Serenity leaned back in her chair and sighed. So much had happened with in the last month. First Ryo had left, and then the third years had graduated. It had been entertaining to watch Mori and Honey have a battle, but now that it was over the two were going to college. Along with that Rio was leaving as well. So Serenity could get no info on Ryo and how she was doing. She glanced over at her phone that was sitting on her desk. Ryo hadn't even answered any of her calls. She got up and stretched, planning on going down to get some food when the phone went off.
"Hello?" Serenity asked.
"Tamaki is under house arrest!" Hikaru's voice came.
"What?!" Serenity paused. "Hang on… Let's meet somewhere and you can tell me!"
"Alright." Hikaru said. The two decided on a location and then Serenity headed out quickly. By the time she got there, Hikaru was already there. "Hey!" He glanced over. "We have a problem.""
Serenity sat down next to him. "What happened?"
"Kyouya called me. He told me that Tamaki moved into his main house." Hikaru frowned. "And now Tamaki can't leave or talk to any one!"
"No way!" Serenity frowned. "First Ryo and now Tamaki! What is going to happen to our club?"
"We don't know yet." Hikaru frowned. "This worries me."
Serenity frowned and leaned back. "What about school?"
"Sounds like he will be back too." Hikaru nodded.
"Then we have to wait…." Serenity sighed. At the same moment, both her and Hikaru smiled. "I guess we both hate waiting."
Hikaru smiled. "We can keep each other entertained till then." He got up. "Let's go check out that new arcade!"
Serenity smiled. "Alright." She grabbed Hikaru's arm and pulled him up. "Let's go." She let go off his arm, blushing slightly, and started walking towards the arcade location.
"I love commoner's arcades! Such fun games for such little money!" Hikaru laughed and grabbed her arm. "Hurry up." He started running, and dragged her. Serenity blushed but smiled and laughed following.
Luc glanced over as her sister Rachael banged on the door. "LUCIA!" Luc sighed and rolled over so her face was in her pillow. I can't stand this! I wish I had school today so I could avoid Rachael. "LUCIA OPEN YOUR DOOR! I KNOW YOU ARE IN THERE!"
"Leave me alone!" Luc called. "I'm trying to sleep!"
"It's your turn to do the dishes!" Rachael yelled angrily. "You'd better get out and come do the dishes!"
"Fine!" Luc yelled. "I'll do them in a little!" She yelled back, annoyed at her sister. I wish Alice was here, but she went with mom on the business trip. She sighed and slowly got up. I should go do the dishes now or she'll be back in a minute. Luc got up and walked out. She spotted Rachael heading towards her room and talking on the phone with her friend.
Luc started doing the dishes. She put in her headphones and started listening to some music while she cleaned the dishes. She continued like that for a little when her pocket started buzzing. She paused and turned off her music so she could answer her phone. "Hello?"
"Can you open your door please?" Kaoru's voice chuckled.
"Kaoru?" Luc glanced over towards the front door, curious. She walked forward and opened the door. Kaoru waved at her, his phone at his ear.
"Hi." Kaoru smiled. "Can I come in?"
"Uh…Sure…. What are you doing here?" Luc asked, moving aside for him to walk in.
"I decided to stop by." He smiled. "Plus I have some news about Tamaki."
Luc nodded and shut the door behind her and walked in. "What's going on?" She led him into the front room and sat down on the couch. "Something with Tamaki?"
"He's been allowed to move into his family's main house, but he's been put under house arrest. None of us can get ahold of him, not even Kyouya."
"That isn't good." Luc sighed. "Do we have any idea of what is going to happen?"
"We'll have to wait till school starts up. But we all decided to pass along the message."
"We who?" Luc smiled. "You and Hikaru?"
Kaoru nodded. "Hikaru let Mori and Serenity know. I'm letting Honey and you know. Then Mori will tell Yukki and Honey will tell Tsukiko."
Luc nodded. "Sounds good I guess… But I'm worried… The club won't be the same this year will it?"
