Rin's P.O.V.

It's the day after the competition. It is dinner. Another day passed normally, with no tournament to win.

Losing the challenge disappointed me. And angered me. I just wanted to take my knife and stab him. No. They would hate me if I did that. It took all of my control during dinner not to strangle him.

I was now in the hall leading to outside the castle. We were allowed to leave the castle if we wore our disguise.

I began to walk out of the castle to the town. As soon as I exited the magnificent stone castle, a cool breeze hit my hair. The sky was a orange-pink color. The sun was beginning to set and the chatter of animals was beginning to quiet down.

As I began to walk towards the large thin gate that separated the castle from the outside world, I put on my disguise. It was a simple disguise, I had brown contacts and the hair was longer. But nobody could tell it was me.

I reached the gate and asked the guards to open the gates. The gates swung open with a creak.

I exited and stepped onto the bridge that was between the castle and the town. The bridge was a dark brown and it was very long.

The water was clear and fish could be seen swimming underneath the surface. I could see long blonde hair and brown eyes reflected in the water. It still looked like me. Maybe that was just because I always came to the town.

I walked across the bridge and into town. The smell of bread was in the air. Probably Teto.

I knew everyone in town. We were all friends. I was actually nice, but, to practice being a strict ruler, I has trained myself to be mean, cold. When I went to town, everyone thought I wasn't her, the evil princess. The town gave me a time to be who I really was.

I knew Teto, the bread maker, and her rival Ted. I knew Gumi, a girl who worked at the pet shop with Oliver. I knew so many more. Yet they would never truly now me.

I noticed people giving me looks. Oops. I guess I was just standing thinking. I move to a bench and sit down.

What will I do in town today?
