The Robotech Masters have abandoned their control of empire, their war with The Invid, and the slave Zentraedi forces still fighting it in an attempt to capture Zor's Battle Fortress directly. In this sudden power vacuum, a rogue leader from a caste of Zentraedi whose function is to enforce the will of The Masters on the warrior caste will attempt to seize power and rule herself.

Thank you for indulging me in this journey off of the main path of the Robotech storyline, but the journey does not end here. Robotech: The Ashes of Empire is the establishment of the Te'Dak Tohl sect of Zentraedi as a new antagonist with Supreme General Krymina and her motivations at the helm. We've also introduced new protagonists, who I assure you will return in time.

I hope you have enjoyed this work and found it entertaining and at least plausible.

What's next?

Now it is time to rejoin the affairs of Earth, the Robotech Defense Forces, and the struggles to recover from "The Zentraedi Holocaust"- post Macross Saga for disciples of the mainstream Robotech storyline.

Book Two- Robotech: The Smoldering Earth (to be posted incrementally, very soon) will introduce new characters- principally the Valkyrie pilots of the 623rd "Knight Hawk" Squadron, touch upon some familiar favorites, and also further Supreme General Krymina's plans set against the backdrop of struggles for power between the RDF and emerging Army of The Southern Cross, and of course the malcontent factions of the billion-plus Zentraedi who are marooned on Earth post-Macross.

…It's going to be a bumpy ride.
