Making Out

This wasn't supposed to happen.

Sharon was going to tell Brenda why they had to stop. She had driven over to Brenda's house, her mind set on telling the chief why the flirting, the brushes of hands, and especially the sultry looks had to all stop. There were reasons why married people shouldn't flirt with other people, reasons why she herself should not be flirting back, and reasons why the whole thing was wrong. But as soon as she started explaining all of this, calmly telling Brenda those words she had skillfully worked together to make Brenda understand, the blonde leaned in and kissed her.

It was one of those kisses that stole your breath away, made you moan in the back of your throat as your mind shut off and your mouth moved without your permission. Brenda had been sitting beside Sharon on the sofa, and for a few minutes she looked like she was paying attention to what Sharon was saying. It wasn't until the blonde's eyes dropped to Sharon's mouth that the older woman realized she wasn't listening. Sharon had subconsciously licked her lips, which only brought more attention to them, possibly being what made Brenda finally close the space between them.

Brenda moving over and sitting so close to her that she might as well be on top of her wasn't what was supposed to be happening. She'd thought of kissing Brenda before, but never had she imagined her lips to be as soft as they were. The feeling of Brenda's lips sliding against her own was a delicious sensation she couldn't have possibly worked up in her imagination. Brenda's lips were warm and tasted of Merlot, as did her tongue when it swept against Sharon's lips, slowly and skillfully. Sharon hadn't imagined herself parting her lips with a hungry moan, pulling the blonde closer to her with one hand weaved through blonde locks and the other on the back of the woman's neck. It wasn't supposed to be happening. For God's sake, they were in the house Brenda shared with her husband. She shouldn't be kissing her, not there or anywhere else.

She wasn't thinking clearly, her brain foggy from the eruption of pent of sexual desire and tension that had been building for over a year. Still, foggy brain and all, she couldn't explain what led her to pushing Brenda back against the sofa, her body covering the blonde's instantly as she brought their mouths back together for another heated kiss. There was an urgency, a need that was strong on both their parts. Brenda kissed her roughly, her hands grabbing her ass and pulling her closer. Sharon groaned and instantly pressed her thigh against Brenda, knowing what kind of pleasure she was causing the other woman when she responded by rocking and lifting her hips. For once Sharon stopped thinking, stopped trying to do what was right, and did what felt good. And, at that moment what felt good was kissing Brenda, forgetting that the other woman had a husband who would be back in a few days.

This wasn't supposed to be what happened. But this was much better than what she expected.
