Chapter 13- Agatha

Little Lilly, Aurnia, and Stefan came up to a very large, ancient looking mansion that was painted a very dark black color, with two large gargoyles standing out front, by the edge of the stairs leading up to the front door. Lilly ran up to the one on the right and petted it's head.

"Mama! Papa! He protects this place!" Lilly stated.

"Yes little one, he do," Aurnia replied. "Come, come."

They walked inside the mansion and was greeted by a vibrant hall. The darkness of the exterior of the mansion was the exact opposite of the inside. The hallway itself had a very warm and welcoming vibe to it. There were crystal chandaliers hanging from the ceiling, tables with flowers lined the hall, and paintings hung on the walls as far as the eye could see. An elderly lady with white hair and wrinkles covering her face and body, dressed in a black dress with gray lace around the neck and wrists, walked towards them. Next to her was a child with long, straight pale blond hair and shimmering eyes, walked beside her.

"Granny Agatha! It's so nice to see you!" Stefan smiled, hugging the old woman.

"And it is good to see you. Is this Lilly?'

"Aye this be our little one. And who be this?" Aurnia asked.

"This is Skye. She has the ability to control storms and wind and such," Agatha said.

"You can?" Lilly exclaimed. "I can grow plants and move boulders, rocks and stuff like my Papa, and I can create and control fire like Mama!"

"Cool," Skye smiled shyly.

"Why don't you two go play while the grownups talk?" Agatha said. The two girls left to play.

17 year old Lilly sat with Xavier back in her arrid landscape. The clouds in the background now were a little less menacing, and a little bit of light began to shine through.

"I don't remember them Professor."

"Shall we continue and find out why and what happened?"

"Yes, please."

Young Lilly was sitting in a chair in the middle of what looked like an office. Her parents were standing behind Agatha, tears clouding their eyes. Lilly was confused and didn't know what was going on.

"Now Lilly, close your eyes sweetheart," Agatha said.

"But why are Mama and Papa sad?"

"We'll tell you later okay flower?" Stefan said.

"Okay Papa."

"Now please close your eyes," Agatha said again.

Lilly was now suspicious of the old woman, but nonetheless, closed her eyes. She felt Agatha put her hands on both sides of Lilly's head. With her eyes closed, everything went from black, to blinding white, back to black again. She heard talking, but found her eyelids heavy, and couldn't open them.

"Thank you Agatha. Will they continue to be sealed?" Aurnia asked.

"Yes, but I'll have to seal her powers every three years for it to stay that way. The side effect, however, is that she will lose most of her memories. When will you come back for the girl?" Agatha questioned.

"We don't know. Maybe never. We can't return until we can guarantee her safety from Shadow," Stefan answered.

"I understand. I will care for her until your return."

"Thank you Agatha," Stefan said. Lilly felt warm arms wrap around her.

"I will always love you little flower. Be strong," Aurnia said. Another pair of arms wrapped around her.

"Our love will always be there protecting you. Goodbye precious one," Stefan said. Then everything was dark.
