Here is chapter 13!

I've decided to try a new POV in this chapter: Aphrodite.

So, enjoy!

Aphrodite's POV

Ooh, I just love this game! I'm so glad I thought of it.

Now, who to choose...

There's just so many choices. I can ask Zeus a question about his recent girlfriends to stir up trouble between him and Hera (I just love drama!), or ask Artemis if she use to have a thing for Zoë (come on, I can't be the only person who has suspected something).

Wait, I know!

"Hestia, truth or dare?" I asked. It's safe to assume that she'll probably pick truth since she's more cautious than the rest of us. Also, not to mention, she's a lot less prideful than the guys here so she doesn't feel like she's got anything to prove.

"Truth, I guess," Hestia replied timidly. I smiled sweetly, in an attempt to help calm her nerves. I might as well, considering the question I'm about to ask her.

"Have you ever fallen in love?" I asked, straight to the point.

"E-Excuse me?" She stuttered, looking like she couldn't believe I had just asked that. My smile got bigger.

"Have you ever fallen in love?" I repeated again for her. "I mean, Athena had Odysseus and Artemis had Orion, so I'm just wondering if you ever had someone."

"Oh," Hestia said quietly, scooting down in her seat.

"I bet it was me." Poseidon said, wiggling his eyebrow at her. She blushed.

"No way!" Apollo shouted, standing up. "I bet it was me!"

Aw, how cute! They're both fighting over her. I remember when they both proposed to her. It was before she became a virgin. In fact, because they both proposed to her at the same time, she chose to become a virgin to avoid having them go to war over her. A silly decision in my opinion, but does anyone listen to me? No. I'm just the "stupid" love goddess.

I don't know why she would choose chastity to stop a war. I mean, how lucky was she? Two handsome gods were willing to go to war for her. There's some girls who are just dying for something like that to happen to them. Why do you think Twilight is so popular? Girls read it as a sort of wish fulfillment. They wish they were in Bella's position.

Ah, Jacob is so cute and Edward is such a romantic...

"It's not you two," Hestia told Poseidon and Apollo, smiling apologetically. Their shoulders sagged.

"Then who was it?" Queen Hera asked. Hestia shifted uncomfortably in her seat.

"Come on, Hestia," I said. "Nobody is above love. Not even the self-proclaimed virgins."

Athena and Artemis scowled in my direction.

"I might have fallen in love once, before the oath," Hestia said. I smiled victoriously. I knew it!

"So, who was it?" I asked.

Hestia pursed her lips. "I'm not telling."

"But you have to silly," I said. She shook her head, causing me to frown. What does she mean, no?

"The question was 'Have you fallen in love?' not 'With whom'," Hestia said. I pouted. No fair!

"It's fair," Athena said, looking at me. She either read my mind or read the look on my face. I can never tell with her.

"Okay," I mumbled dejectedly. Then, I got a brilliant idea. I'll ask Athena a question during my next turn! And I know just the question to ask that will mortify her.

Hera's POV

"Is it my turn now?" Zeus asked, although he clearly knew the answer.

"Yes," Aphrodite replied cheerfully, already over the fact Hestia wouldn't name the guy she had liked. Figures.

"Hades, truth or dare?" Zeus asked Hades. "Unless, of course, you still feel like hiding under the table like a coward."

Hades crawled out from under the table, his eyes flashing murderously. "I dare you to call me a coward again."

I groaned. Do they have to make everything a competition?

"So, what is it? Truth or dare?" Zeus asked again. My eyes narrowed at him. He's up to something, I just have yet to figure it out.

"Dare," Hades hissed, still upset about being called a coward. Zeus broke out into a wide grin (which he rarely does) and I knew that was the answer Zeus had been hoping for.

"I dare you to watch the MLP marathon with Ares," Zeus said. Hades got that sick look he had earlier and I glared at my husband. What a cruel thing to do to his brother! Doesn't he know when to not cross the line?

"Is there anything else I can do?" Hades mumbled feebly.

"What's wrong?" Poseidon asked, wanting to pick on his brother too. We have such a wonderful and kind family. "Are you too scared?"

"The Lord of the Dead does not fear pink ponies!" Hades shouted, getting out of his seat. I faced palmed.

