Here is the next chapter of your favorite story! AND DON'T YOU DARE SAY HUNGER GAMES!

So, let's begin.

Persephone's POV

My mom, looking rather hurt, materialized out of the room. I buried my head in my hands.

"I didn't mean to make her upset," I sobbed. "After all her nagging, I had just about enough. So, I snapped at her."

"She deserved it," Hades mumbled. I elbowed him.

"Shut-up! She did not," I started to cry. Hades awkwardly began to pat my shoulder.

"There... there," He said feebly, looking uncomfortable. Aunt Hera rolled her eyes.

"You're husband of the year, aren't you Hades?" She said, sarcastically.

"Don't go casting stones. Your husband isn't much better," Hades said. Zeus' eyes narrowed.

"Excuse me?" He asked. I swore I could see some sparks fly off his shirt. Uh oh.

"I'll go talk to Demeter," Hestia said, standing up. Both of the brothers took their eyes off each other to glance at Hestia.

"Are you sure?" Zeus asked.

Hestia nodded. "Yes."

Then, she walked over to me and patted my shoulder.

"Don't you worry dear, I'm sure she's fine. Demeter knows you didn't really mean it. She's just a little upset, that's all," Auntie Hestia gave me a reassuring smile. Then she materialized out of the room and I wiped off my eyes. After Zeus made sure I had calmed down, he spoke to me.

"If you still wish to go, it's your turn," he said. I nodded.

"I still wish to go," I said. Since Hestia had just left and Hebe was off having a tea party with Ares and Hermes was filming it, I didn't have a lot of choices left. Only Athena and Dionysus. And, To be honest, I was much too scared to dare Athena (there's no telling how the wisdom goddess would react if I did something she didn't like) so I decided to ask Dionysus.

"Dionysus, Truth or Dare?" I asked. He quirked an eyebrow.

"Dare, I suppose." Dionysus said with an indifferent tone. I considered my dare for a moment.

"I want you to go a week without soda," I said. Dionysus began to sputter and gave me this affronted look, like he could hardly believe that I had the audacity to do this to him.

"F-Father," He stuttered to Zeus. "This is unfair! I've already had my wine taken away. This... This is just inhumane!"

I'm sure that if Ares had been here, he would be splitting his sides laughing. Zeus sighed.

"I'm sorry Dionysus but rules are rules. You have no choice but to follow them," Zeus said.

"Fine," Dionysus said. He waved his hand and the soda he had been drinking disappeared. Then he glared at me, purple flames dancing in his eyes. "You're going to regret that, flower goddess."

Hmm, maybe I should have asked Athena.

Ares' POV

I wish I wasn't immortal. I wish I wasn't immortal. I wish I wasn't immortal...

"Would you like some more tea, Miss Honeycakes?" My little sister Hebe asked, picking up a tea pot. Unfortunately, I was obligated to play along. I smiled weakly.

"Of course, Lady Hebe!" I said, in a high, feminine voice. If Rhea wasn't dad's mom, I'd destroy her and toss her remains to Tartarus. I was currently wearing a pink dress over my outfit and had loads of make-up on my face (I'm sure Aph would have a heart attack if she saw me in all this make-up). I finally knew what it felt like to be a Barbie doll. And it didn't feel nice.

Hermes sat in a corner (curse that little punk), filming everything that was going on. I swear, as soon as the hour is up, I'm going to squash the little creep.

I took a sip of tea. Then I resisted the urge to make a face. How can anyone like this stuff?

"Are you enjoying your tea, Miss Honeycakes?" Hebe asked, smiling as sweetly as ever. Hermes smiled too.

"Yeah, how does it taste, Miss Honeycakes?" He asked. I smiled a strained smile.

Through gritted, I said, "It tastes simply divine. I really, really love tea."

I crushed the cup in my hand.

Hebe stared for a while before grabbing my hand. "Oh my goodness, Miss Honeycakes! Are you alright?"

