Erwin stared up at Levi.

He had only seen a glimpse of what Levi could do when he had killed that guard now he was being given the full view and it was a frightening sight.

He understood Levi could not become his enemy.

An enemy that could control the weather, Erwin shuddered to think.

"Okay!" Erwin said, giving in.

Suddenly the weather stilled, the rain stopped and everything went back to normal very quickly.

Levi stood there, watching him with narrowed eyes. Though the storm had stopped Levi didn't look any less scary, his eyes still a deep cold red.

"I promise not to force you to do anything you don't want to do" Erwin said slowly.

Levi regarded him for a few seconds before sharply nodding then turning away "Well? Isn't there a plant you need to take care of?" He said a little mockingly.

Erwin scowled at Levi as he grabbed the bullet from his chest, ignoring the sting and throw it to the ground, Hange and Mike doing the same thing.

He stood up first, Mike and Hange following him.

When Levi turned to face them once more his eyes were no longer red, he looked more normal and less like the monster that had killed the men around them.

Levi frowned, it felt like he'd come out of a trance.

He blinked, looking at the devastation around him.

"Erwin?" He muttered, the other vampires were looking at him warily.

"Its okay, all abnormals go through a stage like this when they get their abnormal power, when they embrace their vampire nature though yours was a little...different from what I'm used to I have to say" Erwin said, making sure Levi knew he didn't blame him.

"Different? He almost killed us" Mike snapped.

Levi expected himself to feel a little hurt from what Mike had said but nothing came.

He felt so different...

So...less like a human.

Hange explained, walking closer to Levi "As soon as an abnormal turns, they're body becomes like us, a vampire, the mind, the brain and the way you think still works the same though, it still believes your human, even though you're not. The only thing that actually still works in your body is your brain"

Levi listened to her with wrapped attention.

"You're brain still reacts as normal, not noticing the changes. Thats mostly why sometimes it takes a abnormal so long to get their power. You are a vampire in body and instincts but you still think and feel like a human"

Erwin added "As soon as you accept your nature all of that stops. You can feel emotions like any other species but they are more numb. And the way you think changes. Its a big transition to get used to"

"That doesn't give him an excuse" Mike said, eyes narrowing on Levi.

Levi hardly focused on Mike.

Everything felt so different now...

He looked at Mike, at Hange and Erwin and really saw them, saw them like he'd never seen them before.

The way they stood.

The way their bodies moved.

Everything was different.

He noticed how sub consciously or not Hange and Mike had stood next to Erwin, him in the middle, like they were drawn to him.

He noticed how coiled their muscles were, a normal humans would never be this tense, this ready to spring into action at the slightest sound.

Levi felt this to in himself.

His ears tuning into sounds all around him, sounds he usually had just ignored.

It was like waking up as a vampire all over again.

Erwin sighed, looking at the dead men around them "We return to base. The military police will be here soon. There are no abnormals or vampires near here apart from us, it was a trap, I should have guessed"

Levi frowned "So we're just going to leave them here?"

"What would you suggest?" Erwin asked.

Levi felt startled when nothing came into mind, it should feel wrong just to leave these humans like this but no guilt or anything of the sort plagued him mind.

Levi shook his head "Nothing, lets go"

Erwin agreed, smiling slightly.

Levi was a bit thrown how easily Erwin seemed to have forgiven him for what he'd done.

It was strange thinking back to it. He'd done everything himself but it hadn't seemed like himself, if that made sense?

But he still didn't feel a shred of guilt for what he had done.

Levi licked his lips, remembering the taste of the blood.

No...

He didn't regret it at all.

Erwin told them to meet back at the building where Levi was kept when he'd just transformed and where he went to feed.

He was going to talk to the Garrison Military about how they got the fake information about the vampires from.

He arrived at the building suddenly Levi felt himself tensing, something was wrong...The door was swinging wide open...

Mike and Hange tensed behind him.

Looking at them before he entered, his senses on high alert.

Mike and Hange went to check the other rooms.

Someone had defiantly been here.

Levi tensed, a low growl rumbling from his chest,

"Ooh how scary" A odd scratchy voice giggled, behind him

Levi's eyes widened, he spun around, teeth bared, his eyes flashing red in warning but...nothing was there...

He couldn't smell anything either or hear someone come up from behind him, so where had that voice come from?

Was he going crazy?

Hange suddenly came into the room, her eyes wide "I thought I heard something around this area, you okay Levi?"

He nodded.

"I thought I...never mind" He muttered.

Then...

"Levi! Who are you talking to?"

But.

No.

That was Hange's voice further away in the building!

Levi took a sharp intake of breath as he looked at the Hange that was standing in front of him.

She looked a little alarmed then she...smiled?

Her eyes flashed a different colour, a dark purple.

"You're not Hange!" Levi hissed.

She grinned then there was quick sliver of movement, Levi blinked and the not Hange was gone.

Mike and Hange burst into the room.

Levi stared at what he presumed to be the real Hange.

"I-I saw" He said shakily.

"What happened!" Mike demanded.

"There were two of you!" Levi snapped, pointing towards Hange "I'm mean she wasn't you because your eyes don't glow purple and you were other there but-!"

"Slow down Levi" Hange said.

Seriously was he going insane?

"Wait, did you say her eyes glowed purple?!" Mike suddenly asked, looking tensed up.

Hange swore under her breath.

"What, what is it?" Levi growled.

"Skin Walker" Mike hissed.

Levi stared at him then groaned "You've got to be kidding me!"

"His not" A voice sneered from behind them.

Hange, Mike and Levi twisted around to see Erwin leaning on the door?

No, not Erwin.

Erwin didn't have glowing purple eyes.

"What are you, some kind of shapeshifter?!" Levi demanded.

"Thats another name for our kind" Erwin, no the skin walker replied.

"What are you doing here?!" Mike growled.

"Not to see you, oh fangs away please. I don't bite...promise" The Skin Walker sniggered.

It's skin suddenly shuddered, like something was moving underneath then Levi watched as the Skin paled even more and its shape changed, the skin first giving it an warped sort of look then the body.

Levi stared at...himself?

"I've come to see you" The Skin Walker murmured, walking closer to him.

"Why!" Levi snarled, tensing.

"I came to tell you a secret" It said, lowering its voice.

Levi frowned, trying to look nonplussed but he knew if his heart was beating it would be pounding in his chest right now.

"I thought you might want to know...who the Blood Master is" It said with a sickening grin.

Hange and Mike tensed behind him.

"They don't want you to know but I do but for a price of course, or favour but before that why don't we play a game?" As it was talking its skin rippled once more and Hange was now standing in front of him.

The real Hange tensed up even more.

"Catch me and I'll tell you who the Blood Master really is, lets see how fast you really are" It sneered.

Suddenly its leg came up and smashed into his chest, sending Levi flying in the opposite direction.

Levi lept up but the Skin Walker was already gone.

He swore angrily and yelled at Mike and Hange as he ran out of the room "Help me!"

Hange and Mike looked at each other.

Mike hissed at her once Levi was out of ear shot "Remember, we can't have Levi find her first, he can't find out who the Blood Master is, not yet!"

Hange nodded quickly then asked "What do you want us to do if you or I find the Skin Walker before him?"

"Kill it" Mike growled.
