Sorry, this chapter is short and rushed (if it seems that way.). School is driving me nuts.

By the next day, Davide's bodyguards occupied Giotto's mansion. Giotto thanked him for the support and sent Tsuna back into the room. He frowned at this as Giotto put the chain back on his ankle as no one was around. This happened for the whole week. Giotto released him and then put him back in as if he were afraid to lose him. He then left the room to do some paperwork.

For lunch, G came in and gave Tsuna a tray with food and water.

He went into the bathroom and narrated his actions as Tsuna watches.

"I'm going to replace the soap now… Brand new soap… Soap that will slip out anything no matter how tight…" G said as he finished and slowly opened the door. "Kid, just use the soap to escape from the chains." G was done being vague and leaves. Tsuna blinks in surprise and hurried to the bathroom to grab the soap. He rubbed the soap around his ankle to free himself from the chain. To his luck, he's free.

Tsuna took off the collar and took a quick glance at it. The collar said 'Natsu'.

'Natsu? It sounds like my own name, but with the two characters switched. Who is Natsu?' He thought.

He preferred not to stay any longer in fear of Giotto finding him and tossed the collar on the bed. He exited the room, which G left unlocked for him, and ran barefooted down many hallways and flights of stairs. Suddenly, he took a sharp turn and ran straight into someone.

"Are you alright? I'm terribly sorry!" A hand was outstretched to him gently.

"Y-yeah, I'm fine. I wasn't looking where I was going…" Tsuna took the hand and stood up to see that the 'someone' was none other than Davide.

"No, no. It's my fault!" Davide said. "Tsunayoshi, am I correct? My nephew, Giotto talked about you." Davide said, smiling.

"Y-yeah…" Tsuna looked away.

Davide noticed Tsuna's reaction and was worried. "My dear boy, what's wrong?"

"Nothing…"

"Awww, come one now. You can tell uncle Davide."

Tsuna looked up at the man and felt a sense of uneasiness when around him. However, he doesn't seem to understand why. Davide seems like a nice man. Maybe it's because he smiles a lot. Tsuna decided to tell him of his troubles in the library room, but only the part with leaving his family, and how he is here for 'a job' (being a lie). He left out the parts about Giotto taking him here by force and raping him. Truly, he just wants to get out.

Davide was understanding when Tsuna said this and ruffled Tsuna's hair like a father would to his own son. He told Tsuna that everything's going to be alright when you believe in hope.

"I'm sure that you will be of fine use to Giotto." Davide said. "And also being able to grow a couple of more inches." Davide laughs.

Tsuna felt awkward about that last statement and couldn't help but chuckle a bit.

It was time for dinner and Giotto went to check on Tsuna. To his surprise, Tsuna was gone. He was about to break until he heard two familiar voices that sounded like Tsuna and Davide heading to the dining room. He was getting angry the moment he felt that Tsuna was getting along better with his uncle than himself—although he completely blames himself for it. He rushed to the dining room using an alternative route and sat down in his chair.

Davide and Tsuna arrived moments after Giotto did. Upon seeing Giotto's face, Tsuna shuddered. Davide didn't seem to notice and chose to sit next to his nephew. The guardians had long volunteered to guard the mansion's perimeter in case they were attacked by the enemy famiglia, so the three of them were the only ones here in the dining room. Tsuna chose a seat farthest from the two.

"My dear boy, why won't you sit with us?" Davide said, patting a seat right next to him…which is also a seat right next to Giotto.

Tsuna looked at Giotto and bit his lip. No way is he sitting next to him after what he did, but he thought about it during the time they went to the amusement park. He remembered a time when he knew Giotto when he was younger. What was all of that about?

'Which Giotto is which?' He thought to himself.

Davide still asked him to come sit and Giotto looked down at the table in sorrow. Tsuna eventually gave in and sat with the two. He looked away from Giotto and the blonde began to squirm a bit in his seat.

Before the food could arrive at the table, Asari bursts into the dining room.

"It's the Lavanda famiglia! We're surrounded!" Asari exclaimed.

Tsuna's face was panic-stricken and Giotto clenched his teeth. Davide shook a bit in panic and stood up quickly and excused himself to go get his men ready for battle. Asari left the dining room to go protect the mansion.

Giotto offered an outstretched hand to Tsuna. The brunette was quite shocked by this action. Is he able to trust the blonde boss?

Knowing what he was thinking of, "You can trust me. I'm really sorry for everything I've done to you up until this point, so I want you to trust me. Just this once is enough for me."

Their eyes met for a moment and Tsuna nodded. He took his hand and Giotto decided to lead the precious brunette to safety: in the basement. It's not the best place to hide, but it's a place that's barely occupied, so no one would look to go in here unless Giotto had some business here.

"Hide here. When everything's safe, I'll come back and look for you. Promise me that you won't leave the basement and injure yourself." Giotto held Tsuna's shoulders tight.

Tsuna nodded. Another promise…

Giotto then hastily walked towards the door and quickly stopped when Tsuna spoke.

"Wait!" Tsuna said.

Giotto spun around, "What is it?"

"Thank you…a-and be careful." A small smile was on Tsuna's innocent little face.

Giotto's heart skipped a beat and he smiled. "Anything for you, mi amore."

That last part made Tsuna blush and Giotto chuckle. The blonde then locked the basement door after closing it to prevent anyone else from coming in.

Gunshots and explosions were so loud that it could be heard in the basement. Many moments have passed and Tsuna was getting worried about Giotto's safety. Wait, why was he worrying?

'I'm so confused…' He thought to himself.

As the door's handle began to twist and turn, Tsuna stopped what he was thinking about and stood up.

'Giotto!'

He walked towards the door. The door was then kicked down by none other than Davide holding a gun and there was blood on his shoulder.

"Tsunayoshi boy? What are you doing hiding in here?" He said.

"Davide!" Tsuna said, "Are you alright?"

"Y-yeah… I'm quite alright…"

Tsuna ran up to him to look at his wound until his arm was suddenly grabbed by…Davide. An evil smile crept up on his face and his gun, pointed to the brunette's head.

"If you don't want to get hurt, walk with me." Davide's personality took a huge 180 degrees.

'I thought... Davide was a good guy...'