"You don't have to do this Hades," I told him. Then I glared at my husband. "Does he, Zeus?"

"Yeah, he kinda does," Zeus replied.

My glare intensified and he withered back slightly. He held up his hands apologetically (although, I doubt he was sorry at all).

"Rules are rules, sweetheart. I can't change them," Zeus said. I snorted. Actually, he could technically change them, being the king of the gods and all, but he's just choosing not to because he wants to be mean to his brother.

I sighed. "Whatever, Zeus."

It's best not to argue with him. I learned over the millinium of marriage with him that there's just no getting through to him sometimes.

"Can I film him?" Hermes asked. Hades sent him a glare that would've made our father proud.

"Only if you're fine with being tortured in the Field of Punishments afterwards," Hades said, his tone cold as ice.

"I think I'll stay here," Hermes whimpered, slumping down in his seat.

After several minutes of coaxing Hades, Persephone was finally able to get him to go.

"Fine," Hades grumbled, walking out the door. "But, I better not hear any of you mention ponies in my presence again or I will slit your throats."

Poseidon's shoulders sagged while I nodded. "That's fine, Hades. Get going now."

He muttered a few choice words before exiting the kitchen.

"Who's turn is it now?" Artemis asked.

I smiled. "I believe it is my turn."

Artemis' POV

So it seems Lady Hera is going. I bet she is going to pick her husband so she can do something cruel to him again.

"Artemis, truth or dare?"

Damn the Fates.

"Er, truth I guess," I said. After the dare to kiss a boy, I wasn't ready to pick anything other than truth. Besides, considering Hera's track record, it'd be best for me to pick truth. Just look at all her revenge plans in the past. If the queen is anything, it's creative.

She considered this for a moment.

"What is the best quality about boys?" Hera asked. I got that sick feeling again, although it wasn't nearly as intense as when Aphrodite told me I had to kiss a boy.

"That's hard... there's not a lot of good," I said. The boys in the room looked at me offended.

"Hey, Artemis," my brother, Apollo, said. I sighed.

"What is it?" I asked.

"I know some really good things about boys," Apollo said.

"Oh, really?" I asked, dryly. He smiled and nodded.

"For one thing, they usually make better siblings than sisters do," Apollo said. My jaw dropped.

"They do not!"

"Do too!"

"Do not!"

"Do—!"

"QUIET!" Zeus yelled. We both shut-up.

After a while of silence, Zeus took a deep breath through his nose as if trying to calm himself. "Artemis, just answer the question."

"But, it's impossible!" I said. Surely, he must realize I can't answer this.

"It is not impossible. Now, humble yourself and admit that boys aren't as horrible as you make them out to be," My dad said in his end-of-discussion tone. I crossed my arms and huffed.

"Fine. Boys are... well..." What should I say? They're not better looking, they're not smarter and they're pretty much useless in everything.

"A boy's best quality is that he works with what he has," I said, satisfied with my answer. I guess I can't really blame boys for being such incompetents at everything they do, considering that they are born inept. They can't help it if they can't be nearly as good as the women. Boys are born with the curse of being boys.

My father sighed.

"Well, I guess that's the best answer we can expect from you," Zeus said. Aphrodite curled some of her obnoxiously perfect hair between her fingers.

"I can think of a few things boys are good at," Aphrodite said in a suggestive tone, hardly suppressing a giggle. I wrinkled my nose.

"You are truly a disgrace to women," I said. She just shrugged that insult off and smiled giddily.

"So, who's turn is it?" Hermes asked, eager to get on with the game.

"I believe it is mine," Athena said, her cold eyes scanning over us. Everyone shifted uncomfortably in their seats, not wanting to get picked. After a very long minute, Athena choose.

And the answer surprised us all.

Guess what?

Cliff-hanger!

Oh, and cookies to everyone who guessed I was going to say cliff-hanger.

So, how did you like the chapter? I hope you all enjoyed it.

I know it's been a long time since I've updated but I have an excuse this time(gasp!).

My computer's motherboard crashed and the only time I've been able to do anything on computer is at school. Hopefully, the next chapter will be up soon. I'm already working on it.

Btw, here's a factiod. 95% of American's celebrate Christmas though not all for religious reasons.

Interesting, huh?

Anyways, I hope you all have a nice day!
