Always Have, Always Will
"…Seto Sorcerer,"
Seto stood from his chair as he was called, walking towards the stage and up to the podium in his red cap and gown. Everyone called, but only because they had to, not because they were happy for him. As he reached the podium, he shook the principal's hand and took the diploma wrapped in a red ribbon courteously.
Seto then faced the podium and the people in the audience, his hazel-brown eyes scanning the crowd. Of course, he thought, they didn't show up. As he started thinking about his parents, he opened his mouth to begin his little speech of thanks – but his voice didn't go through the speakers.
Ty's did.
"If I may say a few words for Seto, Ms. Meel," Ty's voice echoed through the speakers. Seto's eyes darted towards the ginger that slowly stood up from his chair. He wore a pair of black headphones, holding a microphone in his hand as he adjusted his red gown. Ms. Meel, the principal, nodded even though a scowl was very visible on her face.
The audience all looked at Ty as he brushed some hair from his face before speaking.
"Seto, I won't stand to see you read off a speech typed on a piece of paper that is completely full of lies," Seto stared at Ty, closing his mouth yet still shocked. "Seto, I am the only friend who can see through your façade. You are hurting inside. You bottle up your thoughts and try not to lose yourself like a champion.
"Your parents never come to your ceremonies, but you never let that stop you. How do I, of all people, know this? I have yet to see a scratch on you since you started highschool." The brunette felt his eyes start watering.
"You always have a genuine smile on your face when you are with your friends. I see your face light up when you get a B or higher in any class. When I go to your house, I hear the snod comments your parents give you. Yet you never go down without fighting back. Seto, you are a champion. More of a champion then anyone of us here at this campus right now. And I have one thing to say for that."
Ty paused and the audience waited while Seto continuously fought back tears. Then, Ty walked down the bleachers – away from his classmates and fellow graduates – and towards the stage. He stared right into Seto's eyes as he started talking into the microphone.
"Seto Sorcerer, Champion of Seniors, whenever you feel that no one cares – I want you to look into your heart and remember these words-" It looked like Ty hesitated for a second before continuing.
"I will ALWAYS care about you…and…I-I will always love you, no matter what the world thinks." Once Ty said that, Seto started sobbing – hands over his face to hide such a sight. Ty smiled, setting the microphone down and embracing his friend and future boyfriend. The audience started clapping, some in tears, while the other graduates threw their hats in the air, screaming and clapping in victory to the new found love.
Fin.
Okay, um... I quote-on-quote 'graduated' today. I went from 8th grade to 9th grade. Yea.. from now on I'm a 9th grader. I had started thinking about graduation for highschoolers and stuff and then I started thinking about Setolox and this happened. I guess you figured out that in the beginning Ty liked Seto, but had no way of expressing it until now.
Its all fiction, sadly you need to remember that ;~;
