I've been on hiatus, working on other projects. Somebody actually reviewed one of My stories & gave Me some constructive criticism. However, I already know that I haven't went into much deatail & that I have more conversation than anything else. This is because I'm only transcribing these from My notebook. I wrote this in 2011 (Bad Heart in 2012), while slacking off at school. Once they're finished, I'll be making major edits on them. Update: I have made the edits.

The next night, though they both eagerly wanted to kiss, doing so seemed too' awkward. They ended up hugging instead. Still, they felt a lot more comfortable around one another.

"So... what exactly happened yesterday?", Marceline asked.
"Oh, that?".

She shyly played with her hair again.

"I don't know. It just felt like the right thing to do. Did lt feel that way for you?".
"Oh, lt definitely felt right. But.. lt isn't right, is lt? I mean, we're not supposed to. Girls don't kiss girls.".
"Yeah.".
"Are we... are we broken?".

Bonnibel flinched.

"There's probably something wrong with us, right?".
"I don't know. I hope not.".
"Well, why did you do lt?".
"Why did I... kiss you?".

Marceline was surprised. Bonni said the forbidden word, the word they had been avoiding. Reality dawned on them. They had kissed. That really happened.

"It's like you said, I like you.".
"But why? Why me? Why not some handsome boy?", Marceline asked. "It's not like I'm even pretty or anything.".
"You're joking! I've never seen anyone as beautiful as you.".

Bonni gasped & coverred her mouth as Marceline looked shocked.

"Did I just say that?".
"You think I'm beautiful?".
"Ofcourse. And you're nice. I like your personality. You're a pretty good friend. Why would I want some boy? Kissing anyone else just wouldn't make sense.".
"Wow.", was all Marceline could think to say.
"Well, what about you? You said you like me. And you kissed me back. What do you see in me?".
"I don't think I'm pretty, but you... you're like a dazzling diamond. I know, I'm no poet. You're smart, nice, surprisingly fun. You came up with a lot of great ideas. And here I thought I was the fun one.".

They stared at each other, at a loss for words.

"So, what now?", Marceline asked. "Do we stop this here? Or... do we... see each other?".
"Stop?", Bonni said quietly. "We've barely begun. I don't want this to ever stop.".
"In that case: will you be my valentine, Bonnibel?".

Bonnibel made an O face.

"I will be your anything.".

It no longer felt awkward to kiss.

The next day, the two found each other at school. They didn't share any classes, being one year apart, but they did more or less cross paths after fifth period. During the five minutes they had between classes, Marceline had convinced Bonnibel to hang out with her friends Finn & Jake. Bonni managed to convince her parents to loosen up a little, which allotted her some time to hang out with them during the day.

After a few days had passed, Marceline encouraged Bonnibel to inform their friends of their relationship. They were now good friends with the brothers Finn & Jake & their respective girlfriends: Fira & Lada, both greek. Bonnie wanted to wait longer to tell them, but Marcy insisted that the longer that they'd wait, the more awkward that lt would be. And finally, they were all hanging out on one Thursday. The six of them were all walking down the block to a house near the park, which belonged to Finn & Jake. Jake was handing out free complements to his girlfriend. Finn decided to join in with his own.

"Fira. You're so.. breathtaking.", he said wittily, eliciting a smile from Fira.
"That reminds me of you.", Marcy said to Bonnie with a wink, while they were both walking behind the group.

Bonni looked afraid, but didn't say anything.

'Wha? What does that mean?', Finn wonderred.

Their friends didn't know what to think, so they brushed lt all off. Marcy wanted to say: 'Reminds me of a certain pink-haired princess.', but didn't dare.

They finally made lt to Finn's house.

'Okay, one movie. And then, we spill the beans. Our friends will understand. What are friends for?'.

Bonnie's attempts at reassuring herself proved futile. This was incredibly suspenseful for her. She looked over at Marceline, who looked frighteningly unphased.

'Is she not as nervous as I am?', Bonni thought.

They eventually went inside, last. Being that everyone else got there first, the remaining spots were on the loveseat. They had no choice. Bonnie sat on the left, which Marceline found peculiar, as she always sat on the right. Finn had rented Airplane! on VHS from Blockbuster, having heard how hilarious lt is. Everyone laughed & had a good time. Both girls were ancticipating the end of the movie, hoping that lt would never end. And then like clockwork, lt ended. Ninety minutes had never before seemed so short. Now this was lt, their moment of truth. A deep inhalation began the confession.

