Where I'd Be
The fire crackled comfortingly in a small brick fireplace. Huddled around it were two figures, a humorous human and an intelligent sorcerer. They talked of past times, from horribly planned parkour jumps to the funniest jokes the two could remember.
"-and Sky is literally screaming his head off, attracting the attention of more zombies."
Seto, the sorcerer, laughed, rubbing his eyes.
"How in the world does Sky do it? I mean, wow. When he screams everyone in the entire world, no, entire universe could hear it!"
"Oh Seto, Notch could probably hear it," Ty replied.
The sorcerer laughed again, followed by his red-headed boyfriend. Then it was quiet, the sound of the wind and fire keeping the silence broken. The two just stared into the fire, letting time pass by without a care in the world.
"...I haven't laughed like that in a long time.."
"Heh.. yeah.. It's been awhile since anyone has laughed like this.."
An arm wrapped around Seto's shoulders and pulled him closer to the figure beside him. The sorcerer rested his head on the figure shoulder and closed his eyes. "Where would I be without you…"
Ty chuckled.
"Laughing at idiots with Notch, more than likely."
