Thor flew the plane with Loki as his co-pilot, and from the incessant, argumentative bickering emanating from the cockpit, she could tell that the partnership was not going too well.

She held her arm out in front of Tony who sat next to her with sunglasses over his eyes, soldering the circuitry together in a rushed patch job.

"Do those two do anything but argue?" Tony asked her as she held her arm straight out. She winced every time he began to solder, the number Loki did on her arm, while helpful for some things, sucked for others.

"And here was me thinking that they were practicing for a play," Bella remarked snidely.

Sif watched intently as Tony patched Bella's arm, half confusion and half admiration, "what exactly happened to you?"

"Why do you care?" Bella snapped, her face twisting with the pain in her arm. Yes, it was useful to feel in her metal side, but she couldn't help but thinking that in other ways, such as repairs, it was a major drawback.

"Bella, stop moving, you're distracting me," Tony snapped, grabbing her metallic arm and holding it completely still for a moment, "hold it right there, and don't move."

"Okay, I'll try to forgo breathing," She bit back.

"I am just curious," Sif explained.

Bella sighed, "okay," she leaned forward, "you guys are all immortal and stuff so you may not understand how . . . fragile the human form is," she flinched again, "I got crushed by a car, and I figure you've seen those before."

"Yes."

"I was captured by the enemy, and I suppose you also know what happens to someone when they are caught by the enemy."

Sif smiled awkwardly, "unfortunately."

"Let's not talk about this anymore."

In the cockpit, Loki was fighting down the insatiable urge to beat the living Hel out of his brother, "you're flying too low, Thor," he said simply, rolling his eyes.

"Do not tell me what to do the thing I do best."

"I do not and have never told you how to eat," he narrowed his eyes, "and if you bring up that thing about quote unquote 'actually' being able to fly, I will have to ask you to step outside, and considering the drop."

Thor narrowed his eyes, "I suppose you still think that you are the better pilot."

"I don't think it, Thor, I know it," he replied snidely, "you are completely useless without Mjolnir. Who broke into the Vault?"

"I helped you."

"Who did all the cunning planning?" Loki countered.

Thor was nearly beaten, "I am not completely useless without my hammer, you know."

"No, you're more like a recently neutered dog that sits in the corner licking the hole and whimpering," Loki bit back, "now, climb up above the clouds and follow my directions."
