Short chapter this week. Sorry guys :(

Last time on Deity: Lilly loses herself to her new abilities, but Xavier stops it, and they take Lilly home.

Chapter 14- Memories

Lilly sat on a drought cracked dirt ground. The sky above was dark black, almost like a terrifying storm was on the horizon. Dried tears stained her cheeks. Xavier sat in front of her.

"Lilly, it's okay. Everyone is safe. You don't need to punish yourself anymore," Xavier said.

"I don't know if I can face them Professor. Besides, I like it better here. It's safer here," Lilly responded.

"Lilly..." Xavier started.

"Until I'm better at controlling my powers, new and old, I'm staying here."

"Will you keep trying with me, in here then?" Lilly nodded at Xavier's question. "Okay, then I'll leave for now. I'll be back later okay?"

"Thank you Professor."

Xavier opened his eyes, staring down at Lilly, who slept peacefully in her coma. He sighed as Rogue walked in the infirmary.

"How is she?" Rogue asked.

"Sad, depressed, remorseful. But I am confidenet we will help her," Xavier replied.

"Ah know ya will Professor. You're good at helpin' others."

"Thank you Rogue."

For the next week Xavier came by everyday, entering the mind of LIlly. They discovered things that she had never known, pieces of her past that had been blocked. Xavier reached back to the farthest parts of her memories in their first session.

There was a woman with bright red hair and emerald green eyes. A small child that looked like a very young version of Lilly, jumped into the woman's arms.

"Aye wee little one!" Where de ye come from?" the woman asked smiling.

"The gardens with Papa," little Lilly said.

"Showing ye all sorts o' things I imagine."

"Uh huh. He showed me to grow pretties."

"Really now? And what kind of pretties they be?" the woman questioned.

"Papa said it was little me's," Lilly answered.

"Ah, little Lily's. They be me favorite flower. But do ye know what I love more than those wee flowers?"

"Me?"

"Of course it be you child. I will love you always and forever."

"And I love you Mama."

A tall, gentle looking man with blond hair and blue eyes came up to the two females, smiling. When he met the woman's eyes, both of their eyes turned sad.

"It's time Aurnia," the man said.

"I know Stefan."

"Time for what?" Lilly asked.

"Well my little flower," Stefan said. "We are all going on an adventure."
