Chapter 6 – Anger

"So… This "Diala" was the threat you told us about?" Flora nodded, looking away from her friend's wide opened eyes. They were sitting on a rock, near the boundary of the village. It was one of the only places where they could stay without being interrupted.

"Why didn't you tell us about it? We would have helped you!" Layla asked firmly, taking her friend's hand in her own. "Why didn't you tell us you were scared of her?"

"I'm not scared of her." Flora admitted. "I'm scared of what she does." Layla raised an eyebrow.

"Look at what she did to Tecna." Flora sighed. "She really is the one Diala wanted to kill. And it will happen to each one of you if we don't do something to arrest her." Flora looked at her friend directly into her eyes. "I don't want anyone of you to be hurt, Layla! I don't want either one of the Winx, neither one of the specialists, and neither Helia to be hurt!"

"I know." Layla finally smiled. "Look, I don't think I'm good in reassuring people but… When I had trouble with Lord Darkar, when my parents arranged my wedding, when I lost Nabu, everybody was there without thinking about the consequences to remind me that I was not alone to face my problems… The same goes to you. You never told us about your past, and now that we know that you're in trouble, we will do anything to help you."

Flora was lost into her best friend's words. No one ever talked to her like this. Layla was right: she was not alone. When you have friends like that, what do you have to complain about?

"Thank you so much, Layla."

"That's what friends are here for!" Layla winked. Flora hugged her friend, with a huge smile all over her face.

"Flora! Flo- Ah! You were here!" Turning around, the girls saw Nassima running towards them. She looked more confident than the day before.

"You were searching for me?" Flora asked.

"Well, your boyfriend is searching for you. I think he's worried…"

Flora raised an eyebrow, quite amused. "So, you talked to him, right?" While a blushing Nassima turned her look away from her sister's, Flora could swear she was hearing Layla bursting out next to her.

"W-well, he was searching for you, so it was normal to help him… r-right? I don't attend to become friend with him!"

"Sure…" Flora laughed with a smirk in disbelief. "Well, I better go see him. Thanks again Layla." Flora smiled brightly at her friend.

"Anything for you."

While she walked away, Flora heard a conversation between the two girls.

"So, you're a warrior?"

"Y-yeah, I don't think I'm that good, but I try to do my best."

"Can you teach me how to use a sword? It will be useful!"

"You know this is not really a girl-alike thing, r-right?"

"I don't care. I've never been feminine after all."

"Me neither."

Flora smiled to herself. If these two could talk without fighting, everything could be possible after that.

Walking towards the village, Flora saw a pale figure standing near her house. This pale figure that always made her heart skip three beats. He was leaning against the house's wall, with his hands on the pockets of his jean. She could feel a small blush coming on her cheeks. It was unbelievable how much he affected her, even if he had the same tired look that he had before.

"Helia!" She finally called him.

"Flora! I was searching for you!"

"I know." Flora couldn't help but smirk again at the idea of teasing her sister after that discussion. "Nassima told me. Did she talk to you?"

Helia looked surprised. It was like he just realised something. "Well, yes. She asked me if something was wrong, and told me to wait here because she would send you here."

Flora felt a little relieved. It would be good if these two could get along after all. If Nassima started to talk to him, maybe something was possible after all.

"So, you wanted to see me."

"Yes." He cleared his throat. "Flora, I saw you walking away earlier, and you really looked upset. I didn't want to disturb you, so I asked Michelle if you had a problem, and she replied that you would tell me. So, if there is something that's bothering you…"

Flora was touched by the attention his boyfriend carried to her. She could even see the small blush appearing on his face. He might have been thinking that she didn't want to talk to him about it, that she would be mad at him for asking her something like this. But Flora felt the contrary.

It felt good to have people who cared about you all around you.

"Flora, listen, i-if you don't want to talk about it, that's okay. It's just that I was worried and… And I wanted to tell you that no matter what kind of situation you are in; dangerous, mortal, heart-breaking… I'll accept it, because I… you mean a lot to me, and I can't bear seeing you upset. That's all."

She couldn't help blushing and smiling. Her boyfriend was at this moment telling indirectly that he loved her. Even if he seemed uneasy telling his feeling, it was still good. And, even if they all were in a deep kind of danger, she felt good.

Even if each one of them might die at any moment, she was happy.

She still didn't reply to him. She decided to do a little differently before. Taking a few steps towards a surprised Helia, she unconsciously wrapped her arms around his chest, and rested her head on his shoulder. She felt him tense, but, quickly, his hands found their ways around their shoulders, and on her hair, which he was stroking really tenderly, while she felt his head on her own shoulder. She was breathing his scent, this scent that always made her feel relieved, relaxed and happy in any kind of situation. His body heat made her feel protected, and made her forget there was a world all around them.

