Ryo smiled as she lay down on her bed. "I think this trip will be fun." She glanced over at Serenity who had just plopped down onto her own bed.
"It's too cold." Serenity grumbled.
"But you'll be able to spend some time with Hikaru." Ryo pointed out.
"And Haruhi." Serenity frowned. "Why does he like her? I don't mean any disrespect to Haruhi, she's nice and everything…. But she likes Tamaki-Senpai and yet Hikaru still thinks he loves her."
"He's just an idiot." Ryo sighed. "He'll figure it out sooner or later."
"UGH!" Serenity buried her face in her pillow. "I'm going to sleep now!"
"Okay." Ryo smiled. "I'm going to the onsen and then I'll be back." She got up and grabbed her towel.
"Have fun!" Serenity waved.
Ryo sighed and headed out towards the onsen. Hikaru what are you thinking? Haruhi isn't the girl for you. She sighed. What am I doing? I told myself I wouldn't interfere and let thinks progress as nature intended… Why can't I? Because then I'd be forced to face my wish to be with Kyouya and inability to act. Ryo answered herself. Kyouya….
"Well, to the end it is a selfish inference." Kyouya's voice came. Ryo paused and glanced around the corner. Kyouya, Honey, Mori, and Kaoru were standing there talking.
"But if you think about it like that then there are a lot of aims…" Honey said.
Ryo wasn't sure what they were talking about but she smiled seeing Kyouya. "Maybe it's because of the environment in which he grew up in, Tamaki tightly clinging onto this 'family.' He has really grown attached to the harmony in the 'family' in this club." Kyouya said.
So they are talking about Tamaki. Ryo nodded.
"For Tamaki, a 'family' is something that must be protected no matter what. And on the other hand for Tamaki, what are the 'things that will break' it? Even if he really is unaware of it as a parent of the family such a thing can't be forgiven. Tamaki most definitely will never be able to affirm his true feelings towards Haruhi…"
WHAT?! Ryo gasped and covered her mouth. What does that mean for Haruhi, Hikaru, and Serenity?
"Wait a minute, Kyouya-Senpai." Kaoru frowned. "Even I thought there was something about Tono's feelings towards the 'family.' Even I had times when I thought of not wanting to let the relations in the club break." Kaoru looked down. "But… Tono is just…"
"That's true… Tama-Chan's just..." Honey sighed.
"He's just too much of an idiot…" They all said together.
Ryo smiled. She had thought it at the same time. Tamaki is an idiot, but relationships have developed and can't be stopped…. What is he going to do now that the relationships have begun?
"Well like that we've said it was just what we deduced but Tamaki's foolishness at this point is just a bit much, don't you think? And, even so if he is just an idiot then he has already reached the outer space level." Kyouya sighed.
"Since Tama-Chan's way of thinking is just like a black box..." Honey chuckled.
"I wonder what Tono is doing right now… Maybe he's lonely and crying somewhere." Kaoru said.
"No... You never know, he might have hit his head on a corner of a piece of tofu and is currently roaring in laugher." Kyouya said calmly.
Ryo chuckled as she imagined Tamaki.
"He might be doing handstands! Or playing the piano!" Honey smiled.
"Or maybe he's already asleep." Mori said calmly.
"Well whatever he's doing, he's still an idiot." Kaoru sighed. "Well I've got to go. Hikaru is probably wondering where I am."
Kyouya nodded. "We will see you tomorrow then." Kaoru turned and left.
"See you at the hotel Kyouya!" Honey waved as he left with Mori. Kyouya just stood there for a moment.
"Are you going to come out?" Kyouya said suddenly.
Ryo flushed and stepped out. "Uh… sorry, I wasn't sure if I should step out during that conversation…" She shifted nervously.
"You didn't have to hide." Kyouya said calmly. "I'm surprised you didn't since you have such a strong opinion on the relationships in the club."
Ryo sighed. "I'm starting to wonder if I shouldn't interfere." She looked away. "It's not really my place to interfere so much."
Kyouya shrugged. "They are your friends; you are only concerned about their happiness."
