A/N I'm back with another chapter of ETD, and I am extremely so please excuse errors…
"I have nothing to say" Tigress said.
"We think so, you have been acting strange lately, and first you were hateful towards Niko, now you can't get enough of him, and you are constantly worrying about him, why is that, what are you not telling us?" Viper said.
"It's none of your business." Tigress said.
"I thought we were friends, we were sisters…" she said.
Tigress now felt a little sorry…
"I am sorry, but it is complicated, and you really wouldn't understand." Tigress said.
"That's what friends are for, Tigress, we would be better off knowing what's going on" Viper said.
The others quietly watched from a safe distance…
"Viper, it's not you, it's me. I wish I could tell you, but none of you would ever think of me the same way ever again…" Tigress said looking down.
"That's not true, and I think that goes for all of us when I say that…" Viper said nodding towards the others, and slithering forward.
Tigress looked at them, and they nodded in unison.
She straightened up and looked at Viper "Ok… me and Niko, are in love, we can't live without each other, and I can't help but be scared for him, his 'brothers' are going to get him killed, and I am trying to stop that from happening.." She said shocking everyone.
All of their mouths fell open, and Tigress crossed her arms.
There was a moment of silence.
"Well… that's a surprise… I never would had thought… I am happy for both of you; but I have my concerns though..." Viper said
Tigress starred at her.
"Look… just don't let him ruin your focus on Kung Fu, keep your mind on the protection of the Valley." Viper said.
Tigress sighed "I will, but just know that I could never put him second to anything" Tigress said.
"What about us" Viper asked gesturing to the others and then looking back at Tigress.
Tigress sighed "please don't make me answer that".
"We are worried, about you, you aren't performing as well in training, we are scared this may be a reflection of when bandits attack the village, though we have been fortunate since he showed up that none have attacked lately, but when they do, we have to be ready." Viper said.
Tigress looked like she felt… offended.
"Now look here, I am more than capable of handling any threat that comes to the valley." She said.
"Ok, but Tigress please stay on the right path" Viper said.
"I-" she was cut off by a familiar out of breath voice.
"Masters, masters" Zeng said as he hit the ground.
"What is it Zeng" Po said as they gathered them.
"Foreigner… foreigner gone… you are needed!" Zeng said.
The masters all looked at each other.
Just minutes ago…
The wanderer walked at a quick pace he came to the doctor's office, he opened the door and came in…
It was a waiting room with several people waiting , and a desk with a goat on the other side of the room, there was a hallway to his right.
"Hello sir how may I help you" a male goat asked with a smile.
"If you could I would have to kill you" The Wanderer said walking past the desk down the hall.
The goat was shocked and so were all of the patients.
But the Wanderer ignored them and began walking down the hallway. He looked in every room.
He saw a Monkey come out of a room at the end.
The Monkey looked at him with curiosity but kept on walking.
The Wanderer ignored him too, he knew this Monkey, who was actually a Kung Fu master was no threat to him.
He entered the same room Monkey came out of.
Monkey turned in time to see him do this and he turned around and slowly approached the door.
In the room there was a goose that was standing over Niko, so was Anton, Diemos was leaning against the wall beside of the door; the other two were sitting in chairs waiting patiently.
Diemos noticed him come in the door.
"Who are you?" He asked and all the other turned their attention to the wanderer.
The wanderer turned to him and calmly said "you never know".
They were confused, the Wanderer took advantage of this time to punch Diemos and then grab him in a choke hold and pull Diemos' handgun out and set it to level 3 stun, he used Diemos as a human shield, using the notch on the side, and held it to Diemos' head.
Everyone except for the unconscious Niko put their hands up
Monkey walked up and stood behind of the wanderer.
The wanderer didn't even turn around he just took the gun and put it behind of him and shot Monkey.
"Vat do you Vant?" Anton bravely asked.
The Wanderer smiled evilly and said "I want your guns, and I want Niko"
They all took their handguns off and through them down.
"Thanks now all I need is him." The Wanderer said.
He then turned the gun and shot them all; they all fell to the ground unconscious.
"Now it's your turn" The wanderer said to Diemos pushing him to the ground and shooting him too.
He put the gun at his belt line.
He walked up to Niko and and slung him over his shoulder almost as if he was weightless.
He then calmly walked out of the office almost as if nothing had happened.
He walked down the street very calmly, villagers would stop and look, but once more he would just ignore them.
He kept on walking the path, by the time he reached the forest; the masters were just arriving on the scene.
They walked into the doctor's office and went down the hall they saw everyone lying on the floor.
Po kneeled down and tried to wake Monkey up, no avail. No one would wake up, and Niko was gone, this deeply disturbed Tigress.
So now they had to find were Niko or whatever had caused this had gone to.
They rushed outside, and the villagers where standing around talking.
Crane walked up to a pig.
"Where did, whatever caused that, go?" he asked gesturing to the doctor's office.
"It went into the jungle" the pig said.
"Thank you ma'am" said.
He went back to the others who were waiting patiently for him to return, even though they were in edge.
"They went to the jungle" Crane said.
"They?" Mantis said.
"She only described it as an 'it'" Crane said.
They looked to Tigress, who was the undisputed leader of the group.
She looked at them, and for the very first time ever, they could see doubt, and fear in her eyes.
She sighed and looked down.
But then she looked up with determination, in spite of her doubt.
"Crane go in the air and search for 'them' and we will search by land"
Crane put a feathered fist in a feathered palm and did so.
The masters then began running down the path.
…
Crane saw something black and red walking through a field and he had a body slung over his shoulder.
He then looked back and saw the others too far behind to do anything about it.
So Crane went and landed in front of him, and got in his battle stance.
The wanderer stopped and raised an eyebrow at him.
