5.A Very Moody Moody
after the fiasco at the library, harry and ron were banned for 2days ( lavender was banned for 20 years which didn't make much sense since she would be graduating in three years anyway)
harry lied to ron that he needed to take remidial potions and while ron was wasting his life doing nothing infront of the common room fire, harry sneaked towards the owlery and wrote a letter to sirius
Hi snuffles
i hope you and buckbeak are okay
and hope you didn't get a stomachache after eating all those rats
things here are getting very weird
people are acting strange around me
they're all nice to me-harry paused, and thought if he wrote it like this, sirius might get the wrong idea and think harry was an outcast
everyone, not to mention all the slytherins are suddenly nice to me
malfoy even bought me the finest honeydukes chocolate, and after i checked with hermione, we found out that it wasn't jinxed, cursed, poisoned, or stale!
it's as if they're all playing a joke on me or something
i know it sounds really silly
but what do you think this means?
say hi to buckbeak for me, and if you meet peter pettigrew, give him a good kick up the **** for me

harry tied the letter to a barn owl and watched it fly away.
at that moment a hufflepuff fourth year came bursting through the owlery door
"hi...ha...r..ry"she was panting
"professor moody told me to go and get you."
"me?"harry said bewildered
"yup" she said, "follow me"
harry didn't know why professor moody might be calling him(maybe it was to tell harry about constant vigillance for the 592nd time)
as they walked along the halls the girl chatted non stop
"hi harry i'm fern payne it's kind of weird that we haven't met for four years right?it's not like the castle's that big right?"
"um..yeah fern"harry said(she reminded him of a girl version of colin creevy)
"i mean it's so weird you haven't been asked out until now...you are single..riiiiight?"
"um...yeah i am."
"cool :3"
harry couldn't have been happier to find himself infront of professor moody's office
"wait a sec"fern said, taking out a piece of parchment from her robes
and, to harry's astonishment she broke into song
hey harry i just met you, so this is crazy
but here's my adress, so owl me maybe~~~:)
and with that, she handed harry a piece of parchment and dashed off, red in the face.
harry stood there for a full 10 seconds, then shoved the parchment in to his robes, and went into professor moody's office.
the dark detectors were swirling normally, and the foe glass was showing odd formations , as expected
the only thing that wasn't expected was professor moody.
he was looking out the window
harry closed the door behind him and professor moody turned back and looked at him
"hello potter"
"sir, you wanted to see me?"
"yes , have a seat."
harry took a seat infront of moody's desk, and moody sat across him
harry didn't know that inside moody's head, there was a furious battle raging
"he's the one that brought the downfall of the dark lord!"
"he didn't mean to, you know that"
"all the same, it's his fault that your master is weak and in the arms of pettigrew in your dad's house"
"but he's such a nice boy"
"are you a pedophile?"
"shut up"
in the end, moody made his mind
"listen, potter, there's something i haven't told you"
harry looked at him
"sir?"
"i...i have something to confess"moody said, shaking a little
"i hope you can accept me as the man i really am"
"sir, what are you-"
"MY BOY!"moody shouted, clutching harry's shoulders "i...i am not mad eye moody"
one more minute left until the polyjuice potion wears out...he thought to himself
"sir should i get madam pomfre-"
"please potter! just wait and see i... i hope you do not hate me for the man i am, the real me"
harry was so scared he ran from the office, slamming the door behind him
at that precise moment moody transformed in to barty crouch JR(the magical eyeball falling off)
"I KNEW IT!"barty crouch JR wailed as he cried into his hands "my dad never loved me, why should he?"
"you okay there imposter?"asked a voice from inside a trunk
