Thank you for sticking with me and all the really amazing comments. I appreciate them all. This chapter gets slightly violent, so beware, but nothing too terrible.

Last Time in Deity: Xavier and the others got capture and sent into cells.

Chapter 11: Bad night

Lilly wakes up during the night, and struggles to sit up. Her body was yelling at every movement she made. She tries to stand up, but falls to her knees, the IV still in her arm. When she looks up, she sees Remy watching her.

"How you doin' chere?" Remy questioned.

"It's hard to move. Everything hurts," Lilly answered.

"I know. Same t'ing happen t' me. It wear off," Remy comforted.

"Where are we?"

"Don' know. Don' know why eit'er."

They heard a door open, and footsteps came down the hallway. It was two guards. One of the guards had short dark black hair that he styled to stand up in spikes. His eyes were also a dark black, and he wore a malicious smile on his face. The other guard, taller than the first, had dirty blond hair that was very short, and complimented his light blue eyes. He was much calmer than the shorter one, and didn't look as menacing. They stopped in front of Lilly's cell.

"Well well, look at what we have here, Nick, a mutie who ain't sleepin'," the dark haired guy said.

"Come on Tony, we shouldn't be here," Nick, the light haired one replied. "Remember what happened last time?"

"Well then keep a better eye out this time," Tony said. "I just want to teach her a lesson for being a mutant. For ma."

"Fine, whatever," Nick sighed. He gave Lilly a long, sad look before turning to watch the door.

Tony unlocked Lilly's cell and went inside. He tore the IV from Lilly's arm. She yelled.

"Hey! You lea'e her alone. Why don' you pick on someone your own si'e?" Remy shouted.

Tony stood up from where he had been previously kneeling in front of Lilly. He slowly turned and looked at Remy, an angry, hateful look on his face. At the same time, Nick had looked behind him at Remy, and then turned to Tony.

"Cajun…"Tony whispered menacingly.

"Tony, no! He wasn't the one who killed your mother," Nick said, moving in between Tony and Remy's cage.

"How do you know?" Tony questioned.

"Remember, I was there with you. Their eyes are completely different. We don't want to do anything that will anger the commander," Nick tried to reason with Tony.

"Then I'll tell you what Nick. I want you to leave right now. I'll take all the punishment, but I don't want you to fall for what I'm about to do."

"No Tony, we're bond brothers, I'm not leaving you, but I won't help with this either."

"I understand," Tony responded.

Remy stood up with some difficulty, preparing for the hulking Tony. Tony walked into Remy's cell and punched him square in the jaw. Remy clung to the wall, trying to gain his balance, only to be punched in the gut several times. Having already been weak made things a little harder on Remy, but that didn't stop him from fighting back, and so he threw several punches at Tony, knocking him down. Remy went to kick Tony in the head, when he was stopped by Nick. Nick took Remy's foot and threw Remy to the ground, getting on top of him and hitting him. Tony got up off the floor, and Nick held Remy up.

"I thought you said you weren't going to help," Tony questioned.

"I wasn't. But I can't very well let you get hurt now, can I?" Nick answered.

"Well thanks, bro."

Nick nodded as Tony continued to hit Remy. Lilly struggled to stand up, and then did her best to run at Tony and jump on his back, pulling on his hair to get him away from Remy. That allowed Remy to break free enough to start punching and kicking at Nick, knocking him unconscious. While Remy was dealing with Nick, Tony threw Lilly off of him, right into a wall. He grabbed her by the throat and hit her against the wall again, sliding her upwards until her feet were dangling off the ground. She gripped onto his wrists, trying her hardest to both breath and kick him.

"Lilly!" Remy shouted, running over to her. Before he could reach her, he was hit by an electric current and fell to the floor. Remy hit the floor the same time that Tony and Lilly did. Tony landed on his back while Remy landed on his stomach. Lilly landed on her knees gasping for breath and coughing a little. Remy could make out a pair of boots walking into his cell.

"You're a pathetic excuse for a soldier," the man said with a deep voice, looking down at Tony. "Drag him out of here, with his brother. Lock them both away while you're at it."

Lilly watched as soldiers came into the cell and dragged Tony and Nick away. The commander kneeled down in front of Lilly and grabbed her chin, gently lifting it up so he could see her throat. He then picked her up and placed her back on her bed in her cell and reattached the IV. Remy couldn't make out what it was, but the man whispered something into Lilly's ear. Then he locked up both cells and left, leaving the cell area silent again.
