Levi's hand shot out, gripping the man by the throat, lifting him up in the air. He then pulled the man closer to him and bit down, hard right on the side of the neck. Blood poured into Levi's mouth.

Everything made sense suddenly...to Levi.

Strength coursed through his veins.

Why shouldn't the strong prey on the weak?

The natural order of things.

Humans were animals, they just used to think they were the highest on the food chain.

When they were not.

Vampires were.

A low growl rumbled from Levi's chest as he drank, not stopping until the human that had held him down as a child and forced him to watch that women being raped was drained.

He dropped the body carelessly to the floor.

Electricity ran through his veins.

Levi's pupils expanded and he took a sharp intake of breath.

He didn't know that the reason why he hadn't been shot with any hemlock yet was because Levi had moved and drained the human closest to him in a matter of seconds, no time for anyone to react.

Levi didn't bother to control the hunger that was smothering him inside.

Levi's eyes locked onto the other humans that were surrounding them.

His eyes practically bled red into them.

Such easy pickings.

It felt like food was being handed to him on a silver platter.

Levi moved again and again so fast the humans could barely track him, he was in front of them before they knew it, throwing away their guns then biting deep into their necks then drinking greedily.

"Erwin" Hange gasped.

Erwin who had been staring at Levi looked at her then looked upwards to where Hange was looking.

His eyes widened as realisation to what was going on, especially with Levi suddenly made a lot more sense.

The wind had picked up quite quickly, suddenly it seemed to be howling in their ears and the clouds!

They had become dark and menacing, moving quickly.

The temperature had dropped, dropped so much that if Erwin forced himself to breath he could see his own breath in the air.

Maybe, maybe if the weather cast had been stormy, or maybe if the weather hadn't been completely calm seconds ago Erwin wouldn't have believed it.

The weather had changed it a matter of seconds, in the same amount of time it had taken Levi to drain the first human that had somehow enraged Levi so much.

The simple fact was the weather does not change this quickly, so someone must be controlling it...

Erwin's eyes went back to Levi, who was currently draining another human quite savagely nearby.

Levi had finally gotten his abnormal power...

Levi didn't know what was happening. All he knew was that he was thirsty and there happened to be a lot of prey around, soothing the hunger inside.

He dropped the last human carelessly, he licked his lips, tasting the crimson that kissed his lips, it tasted marvellous.

He looked around, looking for any more humans nearby but so far could see none to his disappointment, so he kept on looking.

Only then did his ears tune into a new sound.

"Levi!"

"Levi"

He felt the urge to bare his teeth at whoever was yelling at him, couldn't they see he was busy?

"Levi, you need to stop this!" The voice cried out again.

Stop what?

He wasn't doing anything.

Only then did Levi realise at how windy it had gotten all around him, though the ferocious winds surprisingly didn't make him feel any uncomfort, unlike who ever was screaming at him.

Erwin could hardly see with all the wind batting him in the face. Small pebbles were being picked up and hitting them, making it even more difficult to see.

Usually this wouldn't be a problem but it was making it more difficult to pick the hemlock bullet out of his flesh, which was stinging and sending pangs of weakness and pain throughout his body.

Erwin knew it was causing problem for Hange and Mike to.

"Levi" He shouted out, against the wind.

Levi was standing next to the last human he had killed, his eyes a dark red and taking unnecessary deep breaths in and out, most probably helping to deal with the energy and power rush after drinking that much blood in such a short amount of time Erwin thought.

Levi's eyes locked with Erwin's with a jolt Erwin realised he saw no spark of regconation in Levi's eyes, only blood lust and...power.

"Levi" Erwin muttered.

A low growl rumbled through Levi's chest, his sharp blood stained teeth bared.

Who dare? Who dare interrupt him in this state?

He felt so hungry.

So powerful.

So full of energy.

Like he could crush anyone who got in his way of his next meal, even if it was a vampire pureblood.

