Sorry for taking centuries to update, my computer has been broken. However! This story has already gone past the main benchmarks, there's only about three chapters left so I'm going to wrap it up! I'm also planning some new stories so if you liked this one, stay tuned.
Beyond their Night Together
(Akin's perspective)
He thinks I'm beautiful. He thinks I'm special. He would never hurt me…he loves me. What I did was okay because we're going to be together forever. Lawliet wouldn't be disappointed, he's an understanding man. He would realize that this is love. No he wouldn't care at all. Would he….
Crash. I woke up and rose quickly searching for the origin of the loud sound. It was a mirror. A mirror broke. No, Beyond broke the mirror? What the hell was happening.
"WHAT DID YOU DO TO HER?" Beyond shouted, his voice echoing through the room. He picked up Amica's nightstand and threw it out of the single window that stood vulnerable in the center wall. The light shone in from the broken window and revealed tears pouring down Beyond's face.
"WE HAD A DEAL. YOU BASTARD GET OUT!" He threw himself against the wall and banged his head numerous times. Blood poured down his face from a crack in his hairline.
"Beyond! Stop! Please, darling what are you doing?" I yelled, restraining his hands so he couldn't harm himself further. He crumbled in my arms and wept uncontrollably.
"I'm so sorry. I'm so sorry. It'll never happen again…he will never happen again." He whispered through his sobs. Then it hit me. It collapsed on me in fact. The reality of the situation was I had just spent the night with Beyond Birthday.
"Beyond? It's… okay. Just stop crying please. It was still you… just a different you. Please, stop crying. For me?" I asked, stroking his black hair.
"It will never happen again. Never. He won't ever touch you again." Beyond promised me, grasping my hand tightly.
"I know, I know it won't. I trust you." I assured him, holding him even closer.
Lawliet was right. If they love you…. They wait…
(Beyond's perspective)
It'll never happen again. It'll never happen again. She only has a week left. One week. I have to protect her.
Beyond Birthday crawled into my thoughts.
C'mon Beyond, you and I both know that there's no way to save her. Let's give her a good time while she's alive. Hehe.
YOU LISTEN TO ME YOU SICK SORRY SON OF A BITCH IF YOU EVER TOUCH HER AGAIN I'LL-
You'll what? Kill yourself? Ooooh I'm so scared.
You think I won't do it? If you ever hurt Akin again, I will kill myself, but I'll make you suffer even if it means I have to suffer.
If you hurt her I'll set myself on fire.
Well Beyond you don't need to worry about that.
She'll be gone in seven days.
(Matt's Perspective)
"Oh my god. I found it. I found it!" I shouted, shaking Mello. He wouldn't wake up. I looked at the computer screen in astonishment.
This Amica girl lives in the city. 1031 Cadence Avenue. This is the address. This is where they have to be. I should tell L!
No. I thought about it for a second. Beyond had viciously ripped everything away from me. Getting him caught wasn't good enough. I had to take apart his little fantasy world and expose the girl for who she really is. If I told L, he might separate them before Beyond found out. I wanted Beyond to feel the pain. I wanted his heart to drop to the floor as he found out that his lover was the sister of L.
I printed a copy of Acadia's information and firmly grasped it in my hands. I grabbed an envelope from Mello's study desk and wrote the address on it in black ink. I couldn't send this with the regular mail. No, if someone where to read it… I would have to send it with the traveling currier. He usually came to deliver the council's "secretive mail" on Thursdays. If I slipped him a bribe he would take my letter to the city along with any mail the council gave him. It would take him another day to get to the city after he left Wammy's. All things considered I figured the letter would get there in about seven days.
Seven days and revenge would be mine.
(Amica's Perspective)
" Mam. Do you think Acadia is okay?" I asked her as we watched the sky through the window. The curtains framing her window were lace and yellow with age.
"Yes dear, you and I both know that Acadia is a very smart girl. She was raised by a genius you know. I'm sure she'll be fine." My mother said holding my head against her chest. Her words were comforting, but I had a prominent feeling in my gut that Acadia was in danger. My mind didn't wander from it the entire time I had spent with my mother, but I had to put on a brave face for her. I wouldn't want to burden her with worry while she was sick. I buried my face into her white nightgown.
Seven more days ,Acadia. I'll be there in seven more days.
Seven Days Later…
