Yukki yawned as she laid out on her bed, filling out a homework page. "UHG!" She collapsed her head onto her pillow. "I hate homework!"
"YUKKI! PHONE!" Her father called. "It's that boyfriend of yours!"
"What?" Yukki jumped up and rushed forward to grab her phone. "RIO?"
"Hey beautiful!" Rio chuckled. "How's school going?"
"I hate it… But Tamaki and Haruhi started dating!"
"Really?" Rio chuckled. "So what are you doing right now?"
"Just homework… But I think I might just call it a night and go to bed." Yukki sighed. "I can't stand it."
"Alright, well I've got to go… See you soon." He hung up.
"Hey!" Yukki frowned and looked at the phone. "UHG!" She stormed into the kitchen and grabbed a fresh backed cookie and shoved it into her mouth. She growled as there was a knock on the door. "I GOT IT!" She yelled and stormed towards the door. "WHAT?!" She yelled.
"Well hi." Rio laughed. "Did I catch you at a bad time?"
"R-Rio?" Yukki gasped shocked. "RIO!" She jumped up and hugged him tightly. "What are you doing here?!"
"I flew out to see you." Rio smiled. "I've missed you."
"We just saw each other a little ago, and we talk almost every day." Yukki laughed.
"I know." Rio smiled and kissed her forehead. "Now what do you say to going and getting some dessert?"
"YES!" Yukki smiled and grabbed his hand. "I'll be back later!" She called to her dad before following Rio out. "So where are we going?"
"I thought we could go get some ice cream… What do you think?"
"I say yes!" Yukki smiled and hugged him. "It sounds perfect!"
Rio laughed and hooked arms with her, before leading her off. "Come on. I know a great little place."
"Little place?" Yukki asked.
"Yes. My mom use to take Ryo and I when we were younger…. I know the owner. I already called and asked for a booth to ourselves." He laughed.
"You didn't even know if I was going to say yes!" Yukki laughed.
"I know." Rio smiled. "But I like to be prepared." He led her to a small hole in the wall shop. "Hey Joe!" Rio called.
"Joe?" Yukki asked.
"A nickname." Rio chuckled. "His real name is Jomane. But he always hated his name and decided to start a nickname he heard while in the US."
"Huh?" Yukki blinked and looked as an older man walked over.
"Hello." Rio smiled. "So is this your girlfriend Rio, she's cute." He laughed. "Sit, sit." He led them to a small booth. Two little menus sat there. "Go ahead and order."
Rio smiled. "I'll have the original… and she'll take the special chocolate sweet lover's surprise."
"Rio…" Yukki smiled.
"Trust me." He chuckled.
"Alright." She nodded.
"Coming right up." Joe laughed and then walked off.
Rio smiled. "I'm always ready to come to you if you need me… No matter what." Rio leaned in and kissed her gently.
Yukki smiled. "Thank you… I love you."
"Here you go love birds." Joe smiled walking back and setting two bowls down. They were exactly the same. They had vanilla, strawberry, and chocolate ice cream scoops with caramel sauce, chocolate sauce, and whipped cream on top. "Enjoy."
"This is your favorite?" Yukki smiled.
"Yes." Rio laughed. "I think it will be your favorite too."
Yukki smiled and took a bite. She had to admit it tasted delicious. "Amazing!" She smiled.
Rio smiled. "I told you." He laughed and took a bite himself.
Yukki smiled and rested back, enjoying the treat.