Ryo nodded. "But if interfering causes more problems than happiness?"
"It is only hitting a snag because of how much of an idiot Tamaki is being." Kyouya smiled slightly. "Don't leave your friends; it's one of the best things about you."
Ryo flushed. "Uh… Right… Okay then…. Well I guess I'll see you tomorrow then." She moved passed him and hurried towards the onsen. It's one of the best things about you. Could it be possible, could Kyouya-Senpai possibly like me?! Or could I get him to come to love me?! Ryo smiled slight. I gave up too early. She smiled excitedly.
"Hey! Well then here I go!" Honey called as he snowboarded. His snowboard had bunnies and rainbows on it. "Usa-Chan Juuumpp!" Honey called.
Ryo chuckled as she grabbed her own snowboard. "Are you going to snowboard Ryo?" Kyouya asked looking over, he looked a little shocked.
"Yeah, my brother taught me when we were younger." She smiled. "Serenity want to come?"
"I ski." She laughed. "I think I'll go ski with Hikaru, Kaoru and Haruhi."
"Are you going to go, Kyouya-Senpai?" Haruhi asked walking over to Kyouya.
"You can't compare me to your abilities but I came because I wanted to take some beautiful pictures to put on our website." Kyouya said holding up a camera.
Ryo looked over. "You'd better get some of Mori over there then." She pointed. "He looks pretty hot like that." She chuckled.
"Oh? Going after Mori-Senpai now?" Serenity laughed.
Ryo chuckled. "No, he's more like my older brother." She smiled and then went out to snowboard. She smiled as she snowboarded and did a few tricks.
"Oh I see! It's not that it matters! Hey! Hikaru, Kaoru! The special training is starting!" Haruhi said. Serenity looked over.
"Oh! The special training sounds fun!" She smiled. "I want to join!" She noticed Kyouya take a picture of Ryo out of the corner of her eye.
"Hikaru, isn't it impossible for you today?" Kyouya asked calmly looking over at Hikaru. "Your face is entirely 'black.'" He said mentioning the gloomy dark expression on Hikaru's face.
"Hikaru, are you okay? How about you go back to the room and sleep?" Kaoru asked his brother.
"No… I promised Haruhi that we'll have special training today." Hikaru muttered.
"Hikaru! Kaoru!" The class president called walking up.
"President?" Kaoru blinked.
"You're not going over there to snowboard? The girls also invited you guys to." The president asked.
"You seem happy, president. I thought you didn't like snowy mountains?" Kaoru asked curiously.
"Ahaha!" The president laughed nervously. "After entering the onsen, and having a deep sleep, I felt much better. I'm scared of skiing but snowboarding seems fun." He laughed.
"..Heh..." Serenity looked over and saw Hikaru grin darkly. "I see, I see. Good for you. Then why don't you have an even deeper sleep tonight?" Hikaru wrapped an arm around the president's shoulder.
"Eh?!" The chairman blinked.
"Don't go snowboarding! Let's go ski, ski- I'll grab your hands and legs and teach you how- afterwards so you can sleep all you want- Aah, but your muscles might hurt so much that you won't be able to sleep through, sorry about that." Hikaru laughed darkly.
"N... No thank y.." The president laughed nervously.
Hikaru smirked and started to drag the president off. "Alright! The first student of the Hitachin Ski class!"
Serenity sighed. "I'll go keep an eye on that idiot."
Ryo smiled as she walked towards Kyouya. He sat at a table drinking tea. "Hello Kyouya-Senpai, done taking pictures?"
"For now yes…. It looks like a snowstorm might be coming in soon so I think I'll be completely done now."
"Get some good ones?" Ryo asked looking at the camera.
"Enough for the website yes." Kyouya said calmly, setting down his cup.
"Where are the others?" Ryo asked looking over at Kyouya. "I haven't seen them in a while."
"I'm not sure." He said calmly.
"PLEASE TELL ME YOU'RE JOKING!" Kyouya and Ryo looked off into the distance where the president's voice came from.
"I'm guessing Hikaru did something stupid."
Kyouya chuckled.
