Amazingly, it's here! Thanks to anybody and everybody whom told me to hurry up. It's quite hard to forget about it when people actually WANT you to update. Anyway, it's here! Sorry for the long time, I don't REALLY have an accuse, and I'm wasting you time, so let's get to it! ALSO, there's a bit of an exposition dump at the start, so... yeah.

Dark Pit groaned, sitting up. He was in a small room, and the walls were decked with vines. He was on a bed, which was quite comfertable. In front of him was a doorway, without a door. He heard a flutter of wings, and Ignast appeared in the doorway.
"Your awake!" Ignast yelled happily.
"I suppose?" Dark Pit said. His head felt a little odd. "How long have I been out?"
"3 days," Ignast said, counting them on his fingers.
"3 days!?" Dark Pit yelled. "What's been happening!?"
"Hades launched an attack on the phoenix to get the wish seed," Ignast began.
"Wish seed?!" Dark Pit said, with a little greed in his voice.
"It was just a trick," said a girl's voice, "and Pit and Palutena took it."
"Who are you?" Dark Pit said.
"Viridi, goddess of nature!" said the voice. "Of course, the humans were also tricked."
"Viridi?" Dark Pit said. "Can't say I've heard of you."
"Considering you were born just last a few days ago, I don't blame you," Viridi said with a laugh.
"You aren't in Pandora's memories either," Dark Pit said.
"I don't think she's in Prometheus'," Iganst said, "but I've never been good at channeling his power."
"Well I wouldn't work with those underworld goons now would I? I'm the Goddess of Nature! What do they care about nature!?"
"Point taken," Dark Pit said, "so why did you bring us in?"
"Because Hades is taking this too far!" Viridi yelled, "he's destroying the world just for fun!"
"Right, so what happened after the wish seed, Ignast?" Dark Pit asked.
"Then Viridi launched an attack on the humans," Iganst said. Dark Pit raised an eyebrow.
"Why?"
"They've strayed too far from their intended path," Viridi said, "they MUST be destroyed!"
"But… aren't they, like, the main species on Earth?" Dark Pit asked.
"NO! They PUT themselves there!" Viridi said angrily.
"Anyway," Iganst said, "she dropped a Reset Bomb-"
"A way for me to put things back to normal," Viridi said.
"and Pit and Palutena stopped her commander Cragalanch," Ignast continued.
"And then those two destroyed my Reset Bomb factory!" Viridi yelled.
"And then we come to today, were Viridi won't tell us what's happening."
"Actually, I've been thinking about it," Viridi said, "and I've decided that I may be able to."
"How so?" Dark Pit asked.
"I was just going to let you free, but I have a message from one of my commanders for you," Viridi said, "if you do as it states, I'd like you to do a favor for me."
"What does the message say?"
"It states that Pit is storming the lunar sanctum, and Arlon would like you to… entertain him for a while."
"I'm there!" Dark Pit said, summoning the silver bow.
"Not so fast," said Viridi, "You need to do a favor for me."
"What is it?"
"It isn't likely to happen, but…" Viridi took a deep breath. "If Pit defeats Arlon then the Lunar Sanctum's power is depleted. The Lunar Sanctum is actually a giant Prison for the Chaos Kin, if the Chaos kin escapes I want YOU to go after it."
"What does-"
"Doesn't matter, I'll send you to the next room Pit's going to be in, bye!" Viridi said, hurriedly, and the world melted around Dark Pit.
He was in a room with a large blue sphere. In front of him was a red door, which suddenly opened. Pit ran through the door.
"Pittoo!" he said, quickly stopping.
"Seriously, that is the last time I want to hear 'Pittoo!'" Dark Pit said, pulling out his silver bow and detaching the two sides. He jumped at Pit, slashing, which Pit parried.
"Arlon, did you call Pittoo" (Dark Pit growled) "here?" Palutena asked.
"I most certainly did," came a man's voice in Dark Pit's head, whom he could only assume was Arlon. Dark Pit jumped back and shot at Pit, which Pit just dodged.
"He's not usually one to follow orders, how did you persuade him?" Pit shot at Dark Pit with a Burst Blade. Dark Pit shot at it. His shot collided with Pit's and both of the shots disappeared.
"It was quite simple, actually. Just the mention of young master Pit's presence...was enough to send his twin running here." Arlon said. Dark Pit let out a small laugh.
"Pittoo just isn't happy unless he's fighting someone."
"You say that like it's a bad thing," Dark Pit said, but that second of hesitation caused Pit to get a hit in. A charged shot hit Dark Pit's arm, and pain shot up the arm.
"You stay out of this!" Pit said, jumping at the blue sphere and slashing at it. Dark Pit activated the power of flight for a few moments and flew at Pit, tackling him. Dark Pit held up his bow-knife, attempting to stab Pit, but Pit managed to push Dark Pit off him. Pit shot at Dark Pit while getting further away. Dark Pit reattached his bow, and shot at Pit. Pit however, had a plan. He put his hand up into the air and yelled- "PALUTENA!" A blue barrier appeared in front of Pit, which Dark Pit's shot hit and turned around, hitting Dark Pit back. He was pushed into the wall, and the world melted around him. He reappeared inside a hallway. To his right was a large cage. Inside the cage was one of the most repulsing thing Dark Pit had seen. It was some kind of insect, which had six legs. It had a scorpion-like tail and four gooey wings. The best comparison Dark Pit could think of was if you put a spider, scorpion and moth together in the most repulsing way possible, then that would be the thing. It was a good bet this was the Chaos Kin Viridi spoke of. Dark Pit watched it for a few minutes. It kept crashing into the sides of the cage, as if it wanted to get out. Suddenly Dark Pit heard a large explosion, and a cracks began to appear in the ground. Arlon had been defeated. Dark Pit summoned Tiger Claws and waited. The Chaos Kin made one last attempt to break free, banging his entire body against the bars, and made it. Dark Pit jumped onto the bug, which was about as big as him, and attacked it with his claws, pummling it. The Chaos Kin didn't even flinch, but instead started to fly. Dark Pit latched himself into the Chaos Kin as it flew down the hallway, making sharp turns in an attempt to get Dark Pit off. Dark Pit held on, and dispelled his claws, instead summoning his bow, which already had two detached sides. He quickly stabbed these into the Chaos Kin, who screeched in pain and began to make random rolls in midair, trying to get Dark Pit off. Dark Pit held onto the bow-knives and was trying to push them in further. Suddenly, the Chaos Kin made a sharp turn to the right, and rammed straight into a wall. This had the intended affect. Dark Pit smacked into the wall while the Chaos Kin, somehow still alive, carved a tunnel through the walls. Dark Pit fell over, waiting for the throbbing pain in his head to go away. Slowly, he got up and jumped through a hole in the wall into space, where he activated the power of flight. He knew that, as much as he hated taking orders, Viridi was right. That bug had to be stopped. He flew down to Earth, as the Lunar Sanctum broke behind him.
