"Ahhh!" A scream rang across the house startling its occupants. "Remus I'm gonna KILL you!"
Sirius and Shettiah let out loud laughs when they saw Remus run through the living room an angry Hero at his heals. Hero looked ready to kill. After a few minutes the laughter died down and Hero was still chasing after Remus.
"Moony what did you do to make Moonette so angry with you?" Sirius called out trying to figure out what was wrong.
"Nothing I swear. I was just being a good husband and kissing her!"
"You snuck up on me while I was watching a horror movie! You scared me to death! That is not something a good husband does Remus." Hero yelled back.
There were a couple of loud bangs coming from the kitchen before Hero came out wielding a rolling pin. When Sirius saw her he knew Remus was in serious trouble.
"You better run faster, mate. She has a weapon now!"
Sirius put his arm around Shettiah and relaxed, enjoying the show. Tia cuddled into him. He couldn't believe how good his life was. He had a wonderful and beautiful girlfriend. He lived with his best friend and his wife, and his girlfriend.
Remus let out a shriek as Hero finally tackled him. Sirius and Shettiah left the room knowing that it would be best if they weren't intruding on Hero and Remus' moment.
"Would saying I'm sorry help?" Remus asked.
Hero put on a fake thinking face. "Depends on how you say it."
Remus made a face to match hers. "How about with chocolate?"
"Works for me but only if you have pickles to go with. That sounds insanely good."
"I still don't get you and we are married. Chocolate and pickles? Would you like some turkey to go with that?" He asked sarcastically.
"Actually now that you mention it..."
Remus rolled his eyes. "I'll get some turkey too."
"Then I accept your apology. Now go get me my food."
"You have to get off of me first, love."
Remus came back from the store to find Tia, Sirius, and Hero in a dog pile on the couch. He set down the groceries and through himself on the pile. This resulted in a lot of pushing a poking until only Sirius and Tia where left on the couch.
"This means war!" Hero exclaimed.
"It's always war!" Tia pointed out. "Ever since Sirius tripped you when we first entered this house!"
Hero rolled her eyes. "Do you have my food?" She asked Remus.
"Of course."
Before the two got to the kitchen there was a knock at the door. The pair went to answer it together since they were already up. At the door was no other than Professor Dumbledore with a sleeping child in his arms. The fun and cheerful atmosphere of the house died as they invited the old man in to hear some of the worst news of their lives.
AN: I know this isn't the longest but I did my best considering I haven't written anything new for this in 3 or so years. Please enjoy this alternate ending I hope I didn't traumatize anyone too badly with my other ending.