Serenity laughed as she watched Hikaru and the president look down the large hill. "Hikaru, I'm a fan of pranks as well, but I think this is too much for the class pres."
"There's nothing I can do now that I've already mixed up the beginners course with the advanced course. At this morning's special training, you were skiing weren't you? It'll work out somehow." Hikaru smiled.
"NOO! Noo! It's high! Go and call for help from the bottom! Cellphone, Cellphone!" The president complained.
Serenity glanced over at Kaoru and Haruhi. "Yeah, it's true he's being strict with the president… Haruhi are you alright?" Kaoru asked Haruhi.
Haruhi blinked. "Uh..."
"It's alright, Haruhi! Kaoru smiled. "Haruhi you've improved a lot! Just choose the easiest way down! I'll guide you as well!" Kaoru smiled.
Serenity looked down the hill. "It doesn't look that difficult, but I'm sure the president won't be able to work up the courage."
"Okay..." Haruhi nodded. "I'll try my best…!"
"Now, now! President, you have to be brave too! If you can go down from here, then your skills will improve and Kurakanao-San will also appreciate you more!" Hikaru smirked.
"I… see… I have to be brave…" The class president looked down the hill nervously. He screamed suddenly and moved back.
"It's no good, is it…" Kaoru sighed. "What to do… If we just stand here it seems like there's a snowstorm coming.."
"Kaoru. Sorry but can you go down first with Haruhi? You can go too Serenity, you didn't have to stick close to me all day." Hikaru said calmly. "The rescue team should be down there since I called them. I'll wait here with the president."
"Eh! If that's the case, then I'll stay behind Hikaru, you and Haruhi.."
"No-." Hikaru interrupted his brother. "Anyways I'm the one who asked for the impossible and brought president up here. Though I've been irritated due to lack of sleep, I did too much. I'm so sleepy that I can't make good decisions so it'll be better if Kaoru helps Haruhi to go down. Serenity you don't have to stay either."
"I see.. Okay." Kaoru nodded. "Well then, Haruhi. Let's slowly try our best to get down as fast as we can."
"Okay… But Hikaru." Haruhi turned to Hikaru and Serenity frowned jealously. "Sorry, was I snoring? Did it keep you up?"
"No no that's not it. You slept like a log. If you're worried, then just try your best and ski down from here."
"And also… what you said yesterday." Haruhi smiled. "Every month I always end up giving my opinions.. Sorry, but inside Hikaru somehow, I feel that you already have the answer. But, everyone's feelings. It's bad to that person but, I want Hikaru to choose the way that won't trouble you." Haruhi smiled at him. "Because I'm your friend. I don't want to see Hikaru worried and troubled."
Well at least Haruhi doesn't love Hikaru. Serenity thought. "Haruhi… The wind got stronger we'd better hurry. Serenity you coming?"
"Ah okay!" Haruhi nodded to Kaoru. "Well then, wait here okay. Take care of the president." Haruhi smiled.
"I'll take care of them." Serenity smiled stepping forward. "This idiot needs a babysitter more than the pres."
Haruhi looked at her for a moment and then nodded. "Okay." Haruhi and Kaoru started skiing down the hill.
Serenity looked over at Hikaru. He was staring off into the air. Does he really love Haruhi? I'm not giving up, but I wonder what I should do? She looked up and froze. The snowstorm was starting up.
Before she could say anything Hikaru spoke. "Uh oh.. .The snowstorm came. President, Serenity! Go under the covered area of the rift… Eh?" Both Serenity and Hikaru looked over to see the president missing.
"President!" They both gasped together and started to look for him.
"President?!" Hikaru called as he found a small area covered in snow. The president sat a little bit off clutching at his ankle.
The president looked up. "Sorry… I was looking for an area with a cellphone signal and lost track of where I was heading. And, it seems like I've twisted my foot."
"Oh great." Serenity sighed.
"Wait there! I'll come right now!" Hikaru called. He started moving towards the president and Serenity blinked. Hikaru could be so sweet sometimes, she felt her face heat up in a blush and pulled her scarf up to hide it. I can't think like that right now! I've got to help Hikaru with the president.
