Full Summary: This side series is connected to Sky Series 02: The Guarding Sky - Chapter 48. This is about the final battle between Kudo Shinichi, Miyano Shiho, Kuroba Kaito and their allies against the Black Organization and the Magic Kaito Organization.

Chapter 12 – The Heist

The next day, Kaitou Kid sends a warning card to Jirokichi that he will steal the 'Pearl Clam' in five days later. Jirokichi was excited and quickly set to work to double-check his security details. Sonoko as well was excited to see her Kid-sama and Makoto came back to Tokyo to challenge Kaitou Kid again.

Sonoko also invited Ran and Masumi to the heist with the three members of the Detective Boys tagging along. Kazuha and Heiji were invited to come along as well by Ran to take care of the three kids secretly. Aoko told her father that she wants to go with him to Tokyo to see Kaitou Kid with Saguru tagging along with her.

Kaito gave the excuse of going to visit someone and will not be able to accompany Aoko and Saguru. And of course, Shinichi and Shiho did not need to make up any excuses at all.

Four days later, all of them (except Takagi and Camel) were gathered in Shinichi's house. Shiho gave them each an ear-piece created by Agasa-hakase and Agasa-hakase told them good luck for tomorrow. Subaru told them to be careful too.

~ Heist day ~

The 'Pearl Clam' currently owned by Suzuki Jirokichi is kept in a museum within an open case and many people came. Nakamori-keibu and his subordinates were surrounding the case with Nakamori-keibu making sure everything was okay. Ran, Sonoko and Masumi were near the case with Jirokichi and Kogoro while Makoto was hiding in the shadows. Heiji and Kazuha were standing near Ran as Kazuha was taking care of the three remaining Detective Boys, Genta, Ayumi and Mitsuhiko with a reluctant Heiji.

Aoko was beside her father while Saguru was checking the security details surrounding the gem. Shinichi and Shiho were in the crowd of people that came to see Kaitou Kid, they were wearing disguises. It was also noted by Aoko that Akako came to watch this heist but Snake was not seen.

At 7 in the night, Kaitou Kid appeared on top of the case and Kaitou Kid's fans were cheering with Sonoko cheering the loudest. Suddenly, Makoto appeared from the shadows and tried to capture Kid but Kid stole the gem and vanished through the roof. Nakamori-keibu, his subordinates, Makoto and Masumi immediately went to chase Kid. Heiji told Kazuha and Ran to take care of the three kids before giving chase to Kid as well with Saguru following him.

Kaitou Kid had quite a hard time to escape as three high school detectives were chasing him down. Kid had to have Konosuke, Shinichi and Shiho's help in order to escape from them and the police detectives. They escaped to Shinichi's house where they changed back into their normal clothes.

(Author's note: Sorry about how I wrote how Kaitou Kid did in this heist in only just summary. Even though I love Kaitou Kid, I do not know how to write about his heist in details and I am lazy to write about it. Please make up your own version of this heist as you like but the ending is the same.)

Kaito went into Shinichi's room as the moon shies into his room when night come with Konosuke. Shinichi followed them as well while Shiho went to her computer room. Kaito holds the 'Pearl Clam' against the moonlight and inside the gem, it glowed red. Kaito and Konosuke gasped while Shinichi smirked.

Shinichi taps his ear-piece. "Everyone, it has been confirmed that the gem is true. Please return to base carefully and cautiously. We do not need the crows and its ally to know we have it this early of the plan."

Everyone that was not in Shinichi's house tapped their ear-piece to say 'okay' as they were in the presence of other people. And when the people surrounding them were distracted, they slipped away to Shinichi's house, using their different methods to go reach Shinichi's house before walking to it.

After all of them were gathered in Shinichi's house, the meeting started this time including Agasa-hakase, Konosuke and Subaru.

Kaito showed them the gem and told them it was truly the Pandora. Next, they started to plan about the future when the allied organizations finally noticed that Kaitou Kid had stolen the real Pandora.

Agasa-hakase and Konosuke were told to prepare for anything that will keep them safe and even put bombs in their houses as their houses and Konosuke's billiards parlour contain too much important information about Shinichi, Shiho and Kaito.

Shinichi texted his parents that he will be having the last confrontation against the Black Organization and that they should not interfere with it while Kaito video called his mom that he has stolen the real Pandora and if she wants to see it, she should fly back to Japan quickly.

The next day, they went back to their normal lives. Also, Chikage came back on that day and Kaito gave his mother the Pandora to safe-guard it.

Meanwhile, Shiho used the voice-changing bowtie to call the remaining Detective Boys as Haibara to tell them about her leaving the country to have further treatments for her illness and to stay near her parents. She also apologized to them for not telling them earlier as she had to leave in a hurry and can only call them in another country's airport as the time for her flight was early in the morning.