Kaoru sighed. "I doubt it. Kyouya didn't tell me anything so I don't know what he has planned."
"Tamaki is the planner." Luc chuckled.
Kaoru laughed with her and then smiled. "That's a nice shirt you're wearing."
"Huh?" Luc looked down at her shirt. "This shirt?"
"My mother designed it." Kaoru smiled. "But that one brings out the pink of your eyes very nicely."
Luc flushed and looked down. She was saved from responding as a black cat jumped up onto her lap. "Oh, Kaoru let me introduce you to Nilla. Isn't she a cutie?"
"Yeah." Kaoru laughed.
"LUCIA!" Luc flinched as Rachael came storming in angrily. "ARE YOU DOING DISHES OR NOT?!"
Kaoru glanced over as the twenty year old woman walked in. She paused spotting him and flushed slightly. Luc suddenly felt really angry. She could already see Rachael flirting with Kaoru even though he was younger than her. Kaoru was just too good looking for his own good. "Hello? Luc, is this one of your sisters?"
"Yeah…" Luc frowned. "This is my sister Rachael…" She looked down at Nilla angrily.
Rachael giggled. "It's nice to meet you… You're quite a handsome young man."
Kaoru smiled and got up. "It comes in handy when trying to win the hearts of beautiful princesses." Luc blinked as she noticed Kaoru offering his hand towards her. "And it makes it very easy to sweep beautiful blond princesses off their feet." He took her hand and pulled Luc up. "Shall we go for a walk my princess?"
"Uh…. Kaoru…" Luc could feel her face turning bright red. "It was nice to meet you Rachael, but if you'll excuse us." He gave a small bow and then led Luc towards the door. He helped her get her shoes on, but Luc hardly noticed as she was whisked out the door and led on a walk. "I hope this is okay." Kaoru said after a minute. "You just didn't look very happy so I thought you might want to get out of there."
"Kaoru…" Luc blushed brightly.
He laughed. "When you blush it makes you really cute. I'll have to create a design that would match that look one day." He smiled brightly at Luc.
She found herself blushing and smiling. "Very well, my prince." She gave a pretend curtsy and Kaoru laughed.
Tsukiko sighed as she looked over papers for college. It felt strange to think that in two weeks about she would be going to college and wouldn't be hanging out with the others. Sure she would see Honey, the two of them were dating, but that didn't mean she was sad that she couldn't go see the other club members again.
Tsukiko wanted to shred the papers in front of her. Nothing was working for her. It was infuriating. She grumbled as she snapped her pencil again. "Oh great!" she tossed the broken pencil aside and dug around her desk drawer for another pencil. She sighed again noticing she was running low on pencils again.
A cheerful tone started playing from her pocket. Tsukiko perked up instantly recognizing Honey's ringtone. "Honey-Kun!" She answered.
"Hi TsuTsu-Chan!" Honey laughed. "Want to go on a date right now and get some cake?!"
Tsukiko sighed. "I would love to…. But I have college paperwork to do." She looked at the stack of paper. "I have to get all the paperwork filled out by tomorrow or I have no chance of being accepted."
"You're trying to get into the same school as me, aren't you?" Honey asked.
"Yeah." Tsukiko smiled. "It's a great school… And I'll also get to see you every day!"
"We can have cake during breaks!" Honey laughed happily.
"That's only if I make it in." Tsukiko sighed. "I should have done this earlier… but with everything going on… I forgot…"
Honey was silent for a minute. "Hey Tsukiko…. Can I call you back in a little?"
"Uh… Sure." Tsukiko blinked and hung up her phone. She stared at it confused. Their conversations usually lasted longer. He's probably busy… He's got college coming up too… Of course he's an easy in because of his family. Tsukiko sighed.
She got back to work, but had a strong craving for cake. After a half an hour Tsukiko couldn't take it any longer. She got up and headed down to the kitchen to grab some cake that she had in the fridge. Just as she was about to sink her fork into the cake, her phone went off again. It wasn't a number she recognized. "Hello?" She asked, a little nervous.