"I'm fine, Lady Hebe," I replied, sighing. Only the tip of my thumb had been cut and a small trickle of gold ichor flowed out of it. Hebe bit her bottom lip in concern.

"Here! Let me get you a Band-Aid." Hebe began to dig through her bag.

"It really won't be ne—"

"Got it!" She shouted. She pulled out two different Band-Aid boxes. "I have two different types you can choose from: Hello Kitty or My Little Pony. Which would you like Miss Honeycakes?"

Hermes was laughing up a storm in his corner. Oh, how I wish he wasn't immortal. Then I could kill him.

"I guess... My Little Pony," I replied, just wanting to get this over with. Only forty-five more minutes. She quickly pulled out a Band-Aid and wrapped it around my finger.

"Oh, look! You got Fluttershy. She's a good one," My sister told me. I looked dubiously down at the pinked mane, yellow pony wrapped around my finger. It stared back at me with large blue-green eyes. I soften a bit. Well, I guess she is kind of cute...

"Would you like some more tea now?" Hebe asked. I smiled, a little less painful than the other ones.

"Of course Miss Hebe! I'd love some!"

Leto's POV

"Are you sure you want to do this?" Hecate asked me, her eyes shining with worry. "You have no clue what you could find in that world."

I strapped a sword to my side. "I made a promise to my son. I'm going to go through with it. Besides, have you ever known me to cower out of things before?"

"Still," Hecate said, pursing her lips. "No one would blame you if you did."

"I'm going to the alternate world. Now, open the portal," I said defiantly. Still looking reluctant, Hecate got the portal ready. I stepped over to the portal.

"Well, wish me luck," I said.

"You'll need to talk to Tyche about that," Hecate said. I smirked and walked into the portal.

Oh. My. Olympus...

This... this place... it's horrible!

The sun was shining bright and all the gods skipped through the meadows on Olympus (at least, I guess this was Olympus) like they were high on... something. I don't know what. Cats flew through the air farting rainbows. Or was it pop tarts farting rainbows? I really couldn't tell.

Eris, the goddess of discord, came skipping up to me. I took an uneasy step back, my hand subconsciously grabbing the hilt of my sword.

"Can I help you?" I asked uneasily. She broke into a wide grin.

"Caaa-aaan IIIIIIIIIIII heeeeeellllpppppp yooooooooouuuuuuu...?!" She sang, in a rather loud, obnoxious voice. I covered my ears.

"Why are you singing?!" I shouted.

"Loooord Apooolloooo has decreeeed, that we all should siiiiing!" Eris sang even louder. Ugh. So this is what my son would do if he were in charge. I needed to have a talk with him when I got back.

"Well, if you don't mind, I'll just be leaving now—"

"Ca-Caw! Ca-Caw!" Eris called out like a bird. What on earth? Suddenly, I could hear dozens of 'Ca-Caws' coming from all around me. Maybe I really should leave now...

Before I could, dozens of gods materialized around me, practically glowing in anger.

Eris pointed at me. "This gooooddess, refuses to siiiiiiiing!"

"Even though it is what King Apolloooo has decreeeeeeeed!" Sang Ares. I winced. He really shouldn't pursue any career in music.

"This goooodeeeessss," Poseidon sang. "Is clearly not smaaaaaart!"

"Now let's tear her, apaaaaaart!" Eris finished. The others began to cheer in agreement. Crap!

Demeter's POV

I walked through my garden, trying not to feel sick.

"Maybe he didn't 'force' me. Maybe, I was willing to marry him to get away from my crazy mom!"

Did my daughter really hate me that much? So much so that she was willing to marry a guy she was scared of back then to get away from me?

Perhaps I was a bit overbearing. No, I am overbearing. Even I can see that. But I just want to protect her, that's all.

Also, I want what's best for her. And living in the dark, dank Underworld with the King of the Dead isn't any place where the goddess of springtime belongs. She deserves to be in the nice warm sunshine, growing flowers; not being torn away from her mother each Fall. The Underworld is the opposite of everything she needs. A goddess who brings life to the world should not have to rule over the dead. She's so much better than that.