"Finn. Guys. I have something to tell yous. Actually, we have something to tell yous.", Marceline said, trying to sound confident.
"Oh. What is lt?", asked Finn.
"Well.. we.. are...", she dragged out the, 'are'.
"Come on. You can tell us. We've been friends long enough. It will feel really good to get lt off of your chest.", Finn encouraged.

She spoke even slower, but tried to boost her confidence.

"Okay. Well.. Bonnie & I.. like each other.".
'Phew.. wait.'.
"..Uh, that's great & all, but we already knew that you guys were best of buds.".

Marcy motioned for Bonnie's turn. Bonnie spoke very low & shy.

"We're dating.".
"That's great. Who are y'all dating?".

They just weren't getting lt. Quickly, Marceline decided to demonstrate. She kissed Bonnibel on the lips, passionately, so that everybody could see. Holy glob, were the girls' faces red. Their friends were mindblown. If they were a puzzle, o-shaped peices would fit into their mouths. Bonnie & Marcy sat back down, embarrassed & ashamed. Finally, somebody broke the silence.
Finn was the first to speak.

"Holy glob! That was.. strange, but beautiful. I envy you two. You got my support.".

All of their friends were clapping for them. Both girls took a breather.

"How did that happen?", Fira asked. "I've never seen two girls kiss before.".
"We don't know.", Marceline responded. "It just kinda happened.".
"All we know is that we really like each other. Nothing else matters.", Bonnie said.

"Hey, let's do something speacial for them.", said Jake. "Let's do a triple date!".

That seemed exciting. Finally, the girls could relax. No more sneaking around from them. Unfortunately, they had school tomorrow & something bad was about to happen.

Bonnie & Marcy walked to school together, holding hands. For the first time ever, they allowed themselves to be seen together. They were blushing as they passed pedestrians. Most of them didn't notice, but some gave dirty looks. Their hands looked like the only things keeping them together. Conveniently, I.S.10 literally borders Astoria Heights Park. And that's where they went. The first four periods went well. But, there was no sign of their friends. They had lunch during fifth & met up with their pals. They had all claimed one table for the group of six, which some other students promptly abandoned. There they told food jokes & played made-up card games. When the period ended, the girls went to their lockers. They received odd looks & would hear people snickerring around them in hushed tones. Marceline suddenly noticed that everyone knew their secret & was making fun. Hurt, she began running to Princess Bubblegum's locker when she ran into the ever popular, rumor-spreading girl. Everyone identified her simply as, 'LSP'.

"What, are you looking for another date, Abadeer?".

At this time, Princess Bubblegum ran over to Marceline.

"Who else did you tell?", she said with tears in her eyes.
"I didn't tell anybody else. I swear. I'm just as struck as you are, Bonnie.".
"Ugh, so shameful. You losers are so desperate, because you can't get boyfriends, that you smooch with each other. Seck.".
"Why would you do this? How did you know?", Marceline asked, baffled.

LSP told the story in the form of a flashback: "It's just awkward how close we are.".
"So, you don't like lt?".
"I do.".

Just then, LSP was strolling down the street & eavesdropped on them a bit, before full-on spying on their private time.

"Then come back here.".
"Besides, I said I'd help ya with that eyelash.".

After a few minutes, they went in for the kiss.

"Oooohhhh... myyyy... glooooob!", said LSP silently, before pulling out her cell phone. "Melissa, you'll never believe what I just saw.", she said to Melissa on the phone as she left the scene & began to relay the secret. "I know, right? I didn't even know that was possible.".

"Who did you tell?", said Marceline, back in the present.
"Ummm, like, only everyone in the whole school.".
"I can't believe you would do something like that.", Bonnibel said, still shocked, while LSP walked away disinterestedly.

Marceline knew how the school could be. The teasing was one thing, but they were sure to be bullied. And she couldn't bare to see Bonni get hurt.

"Oh, no. We have to get out of here fast. Quick, follow me.", Marceline urged.

Marcy pulled Bonnie along with her into the girls' bathroom as the crowd laughed evilly behind them.

"We've got to get out through this window. And don't give me shit like, 'we shouldn't'.".

She lifted Bonnie out the window first, then hurriedly clomb out herself.

"Let's get far away from here.", Marceline told her fearfully.
"But what about tomorrow? How are we ever going to show up here again?.".
"We'll have to tell our parents the truth. Only they can get us out of this.".
