Last time on Deity: Lilly and Xavier delve deeper into Lilly's mind, meeting Agatha.
Chapter 16- New friends, new life
Grown Lilly sat next to Xavier in her little world.
"Is that why my powers didn't manifest until a little while ago? Why I didn't know about them?" Lilly questioned.
"It appears so. It also explains why you had those two abilities. It would seem that your particular X-gene, is to take on any powers you share or take DNA from, was there from birth, and you took on both of your parents powers because of that."
"But what about the other ones? And who is Shadow?"
"Unfortunately I do not have those answers. We'll find out more tomorrow okay?"
"Okay, thank you Professor."
"You are very welcome Lilly."
Little Lilly woke up and found herself lying on a couch. She was confused on how she got there, or where exactly she was. Agatha walked into the room with a young boy with black eyes and hair with red tips. He smiled at Lilly as Skye came in behind him.
"How are you feeling child?" Agatha asked.
"I'm confused, I don't know where I am, and I don't know what's going on!" Lilly started to cry. The boy sat next to Lilly.
"It's okay, I didn't either when I first got here, but it's a really nice place," the boy said.
"It is?" Lilly sniffled.
"Uh huh! We have lots of fun here," Skye chirped in.
"Who are you guys?" Lilly asked everyone.
"My name is Hidashi," the boy said. "This is Skye, and that's Granny Agatha. We're all mutants."
"Am I a mutant?" Lilly asked.
"No child, you are not. Just a sweet girl we found," Agatha answered.
"Ooh. You guys look older than me," Lilly said.
"Yes dear. You're only 5. Skye here is 7, Hidashi is 9, and you don't really need to know how old I am," Agatha answered.
"Ooh. What's a mutant anyways?" Lilly questioned.
"Heavens child. So many questions. You three run along and play, they'll answer your questions. I need my rest," Agatha ushered them out.
They went upstairs and showed Lilly her room.
"So what is a mutant anyways?" Lilly asked again.
"A mutant has special powers. Skye controls, well, the sky, and I have two powers. I have the ability to control water and I can turn into a gargoyle. That one I'm still learning to control though, because if I get caught outside in that form during the day, then I turn to stone until nighttime," Hidashi answered.
Three years passed by quickly and the three kids had gotten very close. Agatha home schooled them, and their only form of fun was each other. One day Lilly was called into the office by Agatha. Her powers were contained, and her memory erased once again. Hidashi and Skye re-introduced themselves. Three more years passed. Lilly was now 11, Skye was 13, and Hidashi was 15. Hidashi had started to grow a fondness towards Lilly, something that went beyond friends. He was very protective of her. Skye was her best friend, and they spent all of their time together. All three were inseperable.
