I pushed him away from me and he apologized and I went back to the hotel. I laid down on the bed and fell asleep to later be awoken by Zack.
"Hey sorry I didn't mean to wake you up." Zack said
"Yeah maybe if you would have been back sooner you wouldn't have woken me up." I spat back
"Maya I'm sorry my boss is a fucking ass. I would quit my job but what else would I do? I want to have a normal life and I want our kids to have two working parents. It's just right now work comes first.." Zack said
"Work comes first?!" I asked pissed off
"I didn't mean it like that Maya. But I'm here for work and you know that. If they need me now I have to go or else I get fired." Zack said
"Well since all you seem to care about is work then I guess you could care less about me or our kids." I said and then fells asleep
The next day I toured Rome again and a few hours were with Zack. Until his boss called him in. Tonight was our last night here and so far I wished I was back home in Boston with our kids. Zack and I left tomorrow at 1pm.
I decided to be crazy and put that dress on. It was black and cloth it had a low v neck and it was long sleeve. In side of the dress came down a little before my knee and the other side stopped upper thigh. I waited for Zack to get back and finally at 3:38am he came in.
"Why are you back so late?" I asked
"The fucking building was built wrong and now I'm going over all the drawing to see what went wrong. But forget about that. You look beautiful Maya and in sorry I haven't been able to spend any time with you. So this summer I am taking you and my brother and Bailey here for a week."
"Let's just enjoy the time that we have now." I said kissing him
Zack took his shirt off and then tried to find a condom. Cody didn't pack any and Zack didn't have any.
"Cody didn't pack any conforms!" Zack said pissed
Just then his phone rang. He talked for a minute or two then hung up putting his shirt on.
"Another emergency.." He said kissing my head then leaving
I took off the dress and got into my pajamas and then fell asleep and I was woken up at 11am by Zack and we left for the airport. At 1pm the plane was taking off.
I was in a window seat and Zack was in the aisle seat with nobody in the middle. I had my head leaned up against the window ignoring Zack and I did that for three hours until I fell asleep thankfully. When I woke up we had only two more hours.
"Hey I'm sorry.. Can we talk? Anything is better then silence." Zack said
I ignored him and then the plane started hitting turbulence. I was kinda freaked out but never would admit that to Zack. I think he knew because he moved to the middle seat and put his hand in my thigh. I smiled lightly at his and then put my head on his shoulder and whispered in his ear, "Was it work or was it you not wanting to have sex with me?"
Zack's POV:
As the plan hit turbulence I knew Maya hated it but she would never tell me.
So I moved to the seat closer to her and I placed my hand of her thigh. I hated my boss for ruining this trip for us. Just then Maya put her head on my shoulder and I put my arm around her as she whispered in my ear, "Was it work or was it you not wanting to have sex with me?"
I never thought that it would seem that way but now that I thought about it, it did. It made it seem like I rejected my wife and it made me feel like a total dick.
I whispered back, "It was work and I will make it up to you. I promise that it had nothing to do with you."
The plane landed and pretty soon we were in Cody's car going back home. The first thing I said was, "Brosph you knew we were going to Rome and you didn't pack any condoms?"
"No I didn't think they were necessary considering all the history and artifacts there to see."
Same Cody. He'll never change,.. Ever.
"Well you have a lot to learn about what to do at night when your alone with your wife in a different country."
Cody dropped us off and we paid Cody and Bailey and mailed a check to Carey. They all left and the kids were asleep. Maya started laundry and I put the suitcases away. We both finally fell asleep and woke up a few hours later by screaming kids. Maya was up with them and I got up and walked out to have Aliah hugging me. I picked her up and carried to Maya and she handed me a plate of eggs.
"Thanks." I said to my wife
I ate and then went to see the other kids. Maya then came in and Tyler went to her and she picked him up and carried him out. While she did this I couldn't help but think how lucky I am to have Maya and how much hell I've put her through. Especially with the Olivia thing she has no idea about. As two year old Caden came and sat by me and gave me a car and said, "Daddy we race."
"Okay." I said and obviously I acted like I was trying but I let him win
I continued to play with Caden and he reminded me so much of me when I was younger. It still amazes me that Maya and I created him and how amazing he is along with the rest of our kids. Growing up I never really thought about having kids, I thought more about how many girls I could have. That's one thing I'm going to make sure Caden doesn't turn into a player like I did.
"Zack, come here!" Yelled Maya
"I'll be right back, get the next race set up." I told my son leaving to go to the kitchen where Maya was.
"Yeah?" I asked entering
"Well I just got off the phone with Addison. She's pregnant with their first baby."
"Woodster finally did it!" I said laughing
"Their baby shower is in four months in Ohio." Maya said
"Tell them we'll be there." I said going back to my son
That night at dinner we were all eating and Aliah asks, "Daddy, Hayley told me that mommy and you didn't like each other when you had me. Is that true?" She asked
"Can we talk about this after dinner?" Maya asked
"Yeah." She said
After dinner after all the kids went to play and Maya was talking to Aliah.
Maya's POV:
"When you were born mommy was very young. I was only 18 when I had you. In high school your daddy was my boyfriend and I really liked him. But I broke up with him because I was going to go to school far away. Then I found out you were in my tummy." I was telling my seven year old daughter
She was nodding and paying attention.
"Then I told your daddy that you were in my tummy and he was going to be your daddy."
"Was he happy?" Aliah asked
"He was very happy!" I said
"Anyways since we weren't dating anymore he met a new girl that he liked and dated her. We were going to college in different states so he couldn't see you because it cost a lot of money go fly to come see you. But when he saw you he spend every minute of it with you. Then after that your daddy was my boyfriend again. We both love you so much and we love each other and all your other siblings. Okay?" I asked
"Okay mommy! I love you too!" She said and I hugged her and then carried her to Zack who grabbed her and said, "Come on princess, let's go play with Emma." Zack took the two girls to go play and I went and gave Caden and Tyler a bath.
Caden kept trying to splash Tyler and push him over. He was a mini Zack. Once they were out and in their pajama we read a book and I put them in their cribs. The girls came in and said goodnight then Zack did.
After the girls were in bed Zack and I went down to the pool and sat in the hot tub.
Another week went by and today I was meeting Hayley at MK wedding so she could get a dress. It was supposed to happen a long time ago but she drew and dress she wanted and Katie designed it. Now she was trying it on.
"Maya, what do you think?" She asked
"It's so beautiful on you. I can't believe you're getting married, it makes me feel so old."
Hayley hugged me and then we went out for lunch.
"So Maya... Are you having anymore kids?" Hayley asked
"Not right now. When Aliah is about 13 Zack and I want one more baby. We had all our kids so young their all be gone before we're 50."
That night I got home and all the kids were in bed. I saw Zack working. He looked up and saw me in my dress from Rome.
"Maya you look beautiful." Zack said picking me up. This was his room downstairs where he worked.
He put me on one of the counters where he usually had plans on. I wrapped my legs around him and we made out. Then I took of his white t shirt and threw it across the room. Then once we were almost naked his phone rang. He walked away and showed me it was his boss. He turned his phone off and said, "Not this time."
We continued and then after I didn't want to put my dress back on so I put my bra and things on and wore Zack's shirt which was big on me. He put his bottom stuff on and went and sat back in his office chair. I went and sat on his lap and he called his boss back.
They talked for like five minutes and then Zack went in his computer and went to his email and he opened a message up from Kallie.
"Read this." He said and I did I looked at Zack and...