Oh god, she loved him so much.

"Thank you, Helia."

"For what?" Even without looking at him, she could feel the smile on his face.

"For being there when I need someone."

Just after saying these words, she felt her back pressed on something hard. A wall. She had melted too deeply into the hug to realise he had pushed her against the house. Blushing fiercely, she looked away from the blue eyes which were staring down at her. Helia pressed his right arm against the wall and above her head, while his other hand took her chin and made her look at his face. With his body being so close to hers, her hands put themselves against his chest, only to make him recoil from a few steps.

She knew very well what he was going to do.

"H-H-Helia, y-you won't do t-this here, r-r-right?"

The smirk that appeared on his face made her feel more and more embarrassed. He really wanted her to die of embarrassment.

"There's no one around right now." He whispered, his hand drawing her blushing face towards his more and more. She could already feel his hot breathe again her lips. She was mesmerized by his touch.

"Y-yeah, but if someone comes here t-t-then…"

"Then I couldn't care less about them." His smirk slowly changed into the most relaxing smile. "I thought you liked it when I kiss you."

Flora sighed. She closed her eyes and smiled. "Of course I do, silly." With that sentence being said, Helia completely closed the distance between their faces and captured her lips with his own. Flora finally gave up and melted into the kiss as much as she melted into the hug they shared a few minutes before. Helia's hand which was on her chin found its way on her back and drew her closer to his body, while her arms wrapped themselves around his neck. When the kiss broke, Flora didn't wait for him to breathe to capture his lips a second time for a second kiss.

She felt herself getting deeper and deeper on the kiss when his tongue asked for an entry in her mouth. She gladly accepted it, and it was at this moment that she realised how much she needed to be close to him, that she needed to always have him by her side. She more than loved him.

When they broke apart another time, Flora didn't dare opening her eyes: she didn't want to wake up on her bed, to realise she was dreaming. She was hoping that her closed eyes and her lips quite open would made him understand that she was wanting a third kiss. But hearing Helia moaning in pain completely made her forget about this.

With her eyes completely opened, Flora saw Helia fainting on her arms. She took all the strength she had to break his fall and to lay him down on the floor.

"Helia! What's wrong?" His eyes were closed, and Flora was trying to shake him to wake him up. "Oh no! Don't tell me you're ill! No!" Flora voice started to shake, and her heart was beating too fast for her to breathe normaly. "H-hey Helia! Can you hear me? Helia! Somebody please help!" Michelle was passing by, with one of her friends. Hearing her adoptive daughter's screams, she didn't hesitate and ran towards her, her friend following her.

"Flora, sweetheart! What's wrong?"

Michelle looked down and saw Helia's unconscious body. She put her hands on his face and whispered some words to him, but he didn't seem to react. Flora was shaking but still holding her boyfriend's body into her arms. When she was about put him down in order to let Michelle look at him, Flora looked at her hand which she had put into his back.

Blood.

Her whole hand was covered with blood. This blood came from his back. That was at this moment that the three women saw the arrow stuck on his back.

"This arrow is poisoned." Michelle's friend said with her eyes wide opened.

Flora put her hands in front of her mouth. "Don't worry, we're going to look for Alissa." Said Michelle as both her and her friend stood up and ran away.

Flora couldn't help staring at her injured boyfriend. Her mouth was wide opened, but it was like she couldn't breathe at all. Her whole body was shaking with two emotions. Fear. Anger. She was full of the fear of losing the man who meant everything to her. She was angry because she knew very well who did that. Seeing her boyfriend's eyebrow frowned in pain, his quick breathing, the blood running down all over his back, was making her enraged.

Flora was too angry to realise she was crying. She was too obsessed by the sight of her Helia's blood, pain, and suffering to realise what happened all around her. There was only something in her mind: revenge. She was going to pay for this.

She didn't say anything when she tried to kill her. She ran away from her family to protect them. She saw Tecna being attacked, but she was saved. At this moment, she was watching Helia, the love of her life, her reason for living nearly dying in front of her.

All of that happened because of her.

Quickly standing up, Flora didn't care about what surrounded her anymore.

"YOU'LL PAY FOR WHAT YOU DID UNTIL NOW! SHOW YOURSELF AND FACE ME IF YOU DARE, DIALA!"

... Sorry?

Well, I know a angry Flora isn't really possible, but why not? And I now it might be horrible, but I swear Helia will not die. (I love him too much after all...) I think Flora would react like this if the same situation happened on the cartoon.

So, I hope you liked it again. Next chapter might come soon! :)
