Ryo smiled as she looked around the Twin's party. It was filled with mostly girls that were guests at the club, but there were lots of guys there too. She looked over at spotted Yukki talking with Rio. Ryo smiled, it was nice that Rio had finally found a girlfriend that made him happy. It also kept him from constantly poking his nose into Ryo's business.

"I see you are already here." Kyouya said walking up. "Are we the last ones to arrive?"

"No, Luc isn't here yet. And I haven't seen Serenity. Tsukiko is over at the sweets table waiting for Honey. Haruhi and Mei showed up before me and are over at the food table." She pointed. "I take it that the other guys and you showed up together."

"Yes." Kyouya nodded. "Are you planning anything? Hikaru is going to get his answer from Haruhi today."

"I'm not going to do anything." Ryo sighed. "It's not my place." She smiled. "Besides it's the last time I'll get to see everyone for a while. I don't want to stress myself out."

"We'll see each other most likely over the break." Kyouya pointed out. "Knowing the others."

Ryo chuckled and nodded. "Knowing everyone yeah, but I still won't see anyone because I'm going to my mom's family for a big New Year's party."

Kyouya nodded. "I guess that is a good reason why you won't see everyone for a while."

"It will be sad." Ryo smiled. "But it will be great to see everyone when I come back. I'll be looking forward to all the fun crazy stuff we will be doing."

"Most likely that will begin as soon as school starts up again."

"Of course. I'd have it no other way." Ryo smiled. "I'm going to go say hi to some of the others. Have fun at the party Kyouya-Senpai." She smiled and walked off to talk to the others.

"Hey Luc." Kaoru said walking over to her. "Having fun?"

"Yeah. And the food is great." Luc smiled looking over as her favorite host walked up. "How's Hikaru doing? Has Haruhi rejected him yet?"

Kaoru sighed. "Probably right now he is."

Luc laughed. "So you don't have any hope of her saying yes to him?"

"However much I love my brother and support him, I know that he's most likely going to get rejected. Haruhi loves Tono."

Luc nodded. "It's obvious." She flushed as Kaoru laughed. "Uh… Your outfit looks good too."

Kaoru blinked and looked down at his outfit. "Oh thanks! My mom designed it!" He grinned. "You should see some of her designs! They are great!"

"Really?" Luc asked. "Maybe you can show me later."

"Sounds good." Kaoru smiled. "Well I'd better go see how Hikaru is doing…" He looked off.

"I'm sure he'll be fine." Luc smiled. "He's got a good brother to support him."

Serenity looked around trying to find Hikaru. I wonder if he's talking to Haruhi. She frowned. That idiot! I can't believe he confessed to Haruhi! She looked around and spotted the host club guys and the girls talking and looking around. "What's up?!" She asked walking up.

"We're looking for Tono and Hikaru." Kaoru said looking over. "Hikaru dragged Tono off somewhere. No one knows where."

"Oh." Serenity looked over and saw Haruhi looking. I wonder if they talked and if she said no or yes.

"There they are." Ryo said pointing.

"Ah, they're back. Where have you been?" Kaoru rushed towards the two. Everyone followed.

Hikaru…

"Hikaru, since you're the one in charge, don't run away. And don't make me greet the guests." Kyouya frowned.

"Ah, sorry, my bad. Tono got lost on the way to the washroom you see." Hikaru laughed.

"What?!" Tamaki gasped. "You liar! Who would get lost here/! How could you say such embarrassing things in front of so many people?!" Tamaki whined.

He looks happy and carefree again. Serenity thought. Has he not talked to Haruhi yet? Or did she say yes?

"Oh sure, sure, I won't tell them. That you got so lost and peed yourself along the way. I won't tell especially to Haruhi." Hikaru laughed.

"I didn't wet myself!" Tamaki gasped. "I'll tell you now; I've never peed myself since I was born! Or I might have 'joy peed' once or twice way back when I was young."

Everyone stared at Tamaki in shock. "Wow Tamaki…" Serenity chuckled.

"So Tono 'joy pees'… "Kaoru chuckled.

"That was my dad's trickery!" Tamaki looked like a kid throwing a fit.

"Tono, tono, calm down." Hikaru said calmly.

He seemed just like old times, maybe a little more serious but still normal for the most part. Serenity noticed.

Tamaki grabbed Hikaru's shirt "Now you've let everyone hear it. How Tono goes to the washroom. "Hikaru chuckled.

"'joy pee?' Peed yourself…" Haruhi blinked confused, staring at Tamaki.

Is Hikaru trying to make Haruhi like Tamaki less?

"Ha-Haruhi!" Tamaki gasped nervously looking at her. "You're getting it wrong. I'm everyone's idol so this thing about toilets..."

"How gross…" Haruhi said bluntly and turning away. "Back in Paris…"

"Haruhi! I said you're getting it wrong! That thing about Paris was Kyouya's scheme!" Tamaki cried out.

"Oh? So this is the attitude to the one who helped you play hockey?" Kyouya said coldly to his classmate.

Ryo chuckled. "Poor Tamaki-Senpai is having trouble today. Nothing he says is helping him."

"Hehe, let's go to the first shrine visit of the New Year!" Honey said, ignoring Tamaki and turning to Haruhi. Most of the on lookers had backed off away from Tamaki to start up their own conversations.

"Sounds nice!" Hikaru smiled.

"Haruhi is coming too, aren't you?" Hikaru asked.

Serenity flinched. Hikaru…

"Hikaru?" Haruhi blinked looking over at Hikaru.

Hikaru was just smiling. "Come on, with everyone!"

"Mm, let's go!" Haruhi nodded.

Serenity flinched. She wanted to slap Hikaru. I guess they did talk, but what happened exactly?

"Wait, I'm going too! I wanna eat baked potatoes at the shrine!" Tamaki called acting childish again.

"The toilets at the shrine will be crowded you know." Haruhi said bluntly.

"I said you're misunderstanding it, Haruhi." Tamaki wined.

Everyone laughed. "I heard commoners only offer 15 yen here, right?" Hikaru said smiling over at Serenity.

"Because they don't have enough money." Kyouya said.

"Um, that's wrong." Ryo chuckled.

"Sounds good, I wanna go too." Mei grinned.

"Let's go everyone!" Honey grinned. "Tsukiko?" He turned to her.

"Sorry I can't." Tsukiko shifted. "I would love to, but my family has a big party we host every year. I can't miss it. Sorry."

"Aw!" Honey whined. "I wanted us to spend the time together."

"What about you Serenity? Are you going to come?"

"No. My dad is taking us on a family trip starting tomorrow to see family." Serenity smiled. Not that I want to go now, with Hikaru crushing on Haruhi…. "I can't miss out on that."

"Same here." Luc sighed. "Preplanned family time. We're flying out on one of my dad's planes to see my grandparent."

"So are none of us going to be able to make it?" Yukki looked over.

"That's no fun." Honey whined. "It will only be us guys!"

"And Haruhi and me!" Mei glared.

Ryo chuckled. "Don't worry; we'll all hang out when we all get back." She turned and looked over where Rio was talking to another student. "We'll have to spend a whole day planning and deciding what to do! It will have to be tons of fun!"

Serenity looked over at her friend and then back at Hikaru. I guess we'll just have to wait and see what happens when the winter break is over.