"Erwin, I-I can smell his emotions, don't get to close to him" Mike hissed, still in pain from the hemlock.

Erwin ignored him, still focused on Levi.

"You have to stop this storm!" He shouted over to Levi, hoping Levi heard, the wind practically ripping his voice away.

Stop the storm?

Levi blinked, had it been raining before? It was raining now.

Thunder then a flash of lightning forking in the sky behind him.

This storm...why did he feel connected to it somehow?

He didn't know how to stop it, didn't want to, why would he?

It felt good.

Instead the winds force increased even more, as did the freezing temperature, the rain became more ferocious in its downpour and more lightning forked down in the sky close to them.

Levi walked slowly towards the other vampires, teeth bared slightly.

The wind swept around him, ruffling his hair and spinning like a mini twister, spinning almost menacingly.

Levi's deep red eyes glowed through the rain, giving a eerie feel to his image to the other vampires.

Odd these vampires looked familiar?

But couldn't work out how.

The pureblood was their leader Levi worked out, the way they were looking at him for help.

He felt a strange sense of kin with the leader though there was also a deep unsettled rage within him that Levi was unsure how to react to.

"Stop trying to control me!"

"Levi" The leader said.

Levi frowned at him, how did this vampire know his name?

Levi walked closer, the female abnormal vampire growled at him when he got to close to the pureblood.

He sharply turned towards her and returned his own, louder and deeper than hers, his sharp teeth on show. His eyes glinting fiercely.

The female vampire recoiled in shock at the sound of his own growl.

"Hange!" The pure blooded vampire growled in warning.

Hange couldn't help it, she could see it was Levi, she knew it was but all her instincts were screaming that he was a threat and he should not be getting that close to her sire.

Levi stood over Erwin now, who was still on the ground because of the Hemlock.

"Don't you remember me? I'm Erwin Smith, thats Hange and Mike, remember" Erwin said carefully.

Levi muttered "Erwin..."

He tried to wrack his memory for that name but his past was scrambled inside his head, hard to get a hold of, overwhelmed by vampire instincts and blood lust.

Erwin said softly, looking at Levi in amazement "So this is what you look like, accepting your vampire nature and abandoning your humanity. I have to say, you rather are a magnificent creature Levi"

"A creature you want complete control over!" a angry thought ravished Levi's mind without his consent.

Flashes of memory finally broke through the surface.

Levi closed his eyes thinking back, willing more of his past to come to the surface.

"Erwin Smith. My Sire. The one who created me" Levi murmured.

"Yes! Thats me, remember?!" Erwin said.

"I remember..." Levi said slowly, opening his eyes to look at Erwin.

Mike stiffened noticing Levi's change in mood, rage was bubbling to the surface.

"I remember you forcing me to obey, every step I took" Levi hissed suddenly.

Erwin's eyes widened in shock at Levi's hostility.

"I remember you keeping secrets, I remember opening up to you about all my secrets, expecting understanding, though all I got back was more chains for you to tie me in! I remember being turned against my will! Though I guess I should thank you for that after all, without you this much power would never have been possible" Levi said dangerously.

The storm increased even more though oddly they could still hear each other quite well.

"Levi-" Erwin said shakily.

"Vampires killed my friends. I eventually decided to join you because of that. I control my own fate, my own future. You do NOT control me. Do you understand me Smith?!" Levi snarled.

Erwin didn't answer.

"Oh, so you don't understand? Maybe this town might" Levi said menacingly, he turned away.

"Though they might not understand why a freak storm destroyed the town and killed a number of people, poor humans, they won't understand. But they'll understand its destruction, they'll defiantly understand that, though we both will understand what actually happened, won't we?" Levi said silkily, a dark look in his eyes.

Levi wouldn't do it, would he? Erwin thought, eyes widening.

The thing was he was not sure what this Levi would do.

This Levi was completely new to him, dangerous and even more unpredictable.

