Full Summary: This side series is connected to Sky Series 02: The Guarding Sky - Chapter 48. This is about the final battle between Kudo Shinichi, Miyano Shiho, Kuroba Kaito and their allies against the Black Organization and the Magic Kaito Organization.

Chapter 15 – After The Funeral, More Attacks

After the funeral was over…

~ Mouri family's Point Of View ~

Kogoro walked away with Eri and Ran following from behind.

"Do not walk so fast!"

Suddenly, Kogoro stopped. "I am sorry about this," and he immediately jumped towards Eri and Ran.

Eri and Ran were both shocked as Kogoro blocked them with his own body, bullets began raining down on them and the bullets kept hitting Kogoro's vital parts.

Ran saw it was Korn who shot at them and Shinichi told her through her ear-piece that Mouri Detective Agency and Kisaki Lawyer Agency just exploded. Once Korn finished shooting, he ran away from the scene and Kogoro coughed.

Eri cried. "Anata!"

Ran sobbed as well. "Otou-san!"

Kogoro smirked. "E-Eri… R-Ran… live…!" and he fainted into coma.

Eri tried to wake Kogoro up, but fainted before she could. Ran quickly got out and checked their heart pulses. They were still alive! Ran quickly told Saguru to put her parents into the highest level of police protection.

~ Sonoko and Makoto's Point Of View ~

Sonoko and Makoto were talking to each other when suddenly Makoto stepped in front of Sonoko and blocked an attack. Then, they were suddenly surrounded by three men, two being hired hands and one employer. They quickly attacked Makoto in hopes of kidnapping Sonoko to lure out Ran and Shinichi, but Makoto is not going to be brought down that easily and fought them all.

The one who was supposed to watch over them (Shiho), could not do anything as she does not process any fighting skills.

Once the fight was over with the two hired hands unconscious and Rum escaping while bleeding heavily, Makoto fainted into coma. Sonoko cried over him while Shiho quickly told Saguru to put the two into the highest level of police protection.

~ Shizuka, Heiji and Kazuha's Point Of View ~

Shizuka was walking with Heiji and Kazuha.

Shizuka opened her fan. "How long are you two planning on staying in Tokyo?"

Heiji sighed. "As long as some people still need me."

Kazuha joined in. "I will take care of Heiji."

Shizuka sighed. "What about school?"

Heiji hummed. "We will catch up after we are done here."

Shizuka sighed again. "Fine…"

Suddenly, smoke surrounded their visual and Shizuka stood in front of Heiji and Kazuha. She was shot multiple time and fell to her knees. Heiji and Kazuha immediately tried to help her.

But Shizuka suddenly pushed them away and a grenade was thrown near her and it exploded.

Heiji was terrified. "Kaa-san!" and rushed towards Shizuka.

Kazuha followed as well and saw Vodka smirking while leaving. When Kazuha reached Shizuka, she saw Shizuka badly burnt.

Heiji held onto Shizuka's hand. "Kaa-san! You have to live! Kaa-san!

Shizuka shakenly kissed Heiji's forehead and smiled slightly. "I-I will…" and she fainted into a coma.

Heiji hugged Shizuka. "Kaa-san!"

Kazuha quickly checked Shizuka's pulse she is still alive! She quickly told Saguru to put her into the highest level of police protection.

~ Sumiko, Ayumi, Mitsuhiko and Genta's Point Of View ~

Ayumi, Mitsuhiko and Genta were still crying while Sumiko tried to cheer them up. They called Conan and Haibara and told them about Agasa-hakase's death, but the two could not make it to the funeral because they had some important things to do. Suddenly, the three children saw a gun pointed at them and they were immediately kept quiet. Sumiko found it strange and quickly turn back to her front and saw the man pointing a gun at them.

Sumiko although scared stood protectively in front of the three children. "What do you want?"

The man growled. "Nothing from you b***h… I just want the three brats!"

Sumiko shaked her head desperately. "I will not let you take them!"

