I'm on time again. Wow! I recently got a twitter account ( /Link100200) so I'm surprised I was actually on time! Anyway, this chapter is less on action, and I'm aware time makes no sense in this chapter. I don't care. So, PREPARE TO READ.
DISCLAIMER: I OWN NOTHING! (Except my OC's)
Dark Pit jumped out the door, before remembering he couldn't use the power of flight. He started to fall, but he felt a tug on his wings and was pulled up to the door. Haizina stepped out smugly, holding up her hand, which was surrounded by a dark aura.
"When will I be able to fly again?" Dark Pit whined.
"I dunno, not really my problem," Haizina said. "I just need to bring you to Medusa.
"Fine," Dark Pit said. "Could you at least summon a silver bow for me?" Haizina snapped her fingers and a silver bow appeared in Dark Pit's hand. "Thanks."
"So are we going?" came Ignast's voice, and he flew through the door with grace.
"Yes," Haizina said. "Let's go!" She started to fly downward, and Dark Pit and Ignast followed. They flew through the same crevice that Dark Pit and Ignast had gone through to get to the underworld. The went the same way, going into the Underworld. The barrier blocked them, but Haizina put up her hand, and it was dispelled. They flew into Medusa's castle, and Haizina took a turn to a dark corridor.
"Haizina?" came the voice of Medusa.
"Yes lady Medusa, I brought Dark Pit."
"What do you want?" Dark Pit asked. He was sent slamming into the wall by Haizina.
"Be respectful!" she said. "This is the goddess of darkness!"
"It doesn't matter," said Medusa. "Now, perhaps a little light so our friend may see?" Ignast lit a small fire on his finger, illuminating a cage, with the goddess of darkness inside.
"Why does Hades have you imprisoned?" Dark Pit asked.
"He believes that I would be a threat to his rule," Medusa said, "which I would, of course."
"Naturally," Dark Pit agreed. "So, what do you want?"
"I would like your help to defeat Hades," Medusa explained. "If I die in the attempt, you may keep my powers."
"I'm liking this," Dark Pit said. "But what happens if you don't die?"
"You will be in the same position as Haizina, a last resort," Medusa said.
"OK," Dark Pit said, "and what does 'helping you defeat Hades' mean, exactly."
"You are thorough," Medusa said. "Simple, release me, help me get to Hades, and watch as I bash his head in."
"And how do I know you're aren't lying?"
"By saying this, I have activated a sacred oath, if I do not follow it, I will become powerless, less than nothing. And you may do what you want."
"Fine," Dark Pit said, "I will do it."
"Right," Haizina said, glancing over her shoulder nervously. "Lady Medusa, we are in the underworld, and Hades wants us all dead."
"Of course," Medusa said. "Besides, these bars won't break by any of your weapons. You know Dyntos, the weapon smith, I assume?"
"Yes," Dark Pit said.
"He can make you a blade which can cut through any enchantment," Medusa said. "Go to him, and prove yourselves however he wishes."
"Understood," Haizina said. "Now, Dark Pit, we better get going."
"Right," Dark Pit said. They quickly flew out of the castle, and prepared to leave."
"Dark Pit!" came Viridi's voice. "I need your help!"
"What is it?" Dark Pit asked. "I have things to do!"
"Pit was… swallowed by Hades!" Viridi said.
"So, just send an army in," Dark Pit said.
"I would, but your way closer! I don't know how much time he has! Tell you what? If you do this, I'll let you have the Lightning Chariot."
"Fine," Dark Pit said, and the chariot appeared in front of him. He jumped on it. "Let's go!" He spurred the unicorns on and sailed into the darkness of the underworld. Eventually, he found the god.
"Why hello there Pittoo, come to play?" Hades asked as he tried to scratch at Dark Pit with his claws.
"Not today Hades," Dark Pit said, and he rammed right through his stomach, flying through the insides. No sign of Pit. Dark Pit closed his eyes and tried to see where Pit was. Something was blocking him.
"No telepathic messages can get in or out," Viridi told him. "I've already tried."
"What kind of body is this!?" Dark Pit yelled as he weaved in and out of the god of the underworld's body, trying to find.
"My very skin is as hard as diamond!" Hades said. "Your little messages have no chance of getting to Pitty! Now then, I'm bored. I think I'll have another snack!" He started to try to inhale Dark Pit, but Dark Pit used the power of the inhale as a boost, flying straight through Hades' head.
"My troops are reaching your location Dark Pit!" Viridi informed him a few minutes later. "You ready or what?"
"Let's do it!" Dark Pit said, as he saw a swarm of the forces of Nature appear, taking Hades's attention. Dark Pit continue to look around, before he heard a loud explosion, and Hades clutched his chest. Dark Pit wheeled toward it. Dark Pit went through, grabbing Pit, then quickly getting out of there. Hades let out a loud cry of pain.
"If it weren't for that explosion, I never would have found you!" Dark Pit remarked.
"I'm sure glad you did!" Pit said.
"That wasn't very nice!" Hades said, lunging at the two. Dark Pit spurred on the chariot, while Pit teleported away. Dark Pit turned around, ready to go back to his friends, but he would have to get passed Hades. He went as fast as the chariot would let him. He slammed into Hades's palm.
"Look at the bug I caught!" Hades said, laughing. He closed his hand around Dark Pit, and he was teleported away.
Dark Pit woke up in a dark room, groaning. He looked around.
"Well," came a familiar voice, "tell me, Dark Pit, how you are supposed to help me while you are captive with me?" Dark Pit looked up to see the face of Medusa staring down at him.
Bit light on action, huh? Well, plenty in the next episode. Also, as you can probably tell, we're nearing the end of this story. So, I was wondering... would you guys (and girls) like to see a fan fiction sequel to Kid Icarus Uprising from me, considering this canon? If so, from Dark Pit or Pit's perspective? Or maybe someone else completely? Feel free to PM me, and make sure you note any canonical or grammatical errors! Don't forget to review, and I'll see you next week!