"Is there anything I can do?!" She called after her.
Hikaru looked back at her. "Just stay there! President I should be saying sorry. For now, get on my back. If we stay here and they come they won't be able to find us."
"Im-impossible… it hurts even when I move slightly and to carry me on your back and go back up… it's impossible." The president said depressed.
Serenity was about to yell at him, but Hikaru interrupted her. "Just get on! NO MATTER WHAT I'LL GET YOU OUT OF HERE, SO TRY YOUR BEST!"
Hikaru… Serenity watched him pull the president onto his back and move towards her. She nodded to him and grabbed his arm to help sturdy him as they headed back to the spot they would be waiting. He's amazing! I knew he was cool sometimes, but that was amazing. He's… He's… He's getting heavier. Serenity looked at him and noticed his eyes starting to close. "HIKARU!" She tried to steady him, but he collapsed and pulled her down with him. She felt the soft snow cushion the fall, but she was starting to black out as well. Hikaru….
Ryo paced nervously as she waited for news on Hikaru. Serenity had woken up a few minutes ago and had headed to her room to get some more sleep in her own bed. Ryo could tell she also wanted to think about something, but she wasn't worried about Serenity. It was the idiot Hikaru she was worried about.
"I'm sure Hikaru is fine." Kyouya said looking over at her.
"Hika-Chan is a tough cookie." Honey nodded. "And the doctor said he was alright."
"I guess…." Ryo sat down again, she hadn't even noticed she had been pacing. "This is a horrible way to end the ski trip."
"Oh yeah the first year's trip ends tomorrow." Honey said looking off. "Shouldn't you go pack your stuff up then Ryo-Chan?"
"I'll have time for that later. I want to make sure Hikaru is okay before I go to my room." Ryo shifted and got up to pace again.
"Calm down Ryo." Kyouya smiled as he watched her. "You look like an anxious father whose wife is about to give birth."
"Oh great now I'm acting like Tamaki." Ryo smiled, trying to lighten the mood.
"If you were acting like Tama-Chan then you would be jumping up and down and crying as if Hikaru was about to have surgery." Honey giggled.
Ryo smiled. "Yeah you're right."
"He's up!" Kaoru said walking in.
Ryo smiled. "Is he okay?!"
"Yeah he's fine. Come on." Kaoru lead them towards the room Hikaru was resting in. Part of the way there they found Hikaru crouching down by a wall looking conflicted.
"Hikaru!" Kaoru gasped.
"Hika-Chan! Is it alright for you to move around now?" Honey asked.
"Your face is all read; do you have a fever?" Kyouya asked calmly.
"I-I-I'm fine! Sorry for worrying you.." Hikaru said getting up.
Ryo was about to talk, but was interrupted by a surprise visitor. "HIKARU WHERE ARE YOU!" Tamaki was running towards them.
"Tono?" Hikaru blinked shocked.
"Tama-Chan!" Honey smiled.
"Tamaki-Senpai?" Ryo blinked shocked. "What are you doing here?"
Tamaki ignored them as he started to pat Hikaru all over.
"It's alright; this is the real Hikaru." Kyouya said bluntly and calmly.
"…Thank God." Tamaki said resting his head on Hikaru's chest, looking relaxed. "When I heard you fainted, I didn't know.."
"Tono, I just confessed to Haruhi." Hikaru said bluntly shocking them all.
"Hah?!" Kaoru gasped shocked.
"Even though I haven't received a reply, but I will give it my all." Hikaru said calmly. "So, Tono don't lose to some trauma either and give it your all!"
Did Hikaru over hear that conversation in the hallway the other night?! Ryo gasped. And if he confessed to Haruhi… Oh no! What does this mean for the future of the relationships?!
Hikaru started acting dark suddenly. "GOT THAT?! What's you answer?!" He glared down at Tamaki.
"YES!" Tamaki gasped.
Ryo looked over at Kyouya shocked. What are we going to do? Kyouya looked at her, but offered no answer. This is going to send us into chaos….