"Demeter?" I heard someone say. I was half hoping it was my daughter coming to consul me, but it was only Hestia.

"Oh, it's just you," I said, smiling weakly. "I was kind of hoping you where my daughter."

"I understand," Hestia said, walking over to me. "Are you alright sister? You know Persephone didn't mean what she said, right?"

"I... I guess so," I said. "I just have no way of knowing for sure."

"You do, actually. After you left, Persephone said that she had only spoken out of anger and didn't really mean it," Hestia said, sitting down on one of the benches. Really? My daughter hadn't meant it? I sat down next to Hestia.

"Are you sure?" I asked. Hestia gave me a reassuring smile.

"Absolutely."

Well, I feel better now. At least I know that my daughter doesn't hate me.

"You must consider though, that her anger wasn't unprovoked," Hestia continued, looking at me pointedly. "She was upset for a reason."

"I know. It's just... my daughter deserves so much more than what she has. Giving her the land of the dead to rule is like giving Poseidon the Sahara to rule," I said, my shoulders sagging. Hestia studdied me closely.

"You feel like your daughter deserves the best," A statement, not a question.

"Yes," I replied.

"Then perhaps, she already has it," Hestia said thoughtfully.

"Huh?" I asked, turning my head. Hestia's lips were pursed and she had a contemplative look.

"If she has a caring mother and a husband she loves, then I believe she is in a good situation," Hestia said. "The only thing left you have to give is your blessing to allow her to love the man she loves."

"You can't possibly expect me to condone their marriage," I said incredulously.

"You don't have to condone it but, perhaps, you should at least consider giving them a break," Hestia said. "I bet if you stop yelling at Hades all the time and complaining about his marriage with your daughter, Persephone would feel less of a need to yell at you."

I pursed my lips too. After a bit of thought, I replied, "I'll consider it."

Hestia smiled. "That's all I ask. Now, if you're ready, let's go back to the game."

Poseidon's POV

This was too good to be true. There was only one person left to pick, and she'll be so much fun to pick on...

"Athena," I said with a grin. "Truth or Dare?"

"Truth," she replied. Then she looked at me with a cold gaze. "I suggest you consider your question carefully. There is nothing in the rules against me hurting you."

Party pooper. But, I wasn't about to let her scare me off. Hmm, what to ask...?

"I can see you need time to think about it," Athena said, standing up. "Feel free to discuss it with the others. I'll come back in five minutes."

With that, she materialized out of the room.

"Guys, I need help! What can I ask that will immortally embarrass her?" I asked, looking around the table. Everyone considered this.

"Ask her if she's ever fallen in love!" Aphrodite squealed.

"She has," Zeus mumbled. "There's an entire cabin to prove it."

"Ask her what torture she would prefer in the Underworld," Hades, my useless brother, suggested. I sighed.

"That's not an embarrassing question. That's just technical," I said. Demeter and Hestia materialized into the room. "You two: do you know an embarrassing question I can ask Athena?"

Demeter shrugged. "Perhaps you can you could ask her how she would feel if Aphrodite said that her being the most beautiful goddess on Olympus is a joke?"

"Actually, I've already told her that." Aphrodite said.

"Hestia?" I asked hopefully.

"I'm not helping."

I groaned and buried my face in my hands. Then I glanced up at the time. I had about four minutes now.

"Guys, I need your help here," I said a bit frantically. Apollo rose his hand.

"Ooh! Ooh! I got a question that's not really embarrassing but it'll get her in trouble." He said.

"That's good enough!" I said. He ran over and whispered it in my ear. I smiled slightly to myself. It was a good one! She'll get into so much trouble when she has to answer it!

That's that chapter!

Btw, Tyche is the goddess of luck, just so you know. Also, this chapter is over 2,000 words because several of you requested it to be that long. Another tid-bit of information is that this has more POVs than any other chapter.

So, please comment and tell me how awesome I am!
