climbing to his feet, letting the second staff shrink back to a sphere and walking over to his first staff. Just as he picked it up, he teleported away, narrowly escaping Naruto's sword. Naruto turned around, facing him and raising his sword, blocking Hagoromo's staff. Hagoromo roared in anger and kicked Naruto, blasting him backward. Naruto flipped in mid air, stopping himself and blocking Hagoromo's staff, which began to push him back.
"What's the matter Naruto?" Hagoromo snarled. "Can't use and Sage Techniques without having to stop using Senjutsu afterward?"
"Sorry," Naruto grinned. "I just figured I should let you think you'd win. Observe."
Naruto shoved the staff upward, kicking Hagoromo away before holding his hand out to the side and forming a Rasenshuriken with one of his spheres in the center. The sphere formed a fuma shuriken inside the Rasenshuriken and Naruto hurled it at Hagoromo. Hagoromo blocked it with his staff, the blades sparking against it for a moment before the staff split in half and the Rasenshuriken sped forward again, tearing a deep gash into his torso before he teleported away, barely escaping the explosion. Naruto's sphere returned to him and he smirked, letting his jian return to sphere form before making the same compressed sword Hinata had used to kill Toneri. Hagoromo flew at Naruto from his left and Naruto's blade suddenly erupted from his left arm, removing the arm altogether before the blade smashed straight through Hagoromo's newly repaired staff and then through Hagoromo's right lung. Hagoromo teleported away, coughing up blood as Naruto used Medical Ninjutsu to reattach his arm and heal the wound. Then, he reformed his sword and turned to Hagoromo.
"You bastard," Hagoromo growled floating into the air. "I'll kill you with my most powerful weapon. The sword of Nunoboko!"
Hagoromo held his right hand out, forming an enormous sword with a blade in the shape of a strand of DNA from all but one of his spheres. The last became an equally massive shield in his left hand. Naruto snorted in amusement, extending his own sword back to its natural length of about a hundred feet, even with Hagoromo's, and floated into the air until he was level with Hagoromo. Hagoromo slashed at Naruto who blocked it, shoving it upward and slashing at Hagoromo. Hagoromo blocked it with his shield but Naruto's sword cut the shield in half instantly. Hagoromo retracted his shield, adding the sphere to his sword. He slashed again and Naruto blocked it, shoving it sideways and flying forward, slashing at Hagoromo as he passed. Hagoromo managed to redirect Naruto's blade over his head and Naruto spun, slashing at Hagoromo's side. Hagoromo blocked it, shoving Naruto's blade aside and Naruto spun the other way, blade whipping around in a blurred arc, slashing at Hagoromo's other side. Hagoromo blocked the slash and then spun, slashing at Naruto. Naruto jumped, flipping out of the way, his own sword hitting Hagoromo's and giving it more momentum, keeping Hagoromo from blocking when Naruto flipped over and flew at him, slashing horizontally. Hagoromo teleported out of the way just in time for a Clone to smash a Rasengan the size of Kurama's entire body with his two halves combined into his back, blasting him into the ground. Hagoromo shrieked in pain and anger as the dust began to settle. Suddenly, his blade appeared out of the dust, whipping around at Naruto's. Naruto blocked it before it vanished, appearing just barely to his right and continuing. Naruto managed to hold his hand out and slowed the blade with a pulse of chakra just enough to let his sword fade and catch the blade, stopping it.
He shoved it away and reformed his sword as Hagoromo flew forward, stabbing at Naruto. Naruto swung his sword up, knocking Hagoromo's upward as well before slashing downward again. Hagoromo, unlike Toneri, reacted fast enough to block it, pulling his sword back down and then shoving it up at Naruto's to catch it with the forked end. The moment the blades met, a massive blast of chakra kicked up a massive cloud of dust as Naruto's blade began to split Hagoromo's down the middle. Hagoromo watched in stunned fear as the Sword of Nunoboko was split in half, teleporting out of the way at the last second and leaving his sword to be destroyed. The spheres deconstructed back to spheres and returned to him as he stared at Naruto in fear.
"What are you?" Hagoromo growled.
"I'm the man that has to stop the Forbidden once and for all," Naruto stated. "I'm the guy, that's about to kill you."
Hagoromo held his hand out, forming the same sword as Naruto had and both compressed their blades. Hagoromo made his with one sphere left, however, leaving himself his staff in his left hand and Naruto drew his Sword of Kusanagi in his own left. Hagoromo flew forward, slashing at Naruto with the sword and Naruto blocked it with his own, a blast of chakra shoving them both apart before blasting everything around them. They flew forward again and slashed with their other weapons, sparks flying just before their blades met again. This blast of chakra, however, formed a pitch black sphere around them, one Sasuke had seen once before.
"Everyone get back!" Sasuke shouted, turning and fleeing with everyone that had followed Naruto to battle.
They had long defeated the army of creatures, thanks to the nine puppets and the one remaining clone that were still with them. Now, Naruto's army waited until they were needed. Just as they got clear, a massive rift opened and millions more creatures began to stream through, all full of energy and ready to massacre the weary shinobi before them. Before they could attack, the rift closed and the Allied Shinobi Forces arrived in full, tearing into the creatures rapidly.
"Sorry we're late," A apologized, appearing in front of Minato. "We had to take the time to pick up your village."
"Naruto was the one who decided to leave them," Minato stated. "But thank you for finally showing up. Would you mind cleaning up?"
"Sure," A nodded. "Who's he fighting?"
"The Sage of the Six Paths, who is now under the control of the Forbidden," Tsunade stated.
Just then, the sphere expanded rapidly before exploding, all but leveling the area the army had been before relocating.
Naruto shoved Hagoromo's sword away, looking around the sphere they were in. They're swords gave off enough light to see and they were fighting by it but Hagoromo's staff was difficult at best to see when he swung it. Hagoromo slashed again, another burst of chakra shooting out but being contained inside the sphere to be released with every other blast that had been released by them. Naruto began to slash in a flurry of blades, sparks, and blasts of chakra. Hagoromo was an exceptional sword fighter, but he was growing tired. Naruto was as well, he could feel his sword weakening and his Sage Mode running out, despite him still gathering Nature Energy as they fought, elongating his time in Sage Mode. Hagoromo swung at Naruto with his staff and Naruto slashed it with his glowing gold sword, destroying it. Then, Hagoromo slashed at him with his own. Naruto spun, blocking the slash. Hagoromo pulled his sword back and stabbed at Naruto. Naruto slashed upward, knocking the blade upward but instead of going all the way as before, he instead flew forward when the blade was pointed at Hagoromo, stabbing him. Hagoromo coughed out blood, his sword fading and the sphere began to expand, cracks forming before it exploded, the chakra pent up inside finally escaping in one, massive and destructive explosion. When it cleared, Naruto lay on his back, badly wounded by the blast as Hagoromo lay a short distance from him, dead.
"Naruto!" Hinata shouted as she and Sasuke appeared beside him, Sasuke using his Gelel Stone to heal Naruto.
Naruto sat up, looking around then down at himself, seeing he had exited his Chakra Shrouds. Just as he stood, the sky turned blood red, black goo began to ooze up from the ground and everything began to shake.
"Shit!" Naruto shouted. "It's him!"
