Chapter Thirteen

Ally's P.O.V
"Ok Samantha, are you ready?" I ask my partner in crime. After hearing her faint "yes", I am able to finally able to initiate my plan! I am so eager to get my loved ones back, that I will stop at nothing. Unfortunately it seems that Sam is having doubts. I shrug off her hesitation and I use the laser to cut a circular hole in the library's roof. After that's done, I make sure my safety harness is secure and I attach the rope that will lower me down into the library. Samantha will stay on the roof to keep watch and to make sure the rope doesn't snap. I give her the go-ahead to lower me down, and as soon as my feet touch the floor, I am automatically heading towards the last place we saw the book. The check-out counter. As I reach under the counter, feeling for the giant leather book, I finally feel my fingers brush against the spine of the magical book. As I am gazing at the book that will change my life forever I thought I heard a noise, and I could've sworn I saw a shadow move! Not wanting to get caught, I tuck the book under my arm and I give the rope a few quick tugs. Soon, I feel Samantha pulling the rope up and I can't help but think, " I finally have what will make my life better."
Master's P.O.V
Gazing into my magical seeing orb I see this "Ally" looking for the book. I am amused by the fact that she doesn't know she will be the destroyer of all of humankind and that she won't ever get what she wants. I wonder how she can so easily believe that a spell can bring her loved ones back, but honestly the only explanation is: She's mortal. Anyway, I see she finally has The Book in her possession and she is slowly making her escape. I know she's eager, so she will most likely say the spell soon, but all I have to do is wait. But how can you wait patiently when your dream is finally going to happen? When all of humankind will become your slaves, and you can take back your throne?
Ally's P.O.V
Omg! Omg! Omg! I can't believe I got the book! Now I can finally get my Mom, Dad, Austin, Trish back! Then maybe Adam will forgive me, and my life will go back to normal. I could only wish. Before now.
