Full Summary: This side series is connected to Sky Series 02: The Guarding Sky - Chapter 48. This is about the final battle between Kudo Shinichi, Miyano Shiho, Kuroba Kaito and their allies against the Black Organization and the Magic Kaito Organization.

Chapter 16 – Even More Attacks
Two days later, Rie was out shopping for things, she stopped to rest in a café and ordered a drink. As soon as she finished her drink, she fainted into a coma. Fin was seen walking away from the scene.
Saguru who was watching the CCTV of the shopping mall in the underground base immediately called the ambulance and told his father to put her under the highest level of police protection. Akio agreed but before he can ask any questions, Saguru closed his phone.
Akio sighed and puts his housekeeper under police protection while hoping his son will be alright.
Meanwhile in the underground base, Saguru slammed his hands onto the table. "D**n it!" while his hands trembled.
Shiho hugged Saguru from behind to calm him down. There were still six days before the weapons ordered from the FBI's connection would arrive.

The next day, Yumi and Naeko were patrolling around the street when they stopped at a road side because of a ca that parked illegally there. The two police detectives got off the car and Yumi went to record down the car number while Naeko was observing her surroundings because she felt something off.
When Naeko saw a glance of a rifle aimed at Yumi, she immediately pushed Yumi down and covered her when the bullets began raining on them. Yumi tried to break of Naeko's grip but Naeko held firm on protecting Yumi.
After a while, Yumi's eyes widened as Naeko coughed out blood when the bullets stopped raining down on them. Naeko saw the shooter fled from the scene.
Jodie swore as she saw this from the CCTV surrounding the streets in the underground base and immediately alerted Miwako and Wataru about this while Saguru as well texted his father to put Naeko into police protection.
Shinichi who was watching as well saw that the shooter was Chianti.

The next day was a school day where Ayumi, Genta and Mitsuhiko went to school. Since the discovery of Shinichi and Shiho's identity, they decided to strike these three children's family to strike fear into said children.
Rum attacked Ayumi's parents and killed them by tying them up in their own house and shooting them full of bullets. He made them suffer and slowly died of blood loss. When the police found them, it was a brutal scene where everywhere was full of blood. Some of the police officers even vomited!
In Genta's house, Korn set up from across the store and shot everyone in sight within his scope in the heart. Once everyone was shot, he left the scene.
Mitsuhiko's parents were resting today and Vodka broke into their house. He shot everyone in the household in the head and even tortured the parents. After he was done, he took everything valuable and left the house.
All these three incidents happened at the same time and when the three children are in school. After school, Ayumi, Genta and Mitsuhiko were brought to the Tokyo MPD HQ by Miwako and Wataru. The three children were confused because usually the police would not come for them and they deduced something must have happened to their families.
In the HQ, Miwako and Wataru told them vaguely about their what had happened to their families, and they completely broke them while hugging each other. On the other side, Akio was thinking what to do with these three children, when child protection service came to take the three children away as they were still too young to live by themselves.
Yusaku and Yukiko interfered, saying that they would take care of these three children because Conan had asked them to when he heard what happened to the three children's parents. Yusaku also requested that these three children be put into the highest level of police protection.
The three families' funerals will be held tomorrow.

The next day with Yusaku and Yukiko's help, the three families' funerals were held. Ayumi, Genta and Mitsuhiko's tears continuously fell as they saw their families being buried.
After the funeral, Shinichi and Shiho made a special call together as Conan and Ai to comfort them and encourage them.

In the afternoon, business was slow for Konosuke's Blue Parrot. Konosuke was resting on the counter. Suddenly, he felt a gun pointed at him.
Konosuke peeked an eye. "What do you need, customer-sama?"
Snake smirked. "You know what I need, Jii Konosuke… no, Kaitou Kid's assistant."
Konosuke pressed a button under his counter while lifting up his head and glared at Snake. "I will not give you anything, Toichi-sama's murderer!"
Snake pressed the gun against Konosuke's head. "Even if I were to shoot you…?"
Konosuke grinned widely. "That will be better! I will not let Botchama's secrets out no matter what!"
Snake growled. "Y-You…!"
Konosuke pressed one more button under the counter and then stood up. "I will not let you have this advantage over Botchama!"
Snake growled again. "Then die!"
Snake fired the first shoot and Konosuke dodged it. But he did not see the second shot and got hit in his heart.
Konosuke coughed out blood while falling to the floor. "NOW!" and his parlour exploded while his eyes closed forever.
Snake managed to escape the explosion though.

~ Kaito's house ~
At the same time, Chikage was relaxing in her home when Rose appeared before her with two daggers.
Chikage smirked. "Well, well… what do you need from me, murderer of my husband~?"
Rose smirked as well. "To kill you of course~ it is not great? You get to see your husband on the other side~!" and she laughed evilly.
Chikage stood up while taking out her axes. "I will not do down easily!" while she secretly pressed a button where the room of Kaitou Kid underground exploded, but of course nobody noticed that.
Rose hummed. "Those axes are fakes, right?"
Chikage lifted the axes up while spinning them. "Maybe~" and they started attacking each other.
The two ladies fought each other until they were bleeding heavily and they stopped.
Rose panted. "Not bad, Phantom Lady. You still have your skills…"
Chikage panted as well and narrowed her eyes. "You as well…" and gripped her axes harder. 'This is bad…!'
Suddenly, Rose took out a gun and shot Chikage. Chikage's eyes widened as she fell to the floor.
Rose laughed cruelly. "Unfortunately, I do not want to play fair at all~"
Chikage heard what Rose said as she struggled to press another hidden button on one of her axes before sleeping eternally while her house exploded.
Snake arrived in time to help Rose escape from the explosion.

~ Underground base ~
Kaito broke down into tears. "Kaa-san! Jii-chan!"
Aoko hugged Kaito from behind. "Kaito…"
Shinichi murmured. "With this, the 'Pearl Clam' has been destroyed, with Chikage's life…"
Ran called Miwako to tell her about Chikage's and Konosuke's death. A funeral will be held for them with Kaito and Aoko definitely attending while in disguise tomorrow.

A funeral was held for Chikage and Konosuke with Kaito and Aoko attending it in disguise. Shinichi and Ran went along with them to keep them safe.
Meanwhile in the allied organizations' HQ, Gin had discovered that Kir is part of the CIA and Bourbon is part of Japan's Secret Police Force. When Kir discovered this, she immediately told Bourbon of it. Before they were tracked down by Gin to be killed, Kir and Bourbon escaped from the HQ together.
They contacted Subaru where Subaru brought them back to their underground base after checking them for any listening bugs and such on them.
In the evening when Shinichi, Ran, Kaito and Aoko returned to the underground base, Hidemi and Rei explained to them what had happened in the allied organizations' HQ. After hearing them, Shinichi discussed with the rest and decided to add the two of them into their group.

When Azusa (1) was working in another café because Café Poirot had exploded, she was suddenly attacked from behind and fed a drug by Gin. She then fell into coma and Gin left quickly while everyone around them was panicking.
Rei who was watching over Azusa that day immediately went to check on her pulse without anyone noticing him. When he felt her pulse still beating, he quickly called the ambulance and told Saguru to get her under police protection as it is easier for him to do so.
Saguru agreed and Azusa was send to Beika Hospital. But before that, Rei apologized to Azusa for dragging her into his mess even though she was unconscious.

The next day from the FBI's connections, the weapons that Subaru, Jodie and Camel ordered arrived and all of them prepared for the final confrontation against the allied organizations.
