(I own only plot.)

Mara was four months pregnant and she was desperate for chocolate fudge cupcakes. A loud yell of "Mu-u-u-um" woke Trudy up.

Groaning loudly, Trudy threw a pillow over her head. "Not again!" She groaned.

"Mum!" Mara's loud yell made her get up.

"I will be so glad when her cravings are over." Trudy groaned. "Why are pregnant teenagers so fussy?"

Jasper mumbled "I remember it being you."

Trudy grouched "Don't bring it back up, Jasper."

"Mu-u-u-u-u-um!" Mara screamed.

"I'm coming!" Trudy yelled.

She got cupcakes and took them to her pregnant daughter. Mara smiled. "Thanks, Mum."

"That's fine, darling. But next time, when it's four thirty in the morning, just remember, no screaming unless you're in labour." Trudy told her and kissed her cheek.

Mara shrugged. "OK. Mum, when is it normal for babies to kick?"

"Uh, at about four months. Yours should move soon, love." She smiled.

It shocked both of them when Mara said "Well, I don't know if soon means right now, but yeah, right now."

Trudy smiled at her. "Really?!" She asked, excitedly.

"Yeah, really." Mara smiled.

Trudy sat down and hugged her daughter. "Aw, darling! Listen, I want a chat, since we're both up."

Mara smiled. "Yeah, shoot."

Her mother asked "Have you got any names for it?"

"Mm, one for each. A boy would be Taylor and a girl would be Skyler. What do you think?"

Trudy kissed her daughter's cheek. "Perfect, darling. Listen, baby, I love you and the baby. You know that, right?"

Mara snuggled into her mother's arms. "Well, yeah. I love you, too, Mum. And so does baby. Thanks, Mum."

The older woman looked at her daughter in confusion. "What for, baby?"

"For being here for me. For wanting me to have the best in life. For accepting me. For accepting the baby. Not abandoning me." She whispered.

Trudy's heart broke to hear her daughter's words. She gave her a gentle squeeze and a kiss to the head. "Oh, baby girl. I'll never abandon you again."

Mara loved her mother more and more, bonding warmly with her. The two fell asleep, cuddled up.