The man smirked. "Too bad!" and he prepared to fire his gun.

The man shot once and Sumiko was shot before Aoko appeared, kicking the gun away from him. Aoko then quickly went to Sumiko and the three children to see to their injuries.

Once Sumiko saw that the three children were saved, she fainted into a coma because of trauma. When Snake almost took hold of his gun to shoot again, Kaito appeared and kicked the gun even further away from him while dropping a few smoke bombs onto the floor.

Kaito then gathered Aoko, the fainted Sumiko and the three children to escape from Snake. Once they were in a safe distant, Kaito checked that Sumiko only fainted and nods to Aoko and Aoko told Saguru to get the highest level of police protection for them.

~ In a restaurant ~

~ Megure couple's Point Of View ~

Juzo was having a meal with Midori when suddenly Midori fainted after drinking her tea. Juzo immediately got up and checked on Midori. He tried to wake her up but it was useless.

Suddenly, another man appeared beside Juzo and felt her pulse. Juzo was about to shout at the man before he saw that the man was Shinichi. Before he could speak, Shinichi silenced him and shaked his head while Shinichi saw Gin leaving the restaurant from a corner of his eyes.

After Gin left, Shinichi turned to Juzo. "Do not worry… your wife will be fine, but she is now in coma. For now, let us leave the restaurant."

Juzo had no choice but to nods and Shinichi carried Midori bridal-style out of the restaurant as he could not. When Juzo was distracted, Shinichi contacted Saguru to put Midori into the highest level of police protection and stat.

~ Akio's car ~

~ Saguru's Point Of View ~

I was sitting in my father's car and he was driving back to Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) HQ.

"Do you want to tell what is going on now, son?"

Before I got any word out, I received words from all of them to put someone into the highest level of police protection and that all of them will be waiting at Beika Hospital where Koizumi Akako was put into police protection and it is the nearest hospital to Tokyo MPD HQ.

When everything got too quiet for my father, he asked me again.

I hold out my hand. "Hold that thought, I need to record down some things, and also can you please drive us to Beika Hospital?"

My father was confused. "What…?"

I took out a phone and begin typing down what they were saying. "I will explain there."

My father sighed. "Fine…" and he quickly drove to Beika Hospital while I typed down everything the rest was telling me.

~ Beika Hospital ~

~ Normal Point of View ~

Once Saguru and Akio reached the hospital, Saguru quickly went to where Shinichi is with Akio following him. When Saguru reached Shinichi, he threw his phone to Akio.

"Please put all of them listed in the phone under the highest level of police protection. I will explain after I have discussed with them what happened."

Akio looked at the list of names. "What are you fighting against?"

Saguru's eyes darkened. "Two very dangerous evil organization," and he walked to Shinichi.

Akio sighed and quickly put all of the names listed in the phone under the highest level of police protection. His son better has a good explanation for this.

~ In front of a hospital room ~

~ Shinichi and Saguru's Point Of View ~

Saguru walked to Shinichi. "They have been put under the highest level of police protection by my father."

Shinichi nods. "That is good… we should leave soon, we cannot stay here too long. Since they are put under police protection by your father, the allied organizations will know that you are with us."

Saguru nods. "Yes, I know. What should we do now? What should I tell my father anyway?"

Suddenly, a voice far older than them entered their conversation. "I will handle him."

Shinichi hugged them. "Tou-san… Kaa-san…"

Yusaku and Yukiko hugged Shinichi back.

"Shinichi, we have missed you."

They nod and Yusaku turned to Saguru. "Do not worry about your father… I will handle him. I am very good friends with him."

Saguru bowed slightly. "Thank you then, Kudo-san."

Yusaku waved them off. "Go, and take the rest with you to where you need to go."

Saguru nods and together with Shinichi entered the hospital room where the other six are.

Beside Shizuka's bed, Heiji had stopped crying with Kazuha still comforting him. Beside Kogoro and Eri's bed, Ran had fallen asleep with Aoko taking care of her.