"Is this Tsukiko Akuma?" A serious professional man's voice answered.
"Yes." Tsukiko was confused now.
"I am calling to inform you that you're acceptance into our college has been accepted. We will see you in two weeks. Have a good day." Tsukiko stared in shock as the man gave her all the details she would need to know. Once he was done, he said congrats again and then hung up. Tsukiko just stood there stunned. She had been accepted… and she hadn't even sent in the paperwork yet. Her phone went off again, this time she recognized Honey's ringtone. "Honey?"
"Congrats TsuTsu-Chan!" He laughed. "I called in and recommended you!"
"Oh Honey!" Tsukiko smiled and laughed happily. "This calls for cake!"
"Meet at the usual spot?" Honey asked, he sounded exited.
"Of course!" Tsukiko hung up her phone quickly and grabbed her bag before heading out. This was a date that she was even more exited for. It was a celebration date.
Yuuki glanced at her phone annoyed. Rio hadn't called her yet. He had left hours after his graduation to go stay with his mother, and had promised to call her when he got a chance. She was just about to throw her phone, but it would probably end up hitting Sprinkles her little orange cat who was sleeping on Yukki's chair. Plus Yukki didn't want to destroy her phone.
"Meow!" Sprinkles yawned. He was an old cat, and the laziest Yukki knew. But she loved her cat and watched as he jumped off the chair and paddled over to Yukki. He tried to jump up onto her bed, but he was a little cubby. She reached down and picked him up. He let out a comforting purr and Yukki smiled. "Thanks Sprinkles."
He pawed at her phone and Yukki laughed. "Still waiting." As soon as she finished saying that the phone went off. Yukki practically jumped off the bed as she snatched up the phone. "RIO!"
"Sorry." He laughed. "I didn't have a chance to call you until now. My Mother and Grandmother wouldn't stop talking and drilling me about the family, and then my phone's battery died."
Yukki smiled. "I'm just glad to hear from you! I've missed you."
"As have I. Just give it a few months and then I'll be able to fly out to see you whenever I want."
"I'm impatiently waiting." Yukki chuckled. "But you have to promise to call me often! It looks like these next few months are going to be complicated. Tamaki is having family issues now."
"I heard. Mori called."
"Oh so you talked to Mori-Senpai before me?!" Yukki frowned and straightened up her position.
Rio laughed. "He just sent me a text right as I was about to pick up my phone. It was charging remember."
"I guess." Yukki smiled. "I wish you could be here."
"I do as well…. But my mother swiped me up before I could make any other plans."
"You have to start planning for your future." Yukki smiled and covered her mouth to keep from laughing, knowing Rio couldn't see her. She didn't want him realizing that she wasn't that serious about his training.
"Don't laugh." Rio must be smirking on the other line; Yukki could see it in her head. "You don't need the training though. You will do very well in your business."
"Thanks for the vote of confidence love… But there is still a lot that I have to learn… And I want to learn it all before I even start planning on a family."
"Huh?" Yukki paused and flushed.
"I want to have the business backing me when I start my own family." Rio laughed. "I hope you don't mind that."
"I might not wait for you… "Yukki said, sounding as serious as she could even though her face was on fire.
"Oh, don't worry. You won't have to wait very long. I promise I will be done by the time you get out of high school."
"But I might find some other good looking boy by the end of this year…. There is the host club boys…"
"Oh I know I don't have to worry about them." Rio chuckled. "And I know you will wait for me… and when I come back down to visit I will see you then."
Yukki smiled. "I can't wait."
"I'm already counting the days…. Now why don't we talk about how you are instead of what I'm doing?"
Yukki smiled and started telling Rio how much she missed him, and how life seemed so boring without him around.
Haruhi looked off out her window, wondering how Tamaki was doing. "I wonder if he is eating with his grandmother right now…" She smiled slightly. Two weeks…. Two weeks till school starts again and I will get to see him again… Tamaki… I can't wait till break is over.