"Lets make things simple. If You don't promise using your sire bond to make the promise unbreakable, that you won't control me again, I will destroy this town and everyone living in it" Levi said coldly, turning back to Erwin.

The two vampires stared at each other, unflinching.

This wasn't meant to happen! Erwin tried to use his sire bond "Lev-"

Before he could react Levi's hand pulled back and swiped him across the face, nails digging in, clawing at him.

Erwin gasped in pain.

Hand touching his now bleeding cheek in shock.

"Don't you dare" Levi spat.

Levi sneered at the pathetic pureblood before him, he could kill him, kill him now then run, no one would come after him.

Half of his thoughts felt strange, he felt oddly dispatched from everyone around him.

Though deep inside Levi knew it was because surprisingly it was his humanity, his humanity that had started to care for Erwin Smith, not his vampire side, that was in complete control right now.

"Decide now!" Levi growled.

Erwin started into Levi's eyes, only anger, hunger, hate and power swirled in those eyes, there was no sympathy or kindness, no humanity.

Erwin had thought that it was Levi's humanity dragging him down, thats why he constantly fought, now he realised to late that it was mostly down to Levi's vampire side.

Levi's vampire nature did not want to be controlled, did not want to obey and was one of the strongests abnormal he had laid eyes on.

"How" Erwin muttered.

"Easy" Levi sneered, walking threateningly closer at each sentence left his mouth "You turned a human who was brought up by hate, rage and pain. You turned a human who could take out men three times his size and weight. You turned a human that was already a monster. Becoming a vampire amplifies everything to a hundred"

"You're not a monster-" Erwin tried to say.

"Oh but I am. You ever think I regretted what I've done? Only when you came along I started to feel regret and guilt" Levi said cooly.

"Kenny made me a monster. You just added fuel to the fire. You have no idea how difficult it was to try and suppress after you turned me. The monster underneath my skin but...I was a fool. Why hide what I am? Why try and control it like you tried to control me? It doesn't make sense" Levi looked like he was now more talking to himself rather than Erwin.

A chill ran down Erwin's spine as suddenly everything made sense.

The monster underneath my skin...

He finally understood.

The devil inside you, what ever tells you dark thoughts, what begs you to do dark deeds, most humans can ignore there darker thoughts, though some give in.

Especially if you lived in a world where everyone had given into their darker thoughts, to survive.

In the underground.

Everyone had their own demons.

Humans had to let go of their feelings of guilt or attachment and become monsters, if they wanted to survive.

Just like Levi had done in the underground.

How else could he have killed so many people and not had any nervous break downs or mental problems?

It wasn't in humans nature to kill like that, so Erwin was not surprised that Levi had managed to lock his darker instincts in a cage inside.

Then Erwin had turned him...

And everything Levi knew had turned upside down.

It wasn't in a humans nature to kill.

But...

It was in a vampires nature.

And the vampire that was standing in front of him right now was revelling in it.

It must feel good to finally let everything loose, to not try and hide the darker part of yourself Erwin thought.

Levi breathed deeply in and out, he had never felt like this before, felt this empowered, this strong, this deadly and it felt amazing.

"Decide now!" Levi repeated.

The wind increased to hurricane force, almost toppling over Hange, the lighting seemed to be closer than ever, loud in their ears and shaking the ground as thunder thrummed in the air. Frost crept onto the windows nearby as the temperature dropped even more.

"Erwin!" Mike shouted, when he failed to respond.

Levi's eyes narrowed "Fine" He said icily.

The houses near them started to creak. A couple of loose tiles on the houses were thrown away because of the wind.

Debris in the air.

Lightning striking more, fire started in the distance where the lightning struck.

"Wait!" Erwin suddenly shouted.

Levi forced himself to calm his rage down then everything stopped.

The rain, the wind, the temperature went back to normal, the lightning and thunder stopped.

Levi asked frostily, folding his arms, standing straighter "Well? What will it be?"
