Chapter 3

Tsuruhime's House

It was 7:29pm and Tsuruhime was all worn out. She propped herself to her bed and sighed to herself. Today was fun, I got make some new friends...but...She thought about Nathaniel and how he was mostly doing everything for her when she could've done it herself.

Nathaniel is such a gentleman but I just feel like burden since he did mostly everything for me today, I know I was new and all but I could've done it myself. She sighed and smiled to herself.

She liked Nathaniel, as a good and helpful friend. She wouldn't want to date him because he seems to be busy a lot and she would get in his way of work and she would not want that.

A knock was heard on the other side of her door and she sat up from her bed, wondering who it was.

"Who is it?" she asked. "It's Kazuto." a voice said from behind the door. She flinched a bit and pulled her knees up,holding it close to her. She found out that Kazuto and her weren't brother and sister two years ago. She figured that Kazuto knew that for a long time and that's why he has been avoiding her ever since until now.

Though she pretended that she didn't know anything until she was ready to burst. "Onii-chan! You can come inside you know, you don't have to knock." she told him.

Kazuto opened the door and came in quietly, shutting the door behind him. "So how was your first day at school?" he asked as he came up to her bed, sitting next to her.

"It was good~ Except I felt like burden to the student body president though..."she said shamefully as she held her knees close to her.

Kazuto chuckled at her and ruffled her head, "Hey, he just wanted to help you is all, and he is in charge of lives of every single student in the school."

Tsuruhime smiled at him, "Yea, that's true..." Kazuto smiled at her and kissed her cheek, before ruffling her hair. "Well, I'll talk to you later. Night" he said, getting up from her bed, heading towards the door.

"Night!" she said, smiling at him before he closed the door completely. She thought to herself...I wonder what's with him..he'd seemed a bit nervous when we were talking...she sighed to herself and shook it off.

She looked at the time, "It's almost 10...I guess I should go to sleep..." she tucked herself into her bed and reached over turning off the light. She got comfortable into her bed before looking up at the ceiling.

She smiled to herself and she closed her eyes, drifting off to sleep.

Argh! I knew I should have put my alarm on this morning! Tsuruhime thought angrily at herself as she sprinted her way to school. Since she was in a major hurry to get to school she wore a chiffon casual summer dress with belt pink khaki lace up, black leggings, and simple white flat shoes.

Her hair was straightened up and it was tied into high ponytail. Luckily as she got to school, the bell hasn't rung yet and she sighed in relief.

Thank god the bell hasn't rung yet! I would really hate it if I was late for school on my second day, the principal might kill me! She thought to herself tiredly as she got into the classroom.

As she sat down in her seat, a hand tapped her behind the shoulder, startling her. She turned around and saw Ken sitting behind her, giving her a goofy smile.

"Tsuruhime! I'm glad I finally got to talk to you today! You seemed so busy yesterday you had to do some stuff right?" He asked her, smiling at her.

She smiled back at him, giving him a slight nod. Back in her old school, Ken and her went to the same school together. They weren't really considered as close, but they were friends with each other.

"S-So Tsuruhime...I-I was wondering if you would like to hang out after school today..." Ken nervously asked, twiddling with his thumbs.

The young brunette blinked once, focusing on the boy's face for a bit before laughing quietly. Despite there were times that Ken can annoy her a bit with his love obsession with her that he would stalk or follow her around back in their old school, he was still a nice guy and very good, trustworthy friend.

"Sure! Let's hang out later, it'll be fun!" Tsuruhime happily responded to him. And with that answer resulted a loud squeak from Ken, causing her to smack his arm to quiet down.

"S-Sheesh Ken! Pipe down! You don't want the principal to come barging in here to see what the ruckus was about! " She scolded him as she pinched his cheeks tightly.

"Ehehehe s-sorry but I'm just so excited!" He exclaimed to her happily. Honestly how he felt in the inside that he thought Tsuruhime hated him, that she didn't want to have anything to do with him! But clearly he was wrong.

Tsuruhime was the nicest, clumsy but yet cheerful and most prettiest girl in the school! He was lucky to get acknowledge by her!

"S-So uh. . .I-I'll meet you in front of the school then-?"

Tsuruhime nodded her head before ruffling his hair, smiling happily at him. "Mhm, and we'll go hang out together just like old times!"

As the two were laughing and talking together, a certain blonde was staring at the two of them from a distance.

The person grinned slightly, "Hmph. . . . Nathaniel isn't going to like this~"