"Just give up you can't win" Crane said.
The Wanderer carefully laid Nikos body down and stepped over it.
He paused for a moment and said "let me guess your friends are following aren't they?"
Crane looked shocked.
"Didn't your master Shifu teach you anything? Don't you think you should wait for them" The wanderer asked sarcastically.
Crane now looked offended and confused, how did he know that Crane had friends following, how did he know his master.
"Tell you what… I will let you off with a warning." The Wanderer said pulling the gun out and shooting Crane.
"And will you do me a favor and pass the message on" the Wanderer said to Crane, even though he was unconscious.
He went to get Niko, but Crane had delayed him long enough for the others to arrive on the scene.
The Wanderer looked at them and said "really?"
Tigress didn't bother with talking she saw what he was holding.
She pounced on him.
He dropped the gun.
The other began running towards them.
But Po tripped and landed on the gun and broke it.
The wanderer shoved Tigress off of him and jumped up, that took a lot of strength… a lot.
Mantis tried to do a flying kick on him but, the wanderer flicked him in mid-air and sent him flying across the field, he landed in a grass patch, and had a huge bruise on him, and he wouldn't be able to fight for a another week or two.
Viper tried to tell whip him but he grabbed her tail and flung out of sight. Thankfully she hit and wrapped around a Bamboo tree a few hundred feet away, she wouldn't be able to fight for another week either.
So now it was down to him vs. Tigress and the Dragon warrior who was just beginning to get his balance back.
He tried to do the same move Mantis did, about 300 pounds of fat went flying at the wanderer.
Tigress couldn't believe her eyes and neither could Po.
"Waaa-aaaahhh!" Po went flying through the air.
The wander caught Po's foot with both hands and pushed upwards, and sent Po doing cartwheels through the air.
It was now Tigress' sole responsibility to defeat him and she was too shocked to do anything about it.
He had just thrown 300+ pounds of fat across the field, it was an impossible feat, or maybe not…
"Wha-wha-what are you?" she stuttered with disbelief.
He smirked "Some call me a nightmare, others an abomination, but I prefer the Wanderer".
She put her attention back on the wanderer, and then growled.
She lunged at him.
Given his speed, and sharp mind, and superior strength he could had dropped Tigress, but something weird happened, he had a heart.
He couldn't do it; he didn't have the heart to fight her.
She stopped one foot away from him and super punched him with her right hand; it was punch that could snap an iron wood tree into two pieces with a single blow.
It made connection, and the unbelievable happened… Tigress felt pain all through her right hand and she held it to her chest, then she looked up at him.
He was looking to his right, he wasn't lying on the ground, he wasn't bleeding, and he wasn't crying he wasn't anything.
He slowly turned his head towards Tigress, and grabbed his head and twisted it until it made a loud popping sound.
Tigress was really scared now.
They looked at each other for a moment, she stared into his glowing red eyes, and he looked into hers, he could see her fear, she couldn't see or sense anything off of him.
They stood there for a moment and then the Black and red tiger spoke up…
"I have been punched harder by bigger people but it never hurt that much and any other time I would had killed you, but not this time… because someone's going to do it for me, and your blood is no blood I could ever have on my hands."
The longer they stared into each other's eyes, The Wanderers seemed to be turning… blue?
And his red stripes were also turning blue.
He broke the eye contact and looked at his arm; his fur was turning into a bright blue color that matched his eyes.
He then calmly said "oh shit", and turned and looked at Niko and cocked his head to the side, and then turned back to Tigress and said "he's your boyfriend isn't he?"
She was shocked how did he know that?
"Yes, how did you know" She asked laying her ears down.
"Because, no one would ever try me like that unless it was really worth it to them… just take good care of him, it appears I can't anymore, the side effects are kicking in, and so soon too" He said, as his right eye turned completely blue and he examined his arm and put it back by his side.
Tigress was confused.
He then slowly turned and started walking away.
"Wait who are you and where are you going?" Tigress asked quickly running up to him and grabbing his arm.
When she grabbed his arm he froze, a light began crawling up his arm, originating from where she had grabbed him at.
Every red stripe on that arm turned blue.
"Don't touch me" he said quickly as he jerked away.
He began backing away slowly "I know my mistake now, and soon you will see yours" He then turned and ran all fours to get away.
He left Tigress standing there, confused.
Despite the hurting hand she went over to Niko and crouched down over him, and put her paw on his chest.
I slowly opened by eyes, and saw Tigress staring down at me with a look of sorrow.
"Huh… where am I?" asked as I looked around.
"Shhhh" she hissed as she cuddled me.
"You are safe now." She said as she smiled.
I was confused "I didn't know I was in danger."
"It's a long story, just don't worry about it." She said.
To just had been waking up I sure was tired. I fell asleep in her soft, warm, furry arms.
…
The wanderer was quite a ways away by now, and he was walking on two legs and every red part of him was turning blue.
He looked at his arms It was both of them now, "Shit, it's too late, talk about a lost dream" He said as his left eye turned light blue.
He froze for a moment and then grabbed his jaw "Goddamn that hurts" he said as he staggered to his feet with an out of breath voice.
He wasn't so evil anymore; as a matter of fact he had a new goal, the good side of him had finally gotten out and was free… for now.
He wasn't a super being now, he was actually pretty weak, when the evil side of him retreated to the deepest depths of his mind it took all of the strength, the agility, the speed, the knowledge but the one thing it left behind was strong will.
He now had a new goal, originally he had wanted to get rid of Niko for reasons of his own, but now he had a new goal, he couldn't do it without support though, and he only knew one way to get it, he had to put his public speaking face on, like he had done a long time ago, he needed a puppet though…
He twisted his back until it popped "damn I just wish my back wasn't so stiff."
