Ok! It's here! I'm going to do weekly updates from now on, but in return the chapters will be a bit shorter, so it's a trade off. However, you'll actually get more story as far as I can tell, so YAY! Aaaand I'm out of clever stuff to say. Huh.
DISCLAIMER: I OWN NOTHING! (Except Ignast, and all the scenes in this chapter!)
Dark Pit ducked as Ignast and Magnus swung their weapons. They narrowly missed. Dark Pit swung at Ignast's wolf claws, hitting them off his hand. Dark Pit tripped Ignast, by hitting his legs aside. Dark Pit took this chance to fire above Ignast's head and the Chaos Kin fell out of the sky. Dark Pit ran to hit the Chaos Kin, but Magnus slammed his club into Dark Pit's back, and Dark Pit fell to the ground. He growled, slicing at Magnus's giant blade. His bow slid off it, not doing anything. Annoyed, Dark Pit turned to Magnus.
"Sorry," Dark Pit said, jumping at Magnus. Magnus swung his blade, but Dark Pit, anticipating it, jumped on top of it, and ran down it, slamming his foot into Magnus's face. Dark Pit turned to the Chaos Kin, which was beginning to fly into the air again. Dark Pit jumped at the Chaos Kin, grabbing onto it's feet. Dark Pit stabbed his silver bow into it's underside, and it screeched. "God!" Dark Pit yelled, "you just won't die!"
The Chaos Kin shrieked, flying towards Dark Pit, who rolled out of the way. The Chaos Kin ran straight into Ingast, who was just getting up. Dark Pit took this chance to summon his Dark Pit staff, and fire it at the Chaos Kin, who fell back. Ignast, however, got up and summoned the Pheonix arm. Dark Pit smirked and jumped at Ignast. He deflected his bow with the Dark Pit staff, then kicked him aside. He fired at the Chaos Kin, and hit one of it's wings. The Chaos Kin fell down again, trying to regenerate. "WHY WON'T YOU DIE!?" Dark Pit screamed shooting again, hitting it in the head. "I would've killed a human a million times by now! JUST DIE ALREADY!" Dark Pit shot again, once again hitting it in the head. Dark Pit roared in anger, summoning the Samurai blade, and ran up to the Chaos Kin, slashing at it wildely.
Suddenly, two green orbs fell to the ground, out of it's feet. Magnus and Ignast's souls. Dark Pit grabbed them, running back to them. He threw them, and, automatically, the orbs flew into their owner's chests. Immediatly, they both stumbled, but got up almost immediately after.
"Sorry Dark Pit!" Ignast said. "He took over us-"
"Not a problem," Dark Pit said, "He got me too, lets go."
"Wait," Magnus said, "if he got you, how did you…" he shook his head. "Never mind. Let's move." The trio ran at the Chaos Kin, but the Chaos Kin dodged their attacks, only being hit sometimes. It was almost creepy.
"How is he dodging all these!?" Ignast yelled. "He was hit so easily before!"
"I think there's someone backing him up," Dark Pit said, as he had picked up on a god's energies. "But who…"
"That we be THE PYRRHON!" said a voice. Dark Pit skidded to a stop. A giant fireball fell down next to the Chaos Kin. The ensuing ashes revieled a tall man made entirely of fire. The man laughed. "So you are here to stop Pyyrhon? No matter!"
"We aren't here to stop you," Dark Pit said, "we just want the bug."
"Ah, but this magnificent creature is what Pyrrhon needs to become all powerful!"
"Who is this idiot and why is he here?" Ignast asked.
"I have no idea," Dark Pit sighed. He jumped at Pyrrhon, but suddenly froze in middair.
"Don't try to interfere now! And now, little angels and mortal! Watch as Pyrrhon brings the Aurum here!" Pyyrhon said, laughing. He looked at the Chaos Kin, who flew up into the sky. The Chaos Kin started to fly in circles, creating a visible circle. The Chaos Kin slowed down, creating a visible ring the color of the Chaos vortex. Pyrrhon flew beneath it. He put his hands up, pointing it toward the ring. "PYROCANNON!" He yelled, pointing his hands into the air. A jet of fire shot out of his hands, entering the ring. Time seemed to stop for a second, and then there was a flash of light.
Though Dark Pit couldn't see it, the light was that bright, he sensed a giant pillar of flame, erupting out of the ring and flying out of the Earth, visible to any entiety in space. "Pyrrhon thanks you, creature of Chaos!" Pyrrhon said, and he shot up into space. Dark Pit fell to the ground, able to move again. The Chaos Kin made a rip in time space, creating a portal to the Chaos Vortex, and jumped through it. Dark Pit, Magnus, and Ignast jumped through as well. The Chaos Kin ran, jumping from floating island to floating island.
Dark Pit followed quickly, with the other two following close behind. Dark Pit was counting the minutes. 15 was an entire day… Dark Pit was getting ever so slightly closer to the Chaos Kin, but even with the power of flight active, he needed to get there faster. Closer… closer… 13 minutes… Dark Pit was half way there… 14 minutes… getting closer… 15 minutes… the Chaos Kin was starting to panic, flapping it's wings faster… 25 minutes… almost there… 26… he could almost grab it's tail… 27… faster… 28… the Chaos Kin flew above a wall, Dark Pit just missed it, losing valuable inches. 29… go faster! Dark Pit slammed into the Chaos Kin just as he hit 30. Two days had gone by in 30 minutes... the Chaos Kin squirmed and tore a rift to the real world, falling through it. Dark Pit followed.
They were in a field with a town to the left. The Chaos Kin, however, seemed to sense something, and began to fly upwards. Dark Pit activated the power of flight, flying after it. He flew above the clouds. Here he saw a giant, floating temple. They had come to Skyworld. The Chaos Kin was flying toward the largest area. Dark Pit didn't hesitate. He flew after it.
So, if you're confused by this time dilation stuff, we're around the final aurum chapter at the moment. (Yes, I'm using the time dilation as a means to skip chapters I can't think of content for.
